It is really unpleasant that in addition to checking the receipt, they check everything that is inside the bag of ross that was handed to me by the cashier two meters away from it. As happens in the store located in Ventura and Las Posas. I will not go in there again.
It is a total scam. They won't let you activate it without sending copies of your DL and SSC amongst other things, and then refused yo close my account when I refused to send them those things. Spare yourself this nightmare!
One star is one too many for this Ross's. I was checking out thurs, 6/19/24, when the cashier/mngr slammed her drawer and barked at me IM CLOSED. Since she was the only cashier, I asked, what do u suggest I do. She stated I DONT CARE WHAT U DO. She then told the other 2 cashiers not to ring me up.I was ordered to get to the back of the line, even though I was standing there almost an hour, before there ever was a line. I am a senior citizen with health problems. These actions were definitely racial & age discrimination, because i was the only white person in the store. I felt panicked & sick. I've never been treated so badly... I am expecting someone to care enough to respond. *******@yahoo.com. Thank you!
PS i have tried to photo copy my receipt, It was not excepted.
Advertised as 10% cashback for the first payment, which I didn't get for our $610 purchase. It is super lucky if I manage to successfully log into the online account system due to the broken log-in system. No mobile app. No automated payment system, so we have to schedule ourselves to pay well in advance.
Not sure who reads this but, something has to change. It's easter and because i wear a size 12 in shoe I can't find anything. There's a sign for 11-12 but no shoes that fit that category. And I understand maybe most people wear maybe up to size 10. There is No where to find a pair of shoes in size 12 unless I order sometimes you want to try the shoe before you buy.
Oklahoma City store on 1-240 I will never shop there again. THEY harass you!
They count your items, you scan them why they are watching you.
The guy watching wants your receipt, then he wants to search your bags. I will not be shopping there any more.
Ross started out a great place to work, but then they would call and say we don't need you today because of payroll. It had gotten so bad that it happened every week for a whole moth. This was the worst job I have ever had.
I use to Love Shopping at Ross but there availability and low Stock on things has changed. The Management is horrible. They have very long lines and usually only 1 maybe 2 Cashiers. Stores are Dirty. They also hardly have Pre teen Girl size clothes.
I have found some really great bargains at Ross. However, most of the clothing there is yucky. You can see why it ended up in a last-chance retail store. If you're not looking for any specific item, you can do well. However, sometimes you will totally strike out. You never know.
It is hit or miss but when you do 'hit' it, you get great deals on all kinds of things. Our kids like to drop in there, too, because they often find the brand names that they are looking for at an affordable price.
There are good bargains to be had at Ross, but the stores are always a mess. I've visited 2 locations and they were both cluttered with no organization. They need to get all this straightened out if want to retain loyal customers.
My husband and I bought our son shoes at Ross 2 weeks ago and sole is already coming off. The quality of shoes Ross caries is pitiful. I went to customer service and said we want to return these shoes and get them replaced. I was asked if the shoes were worn outside. I told her yes. The employee said we do not take shoes back that have been worn outside. I asked her if they back up their product since we only bought the shoes 2 weeks ago and they are already falling apart at the seam. She said again if they have been worn outside, they will not return them. What is the point of buying shoes and not wearing them? Do they expect shoes to never get worn? We spent $50 on the shoes and thought they were great quality because they were expensive for Ross. We are not going back to Ross. They have lost our families business. I have added pictures to show how poorly the shoes held up. I hope this post helps some other poor soul that gets ripped off because they bought shoes from Ross
Had to return a gift yesterday and found out that as soon as you purchase something with your Debit card at Ross they withdraw the money before you even exit the store like most places. Returning the item you used your debit card to buy is a totally different story. " It will take 3-5 business days and since it's the weekend even longer for you " Funny all the other stores I returned things at using the same Debit card offered me CASH! The manager at Ross could care less as a matter of fact she walked up shaking her head no and things just went downhill from there. I have a funny feeling she hasn't heard of the words customer service nor does she comprehend the concept! Lesson Lear's either use cash when shopping at Ross or better yet skip shopping at Ross!
My wife made a purchase of ~ $130. However, 7 min later her credit card was also charged ~ $270. She did not make that purchase. We went to the Ross store and the manager told us a bizarre story saying that their system retained the credit card information by mistake and that someone else used it. But did not give refund despite admitting it was their fault.
Ross Stores requires customers with returns past 30 days to show their ID for store credit, although the return has a receipt for purchase. This puts Ross Stores customers at risk for identity theft. I wonder if putting the customer in this position is to actually prevent employee theft. I understand if no receipt was presented for a returned item, but if there is proof of purchase, then the receipt should be sufficient to receive store credit for an returned item without showing ID.
My name is Renold Lopes. I ordered T-shirts etc. for $28.94 USD on July 24,2023. The store sent me the tracking for the China Post, but after China Post Canada Post there is no tracking. Customer service is very poor. In spite of several emails, they are asking me to contact Canada Post. I can't contact Canada Post when there is no tracking provided!
Look at the email from the Customer Service;
Dear customer
Sorry to keep you waiting. If the delivery is successful, the customer needs to contact the local post office to confirm the delivery location.
Have a nice week.
Kind regards
Customer Service Center
THE DELIVERY IS NOT SUCCESSFUL!
I recently had an exceptional experience shopping at Ross! The store was clean, organized, and had a wide selection of items at great prices. But what really stood out to me was the excellent customer service provided by the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile and assisted in finding exactly what I needed. The staff was knowledgeable about the products and even helped me save some money with a coupon. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the level of service I received at Ross and will definitely be returning for my future shopping needs. Thank you, Ross, for providing such a wonderful shopping experience!
This store is amazing brand names for thrift store prices. And they carry it all from undies to electronics bedding to pets purses to jewelry from kids toys to cologne for boys. Something for everyone and prices so low its crazy. I dont know who Ross is but i love his prices.
My son was employed at the Ross at Grossmont here in San Diego. He stopped working for them after his breaks and lunch became an issue. Basically the manager didn't want him taking his allotted breaks and lunch.
He discussed this with me and we agreed he should look for employment elsewhere.
The manager is holding my sons last check from him. It's been two weeks. I am trying to let my son handle. He wants to be responsible. A responsible manager would have paid the young man for his service and then be done with this issue. Now I'm putting it on social media. Beware of employers practices at the Ross in San Diego CA. Gross mint mall. Thanks for reading.
The store manager in this branch is rude, not friendly, she s like a cold person to deal with, and no consideration to help a customer, not sensitive to help at all. I wish higher management will do something about it. It's the store manager itself has a bad attitude towards customer service.
Answer: Well as soon as you walk in store they greet you with a smile and a thanks 4 choosing Rosses. I have never had any issues with returns and customer service easy to find and eager to please.
Answer: Legit! I shop there all the time. Its like Burlington coat factory but better prices. Where people with small funds can keep up with today trends designer names without breaking the bank.
Answer: Yes many famous brands all shapes and sizes. From guess to michael kors. And prices for any budget.
