"Customer service" for this website is a laughable misnomer. They are incredibly useless. Breathtakingly inefficient and under trained. First, I made an order for the Disney Calgary Flames hoodie on November 6 with expedited shipping to receive quickly, in time for my Thanksgiving trip. They shipped it with some trash company named LaserShip that also has garbage reviews. LaserShip didn't even TRY to make delivery attempts to my military base (where USPS, UPS, and FedEx all have no issues making deliveries successfully) and returned it to sender instead... so I called 'customer service' and they issued me a refund for my expedited shipping and sent out another hoodie, expedited on them. What do I receive TWO WEEKS later? A Disney hoodie... but for the Blue Jackets. Yet, with a Flames barcode on it. Really? I called 'customer service' and they said they couldn't issue me another one for a third time because the system won't let them, when asked for further explanation he conferred with his supervisor and then told me, "we don't send items 3 times when you get the wrong thing because it could happen again."... what. Really? The h*ll kind of customer service is that?
I'm on a military base with no printer access so I can't print a return label. I requested they maybe do a workaround and send me a NEW ORDER of the same hoodie (so it doesn't read as a reissue) and include a return label in it for me to send the wrong one back (like an exchange!) And he said they couldn't do that.
He said my only option was to either go to the post office and pay out of pocket to return it and be reimbursed later, or keep the wrong hoodie. He also said I could just reorder it and he'd make a "supervisor note" to honor the sale price I purchased it under.
I've been placing orders from this website for as long as the website has been a thing, and it's always something new they manage to mess up. They need to really overhaul production, distribution, training, customer service providers, and efficiency of the entire "Shop NHL" branch of this. It's pathetic.
I have recintly purchased 2 women's NHL jerseys for my kids Christmas presents. I have had them in my cart for almost 3 weeks hoping they would come on sale. I could not wait any longer so December 3 at 5pm I placed my order. I woak up next morning and seen they were on sale $151 off for the pair.
So I called customer service which to 45min I will never get back. They told me just in December they don't oner sales. No where on there website shows this. So owning my own business we always oner sales. Up to 14 days. I guess this is why you should always buy local.

The logo on the hoodie I ordered was completely crooked and the customer service told me that to send it back to them and they could give me a different style of hoodie that would have been $20 more expensive because the other one was sold out. They saw a picture of the hoodie and clearly said that it was crooked and said they couldn't do anything about it. With a brand like this, I was hoping their merchandise would come out with really good quality and better customer service.
Purchased a custom Penquin jersey for my Grandson. It came with a letter missing.
Customer service insisted it was my typo and would not do anything for me. I wrote a letter to the CEO and Chastity responded in less than 24 hours indicating they would send a new shirt expedited for Christmas. I would use this Co. Again. I just recently tried to purchase a Pittsburgh Penguins throw. I entered in all my information, the billing and shipping address was the same. EXACT SAME. It was the EXACT SAME billing information for my card. There was no block on this site for my bank or my card. For some reason it was saying that the billing and shipping addresses didn't match. I literally clicked the button that said "Shipping and Billing addresses are the same."
They told me to call my bank to see if there was a block on the card. THERE WASN'T.
They then gave me a number to call once I got off the phone with the bank, for someone to give me a hand with my order... IT WAS LITERALLY THE SAME NUMBER I CALLED FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE LADY LITERALLY GAVE ME HER NUMBER. The exact same number.
Then they told me they couldn't really do anything about it. They couldn't 'force' the transaction. It's their website that's faulty and costing them business. They couldn't help me further.
Amazon is getting my business instead.
I found an item on their website, advertised at 59.49 with code NHLCM. 18. HOWEVER WHEN I attempted to place the order, the website tried to charge 84.99 stating this item did not qualify. I called their customer service and asked why their website would even show the discounted price for this item, however they were trying to charge me full price. She said only select sizes were included. I was ordering a very common size of XL.

I started the order on Thursday but had to finish the order Friday. I was happy at first with that as I noticed the discount was now 30% rather than 15%. You think one would be happy with this? Well odly enough the price was the exact same. Meaning, they priced the item higher the second day to make it appear the discount was greater... not cool.
I ordered a Duncan Keith Winter Classic Jersey (#2). I received a Murphy (#5). After talking with customer service, she issued a return label and a new order and specifically instructed the warehouse to send me what I ordered. Package #2 came and guess what!? It was another Murphy jersey. Now they are out of stock. I'm not convinced they were ever in stock of what I ordered. Never doing business with them again. Sorry NHL!
I order a jersey from NHL.ca on October 19th, they let me know it would ship no later than the 26th. On the 30th I hadn't heard anything from them, the online chat rep ensured me it shipped on the 30th and that I would get an email to confirm. On Nov 19 still no email & no jersey. Again on the 19th am online chat rep told me it was a special date shipping item and has been delayed, which was obvious. She told me there was no way to know when it will ship but she guessed it would on Nov 20th. Today is Nov 23 and they just emailed me letting me know they cannot fulfill this order. This was supposed to be a birthday present that went along with NHL game tickets. This was a horrible experience I will not be shopping on this website again.

I ordered a few items from this site and as of now only received one item. They were in stock when I purchased them. I only got an email confirmation about the one item shipped so I contacted customer service to find out why the rest wasn't shipped. I was told she didn't know. Since I got no response as to why... the next day I contacted them again and was told the items are coming from different warehouses. I still have no idea how long I have to wait for my order to be filled completely and shipped. Hopefully soon.
I ordered a Golden Knights gray pullover hoodie, Item #*******. The tag number on the hoodie received exactly matches the website Item number. But the hoodie received has the name of a Golden Knights Goalie on the back, the hoodie pictured on the website, Item *******, clearly shows no name on the back and that is what I wanted... no name. Other than that, the product appears to be of good quality and arrived on time as advertised.
I ordered an authentic customized Anaheim Ducks alternate jersey and when it arrived I noticed immediately that the name and numbers were made of some cheap one layer plastic material. Their site clearly stated that the jersey was an authentic but they sent me something I wouldn't even accept on a replica. I had to remove the lettering and numbers and send the jersey to a proper store to get it customized correctly. The jersey itself was an authentic but they really fooled me with the customization. I'll never buy any customized jerseys from them again.

As many of the other reviews. Shipping is horrendous. When you purchase you don't realize they charge you for shipping until the very last step. Then they tell you 3-5 days shipping. 2 weeks later I am STILL waiting.
Not only did my order take 10 days longer than it should have to get here, I GOT THE WRONG ITEM MAILED TO ME. I ordered a Pittsburgh Penguins T-shirt and received a BOSTON RED SOX T SHIRT. Like what. When I called customer service they demanded that I can not get the original t shirt I ordered but have to return the other shirt and will get a refund within probably another 10 business days. This shirt was one of the presents for my dads birthday and it's just embarrassing that this happened. I also had a very similar experience with the NFL website, only their customer service was ******* times better.
I ordered a custom jersey I ordered the wrong size call ten minutes after I ordered they said it couldn't be changed because it was custom. They took my money pretty fast. Then it said it would sip in 7 days never shipped so I called the girl said it shipped she would send tracking number never got it so I called back the next person told me it didn't ship so the first person lied. How is it that most businesses can ship items in 2 days, 3 days 4 at most and this place takes 2 weeks to get an item that is in stock. My jersey took 10 days to arrive AFTER they said it had arrived at FedEx.?
Ordered a hat, too small. Called them, and was told that they are now a paperless company. Oh, but because I've Already gone paperless too, I now have to drive to a store or the library to find a printer and use paper to return this item because they will NOT send me a return label in the mail! Seriously, this company won't send a customer a return label. Not a customer now... Never ordering another item from this site. Ridiculous and annoying as hell. Terrible customer service.
I ordered a William Karlsson (Vegas Golden Knights) jersey for my husband for his birthday. Unfortunately I ordered it a size too big. I wanted to return it and they wouldn't let me because they said it was a custom jersey. The only thing that deemed it custom was that they didn't have the players name in stock. They don't have MOST players names in stock, so what are our options people? The "supervisor" Christina was RUDE beyond belief. I took 2 minutes reading her comments and thinking out my response only to be met with "HELLO? ARE YOU THERE?". Worst policy ever. If I had known this I would have NEVER bought from you. I've purchased 3 jerseys and other items and this is the only time I've needed an exchange. NOT a return, but an exchange. I'm beyond disappointed and upset.
Answer: Won't do you much good. I used email on the PayPal receipt twice - no response, and used the following one from the "Contact Us" page three times. Never a response Anna: jerseyservice@smailu.com PayPal receipt also showed name in Chinese characters and throughout the site you can tell that English is definitely a second language.
Answer: It takes them over a month to even ship orders. Highly suggest buying from Sportchek instead.
