I made an order on 11/24. First 3 jerseys came with wrong number and player name spelled wrong. Same mistake on all 3. I was then promised when a supervisor put in order new that the jersey would be overnighted and delivered before Christmas. Supervisor screwed up and put next day air after the 25th. This screw up cause the jersey to not get there in time for Christmas. Finally received the jersey today 12/30. Unbelievable that it took 5 weeks to get it and they messed up a christmas present. Go to there Facebook page and you will see numerous complaints of same issues. Fanatics does there business and same complaints on there site. Also when they made notes for warehouse they dont even bother to read it. Worst experience ever and I have bought many times before from NHL shop before fanatics took over with no issues.
I ordered sweat pants and received the email saying they shipped. I never received the first order. I demand rush shipping because I guess they use USPS to deliver to the house which doesn't require a signature. I had to call about four times to find out when my package would ship because I never heard anything. When I finally got an email I had to call again because it said standard ground. Ridiculous. Never getting my business again.
This company is a joke. Please do not waste your time, or money with them. You will never see your product. Impossible to talk to anyone, and the only email reply you get is automated. Never dealt with a company as bad as this.
I placed an order, and when I received my confirmation, I was charged for expedited shipping. Be careful because it defaults to expedited shipping. I didn't click on anything for the shipping, so be sure to change it if you do not want that.
Ordered a jersey the beginning of july seeing it would take a few weeks to get here. Two days before the delivery date august 9 i got an email saying it wouldn't be delivered until September 10. This was a birthday present and i you would think beginning of july was good enough time for end of august birthday. Talked to customer service the day i got that email and they said they would email the manufacture and in 5-7 business days email me back. 12 business days later i reached out again because i haven't heard anything and another person told me there is nothing i can do and the inquiry was for expedited shipping even tho the manufacture does't do that. Also can't cancel the order soooooooo now i'm just waiting to see if it ever gets here.
Do NOT order from this website. As the official store for the NHL, you would expect they would have their act together, but it's simply not the case. I placed an order that said my item would ship within 3 business days. They charged my credit card immediately, but the order status didn't change. After 2 weeks, I contacted them for an update and was told they didn't have any additional information but I'd be notified when my item shipped. Days later I called only to be told the item would ship in another TWO weeks, and they would upgrade my shipping. That date came and went and I called again, only to be told now (a month after my order) that the order hadn't even been processed yet. They gave me the total run-around and did not deliver on their supposed promise to guarantee customer satisfaction. I canceled my order and will go elsewhere - always. Stay clear of this shop.
I ordered a pair of skates from them and then tried to cancel. I was within the 24 hour period by 3 hours but they started stonewalling me saying the skates were a "customized item" & refused to cancel. They acted like they were customizing them like a jersey with your name on it. They also said it was a manufacturer direct item and I couldn't return them. Their definition of "manufacturer" was the company that had possession of them(Fanatics) NOT Bauer, the actual manufacturer. Once they have your money they are not customer friendly in the least. If I could give them a negative 5 star I would. Terrible, terrible. Buyer beware!
I would detail all my complaints but everyone else has already suffered the same fate that I did. You'll get dinged the exchange on your credit statement, customer service is clueless and not authorized to do anything helpful, and I ended up with a purchase from the NBAStore because of their incompetence (joint corparate warehouses). I will never again purchase merchandise from NHLShop.com
Ordered a hoodie for my son's birthday. Unfortunately, even though I live 3 hours from Toronto, nhl.com ships from the U.S., so shipping is overpriced (even though they have "revamped" it). Even though I ordered it during a 25% off sale, the price with shipping came to $91CAD for a $20 quality hoodie. The first time it was washed (and following instructions), the iron-on logo started to peel at he edges and wrinkle. Save yourself money: find a sports store to buy your hockey fan apparel. At least you can see if it is cheaply made before you shell out the cash.
I wanted to exchange the XL jersey for a Large jersey. I am told they don't take returns after 30 days! I still want a jersey and am willing to pay but I want the right size. No supervisor or manager was available, yeah right! Should have looked at this site first. DON'T buy from this site.
We needed our package for a birthday party tonight and paid extra for shipping to get it here early it didn't come. I called and talked to Brianna and she was amazing they totally refunded my shipping amount back to me! I love these guys! That is the best customer service I have had in a long time. No questions asked just refunded my shipping back to me of $25! You guys are Awesome! Thanks to Brianna and the people she works with! VERY SATIFIED customer in Utah!
Ordered winnipeg toronto and edmonton shirts off nhl.com. They all come at seperate times which is weird but WOW THESE SHIRTS ARE CHEAP... Very thin material... decals look so cheap its unreal the nhl makes something so cheap.and shipping is crazy.If u want nhl shirts buy them at a local store... NEVER AGAIN
The customer service doesn't help you that much. Usually there isn't anything that they can do, just apologies.
I ordered two shirts, which was shipped separately. The other shirt did ship in time but the other package was lost. I had to wait a certain time until they began to look for the package. This was marked as lost package and they sent me a new one. The product status is "in stock" but now it has taken 4 days from "shipped" status and the package still hasn't left. The customer assistant said the package won't leave until Friday 15th, so at that time there is 7 days delay already. The assistant couldn't tell me the reason why it cannot be shipped. Apparently the status isn't "in stock". The assistant didn't want to help me to find out the situation, so I just have to wait or report it as a lost package again...
Wow! After looking at all the reviews I wish I had done this before I ordered. My story is pretty much the same. I ordered two custom jerseys because they site said they would arrive before Christmas. Then on Dec. 24th I received an email that they were sorry they would not be available on time. I immediately sent an email to cancel the order if possible ( because it was custom) and to let me know if it was cancelled. Today three weeks later after still not hearing back I called today over three weeks later. They could not tell me if the order has been cancelled or not, They are going to try to cancel it now, but still cant guarantee it will be cancelled. So when we go to the game this weekend I still cant even but the kids the jerseys at the game because I know if they do ship CUSTOM jerseys they will not accept the return. Be AWARE!
Ordered a hat, too small. Called them, and was told that they are now a paperless company. Oh, but because I've Already gone paperless too, I now have to drive to a store or the library to find a printer and use paper to return this item because they will NOT send me a return label in the mail! Seriously, this company won't send a customer a return label. Not a customer now... Never ordering another item from this site. Ridiculous and annoying as hell. Terrible customer service.
I ordered an autographed hockey puck for my grandson's birthday on 5/5/2021. My grandson's birthday party was yesterday, 5/16/2021 and I had not received the ordered item. Apparently it was shipped on 5/6/2021 via FEDEX, though FEDEX was unable to give me much information when I contacted them on 5/13/2021. I finally received a notification from FEDEX today, 5/17/2021, that I should receive the item tomorrow. This is pretty ridiculously long shipping time. I only hope the item is as advertised when I do receive it. I was pretty bummed to go to my grandson's birthday empty handed. I definitely will NOT shop on this site again.
Received order initially and was sent wrong item. Contacted customer service and they sent out supposedly the correct item. When I received it, it was the wrong item again. Let customer service know what happened and received a form letter. Won't be shopping with that bunch again.
I ordered a jersey on Nov 11th with 3 business day shipping, today is Nov 27th and I still haven't received the order. Ive contacted Shop. NHL numerous times as the jersey is for my son's birthday only to receive instructions on how to check the status online.

Placed an order and was told 1-3 business days. This was for a gift and it still hasn't shipped a week later. I ask to cancel the order so that I could get somewhere else on time. Refused to cancel and it was obvious that Quashan in customer service had no interest in trying to help.
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. Stay away. Ordered a hat which came rather quickly but unfortunately was the wrong one. Called to let them know, they said send it back and they would send the correct one. They sent the same hat back again. When I called to let them know they sent the same "wrong" hat they assured me it was the one I ordered. I sent the hat back again and said I just wanted a refund in which I was not given the full refund and still have not been fully refunded. They are terrible to deal with. Will not buy anything again!
Answer: Won't do you much good. I used email on the PayPal receipt twice - no response, and used the following one from the "Contact Us" page three times. Never a response Anna: jerseyservice@smailu.com PayPal receipt also showed name in Chinese characters and throughout the site you can tell that English is definitely a second language.
Answer: It takes them over a month to even ship orders. Highly suggest buying from Sportchek instead.
