I recently returned from hospital after a major operation and my wife has been giving me lots of care.
I wanted to arrange for some flowers to be delivered to thank her for all her help. I tried to contact a number of local flower shops but it all seemed to direct me back to Serenata Flowers who seem to have the monopoly.
Reluctantly I ordered some flowers from them when they came they were very disappointing. The cost was approximately £35 and I could have bought a much better bunch for £10 from Tesco's. I wished I had asked a local neighbour to buy some for me instead.
I tried to contact them via their chat line and got nowhere. I also spoke to my credit card company but as they were perishable goods they could not help.
I would therefore suggest that you do not use this company and alternatively try and find a local shop or a neighbour who could buy them and deliver them for you.
As you can probably appreciate when I came out of hospital this hassle was the last thing I wanted.
The customer service is abysmal.

Dreadful service and dreadful company. Not based in UK so when it all goes wrong there is little recourse for you. I lost £81 with these clowns and am very upset. They couldn't care, just throw unfair terms and conditions at you without answering any of the questions raised.

My son bought me these for mother's day and appalled when he'd told me he spent £60 on them. They looked nothing like the website picture, a handful of half dead wildflowers in a jam jar! Disgrace. Avoid this company at all costs!
I love Serenata Flowers! They have the most beautiful flowers for any occasion. Whenever I order from them, the flowers arrive right on schedule and in perfect shape. They look exactly like the photos on their website, which is fantastic! It's always a relief when what you get matches what you expect.
The best part is that they give you care instructions, and if you follow them, the flowers can brighten up your space for a really long time. I had my flowers for nearly two weeks, and they still looked fresh and vibrant.
Do not use this company. They used Yodel to deliver my flowers sent with love from my family and we saw the driver, toss the packages around in the van with no sense of care at all. The flowers were very poorly packaged and the accompanying vase - again poorly packaged - was smashed in the box. I'd give this company 0 stars if I could.
Avoid this company. The product is poor and they don't stand behind it. I had an order of lilies and roses and as everyone knows lilies can take several days to open well the never opened and when I contacted support about this I was told I'm outside the window so they don't do anything about it. What a horrible company, total scam.
Ordered a £40 bouquet to surprise my wife at her workplace for our wedding anniversary
Having paid online days before, I received a delivery email stating the delivery window and stating they would contact me on delivery.
4 hours later having heard nothing I tracked it to see failed delivery on the tracker.
I sent 3 emails to the Company and 24 hours later received a standard email saying that they would contact the courier.
Sent another email this morning and had no reply
My wife came home this afternoon with the scabbiest looking flowers you have ever seen in a flat pack box dated 07 Apr.
Today is 11 Apr so obviously been left in a van all over the Easter period without any water
Look at the photo, is this good value for £40 for a special occasion 3 days later than ordered

The picture showed a nice and especially full bunch of flowers. What arrived was about 3/4 of the quantity it showed on the website. That's nothing other than fraud.
Also, it came with a free vase, but the flowers were very expensive because it included the vase in its price. But they pretended the flowers were that expensive and the vase was free, from the goodness of their heart. Would have happily dumped the vase and pay less.
But mostly: you don't quite get what you pay for.

After ordering from Serenta for many years now. I was disgusted at the way my Mum and Dads plants arrived. They were supposed to be in a basked, but when it arrived, it was as if someone had shaken the box. When it was opened the basket, plants and soil were all over the inside of the box. Serenta did rectify the problem the next day. That is the reason I only gave one star.
I hope this hasn't happened to many other people.
A nice bouquet would have been nice as way of apology, but alas no apology.
The bouquet received looks nothing like what was shown in the picture online. The customer service team take a while to reply, and seem to be just sending generic automated email replies. Requesting a refund is impossible, they have an answer for everything you say. I have exchanged over 10 emails with them and they don't seem to be actually reading what I'm saying, instead just replying something irrelevant or something they have said before. Would *******% not recommend to anyone. However delivery was quick and on time, only good thing about my experience.
Ordered a bouquet, received 8 yellow roses, better off going to Asda. Was very dissatisfied, was a special occasion and was absolutely embarrassed by what turned up, came at the worst possible time, would never order online again only from a local florist,
I ordered Flowers for my grandmother upon my grandad passing.
The flowers looked half dead, the water package was empty. The box look like it had been kick from a warehouse to her door. And she cut her hands on the broken glass.
Shocking experience.
I'll stick with Moonpig in future.
Trusting the good reviews I ordered a postbox bouquet two weeks in advance for a Saturday delivery. On the delivery day the status is "in production" instead of out of delivery. I email asking for an update - get a copy&paste response straight from a website that doesn't even address my question. Email again on Sunday - "oh sorry we can deliver it on Monday". An hour later - "oh sorry we'll only have these flowers on Tuesday".
If you want your occasion ruined use this wonderful service, who knows, you might maybe actually get what you ordered.
Ordered these for a sick Auntie. £40 reasonable amount to pay and photo looked lovely. Thought it made sense to go local to where she lived in Croydon. Big mistake. Totally embarrassed by what was delivered and in a box. I order flowers regularly from my local area and expected the same quality. I will attach their photo and what actually turned up. It speaks for itself. I've realised the reviews I saw before ordering on their website were fake. Scammers. Don't order from this Company!
Flowers arrived two days late, and have nothing but an online e-mail service to deal with issues, replying with purely scripted answers that solved absolutely nothing. The flowers, once they finally arrived, were not fresh at all. They were brown and looked poor quality, and the next day the petals were already all falling off. Oh, and the card was missing, so there was just a stick in the bunch.
Still trying to get a refund, but not holding my breath. Please buy a cheap bouquet from a petrol station, as they'll be a better present.
1st time used, Easy website, liked the prices and extras, ordered in the evening and delivered next day as requested.My nephew and niece loved them, although I doubt their 2 day old son took much notice. Will certainly use again
Long time user of Serenata Flowers, normally good service and high quality bouquets. I purchased the Cream Tea bouquet and was incredibly disappointed with the low quality bouquet that arrived, looking completely different from the image on the website and disappointing the recipient.
I voiced these concerns to the customer service team who told me that the correct number of stems were in the order and so they considered the service and quality acceptable, despite significant difference in the photos - which I would love to share with this review.
Based on the subsequent poor customer service, I have closed my account and will not be using them again.
I cannot express my disappointment in the bouquet I ordered. It literally looks nothing like the photo and is so sparse. I raised this with the company showing them a number of photos in comparison to what is advertised on their website and they actually said and I quote they feel ‘the bouquet has been made to the correct quality and size as expected, and is to value'. I'm really appalled by their response which I disputed and all they could say was ‘apologies for your dissatisfaction'. Definitely would never order flowers from them again and would never recommend them.
