I worked to hard for my money for my order not to come on time if it comes at all... Shein is a total rip off and messed up my kids Xmas...
An item of my (first) order was not according to the description (night lamp should be USB rechargeable incl. A 3C charger, instead it was only battery operated, I choose the more expensive option compared to other offers to get these 2 aforementioned features).
I wanted to ship the item back and get a refund, then I got to know that returning wasn't for free, but the buyer is charger for the returning shipping cost.
In my case I shouldn't be charged since the item I received wasn't according to the description (either I received the wrong item or the description is wrong).
I wrote to Shein, they asked for many pieces of evidence (pictures, of everything, package, envelope, item barcodes etc.), I sent everything and then I got the response that the item I received was the right one!
Then I wrote a complain through customer service, they asked again for everything, I sent it once again and they never wrote back.
Unacceptable! There are other platforms (like Temu) which have a cost free return procedure and they give your money back without a great fuss.
So, if you wish to buy Chinese goods, better choose another provider, this kind of behaviour should be dealt with from the consumer side.

Hi! I went shopping on this site on APRIL 24, and i have not received my package STILL. I complained multiple times, and at first when i asked for a tracking number, they gave me one from a previous purchase i made, which is stupid! I am not stupid enough to fall for something like that. I complained on this site and they replied with ANOTHER TRACKING NUMBER THAT DOESNT WORK. I sent multiple emails to them on their website and they still give me the WRONG TRACKING NUMBER. They say it is in town but the tracking number says the package doesn't even exist. What i hate more than dishonesty is a company that is sketchy like this one. I asked for a refund and they say that my package is in town (which i wont believe unless i have proof from a tracking number that works). So now in order to get my money back, i have to return a missing package that i can not track and that i am sure that was not even sent. I contacted the Better Business Bureau about this "Sheinside" and have found that multiple people are having the same problem with these people. All i want is MY money back.
If they do decided to comment back it will be "Sorry", "we dont know why its coming so late" "here an (invalid) tracking number". This is their response for every complaint. So really no help.

I purchased some items at SHEIN and received a notification 7 hours after the package was delivered. When I looked for it at my front door, not package. I looked at my camera and the package was delivered about 1:00pm on Dec 7,2024 and was stolen from my front door at 2:03pm. I was home and the delivered person did not rang the door bell or knock on the door. I emailed SHEIN and Maddy said I have to contact the delivery company, they cannot do anything about it. I did not hire the deliver company, SHEIN did and the delivery company said, they delivered the package. I also looked to see if they package was out for delivery and it did not say it was out for delivery and it will be delivered the week of Dec 9th. I asked Maddy to escalate this to a manager, she said no manager is available, this was going on for almost 3 weeks and not manager was available? THIS IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. NOW I AM OUT $52.00 and did not receive my order.

Answer: It is a hit and miss. Some items are OK but others are made by them recreating clothes from other companies and the fabrics are literally table cloths of worse. It is best to look at the photos of clothing posted by the users themselves and not she inside. I wouldn't purchase anything they add themselves. Also, to let you know how long it takes. I ordered a few items on April 15th via express shipping and they still haven't shipped them. It is JUNE! So I would save your money and shop at other sites even if they're a bit more expensive.

I got my clothes in a good period of time and sure some of the clothes didn't fit the way I needed them too but that's the risk you take buying online without trying something on. I found the clothes to be a good quality. I would compare the quality of items I received to be similar to that of like forever 21 or urban planet. No where is going to be perfect and you have to use your discretion when purchasing something. Obviously you're not going to get this intricate beautifully crafted A+++ quality item for like $13, but I would say the quality was better than I had expected given the pricing.
