I have been purchasing Shein clothing and home textiles for approximately a year.
I found the clothing to be of decent quality, and true to the images and descriptions on the website. Home Textiles were usually cheaper materials and smaller than presented on the website.
My issue is that recently a purchase was made through a vendor who posted an item that was significantly lower price then other items of similar design. I purchased this item and it was given a tracking number that was fraudulent, as verified through my local post office. I notified Shein and customer service advised that I had to wait for the process. The vendor refunded the money, however to repurchase the item would been significantly more money.
In researching the vendor, I noted that all of the reviews on the now closed store had the same review,"item not received wrong tracking number". It seems this vendor sold items at lower prices, put in fraudulent tracking number, and refunded the money once the complaint was made. Why would a vendor do this? To collect payment information and addresses for fraud or worse, to sell my information.
When I brought this to customer service attention, they commented that "it's a pity" and that they could not do anything since the money had been refunded. I had contacted them twice before the money had been refunded and they told me to wait.
I had also provided them with screenshots of all of the complaints, and the closed store that I had purchased my item from. They had no response regarding this shady vendor, nor any remedy. Just, you've been refunded (which was part of the scam).
I feel that Shein is complicit in allowing their customers data to be compromised by their Marketplace vendors.
Shein countering accusations of fraud with pad answers from customer service is an insult to your customers. Advocating for your vendors who may be stealing from your customers in your name is not good business.
Well I appreciate it the value that Shein offered on its clothing and Home Textiles, I now have to monitor my credit card statements for fraud. I don't know if the trade off is worth it. I will not be doing business with this company going forward and I suggest others take this review into consideration before they do business with this company as well.
I ordered home decorating items from Shein worth £360, but my experience has been absolutely terrible. The order arrived in a single box, which was suspiciously sealed with two different types of tape. Upon opening, I discovered that items worth around £25 were missing. I contacted Sheins customer service multiple times, but all I got was an unhelpful response claiming they "can't help me." To make matters worse, they completely stopped replying to my messages.
This level of service is unacceptable for a company handling such high-value orders. I feel ignored and cheated. I will never shop with Shane again and would strongly advise others to think twice before placing an order with them. Terrible service and zero accountability!

I bought few items and size was not ok so when I returned within time frame they lied and did not refund my money, also took items. Customer service is pathetic. I wish they close the business in canada atleast.

Do not shop with shein! They delivered my package to the wrong address and wont give me a refund on it. That doesn't even make sense. They made the mistake. I've spent over 10,000$ dollars with them and I'm deleting this app now

I have been a customer for years. Never had a problem with packages until recently. My biggest order. Over $100 worth of stuff. They decided to use a new carrier for my stuff and not the usual USPS. Some bs called SPEED X. They posted bogus updates on my package saying undeliverable, then delivered but guess what I got no package. Long story short Shein decided to favor this carrier and are not giving me a refund or credit for stuff I never received. My stuff basically stolen. Doesn't matter if your a customer for over 5 years. I never had issues and the minute I raise one they shut me down quickly. I'm shocked to be treated this way. Worst part u cant talk to anyone, you have to send stupid messages and wait for a response. I even contacted the SPEED X, they have yet to contact me, dead silence...makes me wonder, is there a scam going on under the table and stealing money from customers knowingly...never would I have thought Shein would treat a customer this way. But guess what, never again, I will not spend another dollar. Whoever has my things, I hope karma hits you very very hard.

I absolutely love SHEIN! It is one of my favorite places to shop on a budget and find really cute pieces for every season. However, due to their low prices, sometimes the quality of the items aren't the best and the sizing can be off at times so it's super important to check your measurements before placing an order. I've found that at times the clothes fit awkwardly due to their cheap material. Another issue, is that some pieces are see- through and you have to be extremely cautious of what you wear underneath. Most of the time, I am in love with my purchases and they exceed my expectations, especially for their great prices! I did a youtube video on some clothes that I purchased for the summer season and I was super happy with my purchase.
I will not order from Shein again. Both shirts are flimsy, poor quality fabric. With one shirt I wondered if it was a plastic-type material; felt bad on. Both were undersize for the size they implied.

So, I was hoping these items were as cute as look online. And lots of folks call it "hit and miss". For me, it's a distinct MISS. I have ordered twenty or so items over the last 8 months or so. I gathered it all together in my closet. I have worn ONE item a couple of times. Ask your granny about cheap, double-knit polyester fabric of the 70s and her grimace will tell you all you need to know. Only this is even cheaper, thinner than that stuff of her day. Items are generally ill-fitting, cheaply made and don't fall on me like they appear in the ads. If you like surprises and are into the idea that "I'll order ten things and maybe find one I like" and only be out 50 bucks, then this is for you. Personally, I gave it a good run and am done.

I love shopping at Shein, I have only ever had to return one item to them before due to it being a bit small. I have ordered numerous items from them including shoes, clothes, fashion jewelry and hair accessories and I have never had any issues with the website. Delivery's and refunds have always been processed quickly as well considering they are not based in England and come from quite a distance away.
Their clothes are such good quality for the price also and always fit amazingly. I have spent hundreds on Shein now and refuse to shop anywhere else. I love their app also, it shows previous buyers reviews under each item which helps you make a better decision on it before buying. You can earn points to take money off orders too by checking in each day, buying stuff and reviewing products you buy. I like that they do coupons and discounts every so often too.

I am in love with sheinside.com! They always have amazing sales going on and adorable clothes for every occasion! All their clothes are cute, classy, and there is such a wide variety of options for every girls' style. This is for sure the first place I go to do my shopping. I have placed several orders with SheIn and every time I received my shipments within a reasonable time frame. For the most part there clothing is decent and sometimes fantastic quality. Especially for the low price tag. I have only ever received 1 item where the quality was not so great. To tell you the truth I would purchase from SheIn before I ever would Fashion Nova again. Shein's quality is better and half the price. They also always give coupons and issue points. I purchased 18 items for a total of $204 tonight and after applying my points and coupon I only paid $157. Now that's a deal I can get with!
I have ordered clothes for my baby twice from SHEIN and I have had positive experiences both times. The clothes are beautiful and made of quality materials. They have the coolest designs for babies that I haven't seen anywhere else. A nice selection of tie dye, which is what I was searching for. And the prices are very good. Shipping takes a little longer than I expected, which is why I only gave four stars, but I will definitely be purchasing from them again and again! I'm very happy with my purchases! The fit was perfect, too!
SHEIN is an overseas company that sells a huge variety of different items. SHEIN products are surprisingly cheap and thus is why buying from them is very hit or miss in the quality of what you purchased.
Clothing is sometimes really good and sometimes horrible as well as some of their household products.
Also, I've learned with shipping from them that a lot of the pictures they use to show the product are VERY deceiving! Example: in my pictures below. I bought this mirror thinking that it was meant to put on a table or wherever to than use for your face, well when I got it I was very taken aback at actually how incredibly small it is because they showed it as looking like normal size. You can see in my pictures it's only the size of my hand.

UPDATE*** Someone did reach out from SHEIN. They kept me updated on the status of my order and refunded a partial amount and I still received my order. The time it took to get my order with their website reporting Misleading, short delays and being unable to reach them via their website was a huge frustration for me. But in the end, I received my items, partial credit was issued and issue resolved! I have upgraded from 1 star to 4.

I ordered a pebble ice maker in silver and received a regular one in black. I contacted customer service and told them this and that they would need to pay for shipping as this was their fault, not mine. They said I would get my money back. I took the item to UPs and shipped it back on 8/29/24 to the address they indicated. It was delivered back to them and signed for on 8/31/24. I have inquired about both of my refunds and they are stating it hasn't been received and to check with the courier. I have proof and have given them the tracking number. What they are doing and allowing is not right! They are allowing a store to sell an item they are advertising under false pretenses. Other customers have bought this same item and the same thing happened to them. I think attorneys need to get involved at this point.

Do not buy from SHEIN! I purchased multiple items(yukata dressing) from SHEIN and most of them were missing accessories such as fans and belts. I opened a case to let them know what were missing and uploaded requested pictures and videos. Instead of investigating into the matter, they shut the case and marked it as "resolved". This is a company which has no regards for its clients and it seriously lacks professionalism. I am not sure if I would ever receive missing items.

It is best to look at the photos of clothing posted by the users themselves and not she inside. I wouldn't purchase anything they add themselves. Also, to let you know how long it takes. I ordered a few items on April 15th via express shipping and they still haven't shipped them. It is JUNE! So I would save your money and shop at other sites even if they're a bit more expensive.

I got my clothes in a good period of time and sure some of the clothes didn't fit the way I needed them too but that's the risk you take buying online without trying something on. I found the clothes to be a good quality. I would compare the quality of items I received to be similar to that of like forever 21 or urban planet. No where is going to be perfect and you have to use your discretion when purchasing something. Obviously you're not going to get this intricate beautifully crafted A+++ quality item for like $13, but I would say the quality was better than I had expected given the pricing.
