I came across SheInside while browsing online for Christmas shopping and was amazed at the wonderful selection of clothing and accessories they offered. They have an amazing array of professional-appearance attire as well as casual for any occasion. Their clothing is also very versatile with accessories. I decided to treat myself and ordered their "Black High Waist Polka Dot Asymmetrical Skirt" which looked adorable and I fell in love with it at first sight. I messaged customer service with inquiries about their sizing and dimensions as well as more information about the quality of the fabric and they were extremely courteous and prompt with my inquiries. I received my order right on time and the skirt was securely packaged and safe with no damages. The polyester was of high quality and extremely comfortable and light weight. The fit was perfect to the size recommendations. The website was simple to navigate and the order process was no hassle at all! I was extremely satisfied with my experience.
I shopped with Shein for over 7 months straight. Spending hundreds of dollars each month. The problem with Shein is their refund system. I sent an outfit back. THEY NEVER ISSUED ME MY REFUND! They started sending me emails the day after I returned my outfit. Saying "Congratulations, you received a refund. Being that they are in CHINA, there is No Way In the world that they received my clothes back the very next morning. For over a month, they continued to say "Our Records Show that your refund was credited back to your original payment. THEY NEVER REFUNDED MY MONEY, AND KEPT SENDING EXTREMELY SMALL RECEIPTS THAT LOOK LIKE THEY DID THEM ON A CHEAP COMPUTER. They then sent me a coupon for $40.00 off $200.00 purchase. I TOLD THEM THAT THE REFUND WAS FOR $17.37. The principal is... I send you your product... You send me my money! Don't try to manipulate the situation. I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THESE CROOKED LOW DOWN, NO GOOD, UNRIGHTEOUS, THIEVES AGAIN!

Not only is returning items a nightmare…. For whatever reason Shein divided my order into different item numbers. Which is really confusing to me. Then they claim you can't return different orders in the same package. Therefore making me think they are trying to make money off the shipping back of the items. Supposedly charging $7.99 per order returned. Which isn't right because the order I placed was the same order, shein took it upon themselves to divide my one order into seven different order numbers. I'm not going to play their game, my order all came in the same package so it's all going back in the same package it came in, all together. I have a feeling I won't be getting the correct refund that I'll be do. Needless to say my days of shopping Shein are probably over. Especially since there isn't a easy way to contact Shein customer service. Since there isn't a customer service number that I can locate anywhere and their live chat is a joke also. You can't even contact a human through that option either.

As it's clear from the timelines when SHEIN simply forgot to dispatch the RE shipments they claimed that it's advisable to refund me first then when the shipment arrives I CAN CONSIDER IT A GIFT. They refunded me nicely and when I contacted them in few days to check on the shipment the new agent replied that the parcel was never RE shipped in the first place! I asked for a compensation so I can feel good about trading back with SHEIN but it did not work! I am looking now for replacing SHEIN and will place a strong WOM on the deceitful way they dragged me to cancel the shipment and demand a refund! After a 2 months+ delays. This is the most painful experience I have even had!

I ordered from this site on Apr 29th. There were a couple of red flags at the time, including poor English on the site, a weird warning about delay due to "Holiday" (what holiday at the end of April? -- this quickly changed to "warehouse relocation") and the fact that some of the photos were still watermarked. I charged $100 (to my PayPal, thank goodness); I was charged immediately but the status has not even changed to "processing". Only now do I find all of these reviews indicating what a scam this was, and have placed a "ticket" requesting my order be cancelled & refunded. Why can't this be done with a direct cancellation (like Amazon) or have a customer service number all point to a scam. I'm ashamed I didn't see it sooner. Don't be blinded by the prices -- it is already a headache for me.
EDIT: After posting this review (and submitting a ticket) I received a prompt reply from their customer service department confirming the cancellation and an email from PayPal with my full money back. So, I am upping this review to three stars for the quick response and seemingly appropriate refund. However, I'm still disappointed that they took out the money before the order was even processing. Amazon, for example, only charges once shipped. I can't speak to how difficult it would be to do an actual return, nor the quality of the products. In all, the overwhelming amount of comments here make it a risky decision I won't make in the future.

I rarely write reviews however my experience with this 'business' is absolutely terrible that I must share. I ordered a couple of items on their website two weeks ago and my order is still being 'processed'. I have placed MANY complaints on their website for many days now with NO RESPONSE. This store is ABSOLUTELY terrible, they have no customer service and I cannot give a review on my purchases seeing as I have YET to receive them and probably will never see them.

I purchased a number of items on Shein in a few different orders. They arrived in a timely manner nearly wrapped. No issues with their quality or shipping. However, when it came to returning the many items I ordered and didnt need, I quit a problem there. When I requested a return label they emailed it to me. Automated of course. I mailed back like 12 different items from two separate orders worth $200. I enclosed both ra numbers in the box. A couple of weeks later I receive an email that my return was received and a credit will be issued shortly. I get another email that $54 was credited to my cc. No mention was made about the rest of the order. As I mentioned before, this company has no customer service. They dont respond to any emails. It's a couple of weeks later and still no answer. What does surprise me is that they do mail out the orders. They can just decide not to do that and get away with it. Their prices are too temptingly low is the reason I purchased there again and again. I will contact my cc company for help in charge back. But buyer beware. This company scams people. They have no return policy.

This company takes the cake for being the worst scam company ever. The clothes are complete junky garbage, not even worthy of a dollar price tag. Their customer service is nonexistent. They will pretend to help you right before it is settled they will disconnect and that is by phone or by chat. They never respond to any emails. They do not offer free returns as stated. Once you decide to ship your crappy clothes back to them all the way to China you are out another $50 and then you will never receive your refund. Once you decide you are going to return your crappy clothes on your own dollar and ship them all the way to China oh man they won't refund your money so not only are you out another $50 for shipping, you are out your original money you paid and you didn't even get to keep the track because that even Goodwill might turn away. Beware! This is no joke. Stay far far far away from this company and save yourself a massive headache. It is literally like donating your money to thieves.

I had a problem with the payment system that had me waiting for days, you can't even call them and their customer service is so terrible its hilarious. 2 times have i felt like smashing my computer because my password was "wrong", and it wouldn't take any card i have (i even called my bank). I put "shipped" in quotation because Shein claimed they split my parcel into two and shipped one top on 04/15/2020 and I haven't seen any movement since. Now, with everything going on, I expected delays but dang y'all. I expected the package with 17 items to have been sent by now. It's been 11 days since my initial order and it still shows that the other 17 items are processing (waiting to be picked).

Answer: It is a hit and miss. Some items are OK but others are made by them recreating clothes from other companies and the fabrics are literally table cloths of worse. It is best to look at the photos of clothing posted by the users themselves and not she inside. I wouldn't purchase anything they add themselves. Also, to let you know how long it takes. I ordered a few items on April 15th via express shipping and they still haven't shipped them. It is JUNE! So I would save your money and shop at other sites even if they're a bit more expensive.

I got my clothes in a good period of time and sure some of the clothes didn't fit the way I needed them too but that's the risk you take buying online without trying something on. I found the clothes to be a good quality. I would compare the quality of items I received to be similar to that of like forever 21 or urban planet. No where is going to be perfect and you have to use your discretion when purchasing something. Obviously you're not going to get this intricate beautifully crafted A+++ quality item for like $13, but I would say the quality was better than I had expected given the pricing.
