I love my local Ross! I shop there every day. The algiers ross has always treated me well. I was there this past Saturday and as I'm standing in the line to checkout there was an employee name Melissa by the cash register having a conversation with another female employee saying she's calling corporate to get another employee fired and continued to talk down on her co worker about his work personal life and how she feels personally about him, and trust me NONE of them were good things. She expressed so loud and bad about the young man I'm sure I wasn't the only customer to hear her. As a LOYAL Ross customer I don't appreciate the atmosphere that she is creating in a place I see as friendly and family like.
Ross is a great store. I love the prices. I love the selection of items at the store. I will buy many of my things I want here because of the prices. What I don't Ike is the website because when I click on departments and click on a department within this section images pop up that are meaningless to me. I wish I could see the products that Ross sales. I wish I could see this on the website.
I returned 2 sets of sheets out of 4; 2 Nautica, and 2 Farmhouse brand. The staffed grilled me for 10 minutes as to why I washed them, and grudgingly gave me a store credit. How was I to know the quality unless I washed and used them?! The clerk argued that the other 2 sets, by Nautica, weren't possibly made of cotton because she buys them. I told her that was untrue as I am allergic to other fabrics. After getting the credit I returned to her counter with 2 sets of 100% cotton sheets. I'm not one to be overt, and say "I told you so," but when I paid for them, I mentioned it. No apology, and wouldn't even look at me. I'm a senior with cancer, and didn't point it out to gain sympathy, but it made the situation very difficult vs just giving me a credit instead of grilling me for over 10 minutes over why I was returning them, as if I were trying to pull one on them. Because they don't have any current dressing rooms I had to take dresses home and try them on, when I went to return the ones that I don't like they didn't give me a full refund because one of the tags fell off in the bag
So my order came to $60.17 and for some reason Ross is the only place qith a national coin shortage so I didn't have the 17cents in change they kept my 73 cents so they kept my change. We use to love Ross but lost my business you people instead of saying ok on the 17 cents kept my money. There is no national change shortage but thanks for ripping off hard working people. Never step a foot in the door of a Ross again
To Miss Pompassitude cashier and her two dollar rent-a-cop Rottweiler, I am not a thief and I don't appreciate being treated like one. Who do you think you are? You "ladies" work in a discount store... in a strip mall... in Spokane, Washington---know your place. You aren't in Jr. High anymore... time to grow up and drop the mean girls routine. Your rude mouths and bad attitudes aren't impressive and they certainly aren't good customer service. I understand and support loss prevention efforts, but you must not be very good at your job if you cannot distinguish an actual thief or scammer from a decent paying customer. The fact that you harassed and attempted to embarrass me was ridiculous---the fact that you were laughing the entire time and enjoyed it was appalling. Keep it classy "ladies"... you are both prime examples of how desperate businesses are to find employees.

I went to the Ross in Knightdale, NC, and had a great experience. Lots of great finds! The young lady at the register ( I believe her name was Gabby) had great customer service skills. She was a very bright young lady as well as quick to checkout customers. It was definitely a 10/10 experience!
I went yesterday to return something wasn't fitting right and also one of the shoes I bought has the sensor on it because the moment I got it they forgot to take it off, cashier young pretty girl was calling the manager because the return was more than 50 dollars and she needed authorization. Manager came and was rude and disrespectful with me and with the cashier. Telling me shoes are already wearing but I ask how they can walk with a tide shoes together and also a sensor on it. She was but people has that machines in the house, like are you rude but also stupid how somebody can walk like that.
Cashier told they are like that with us too, no way to keep this king of people managed with no manners to treat their own workers.
But I love everything Ross store sell, I will think about if I come back to that one store en Beavercreek.
The rating is for the managers but store deserves a 5.
My sister's daughter urinated on herself because the lady at the restroom door said they have closed and the time was 8pm. I have gone there several times and restrooms are always locked and nobody will open the door for us. My question is where does the employees ease themselves if they want to use the rest room. This is at Columbus ohio.
My sister and I were at ross shopping and they were telling people to say whoop whoop whoop when they donated to the boys and girls club. And when I payed and donated they didn't give me my whoop whoop I'm very furious right now. I'm not saying that the store is bad but I'm mad at the fact they didn't give me my whoop whoop :(. Customer service in katy miles store is not good. The fitting room employee's behavior was so bad maybe it's Ross policy that she has to follow, if it's true, I suggest you to change it.
I shop in ROSS every now an then. There are times I can find what iam looking for, sometimes not. Because the store is so tore up. I use to work in retail, so I do understand the store being messey sometims. But most of the time Uh Uh.
I would not recommend Ross stores whereas they are an unethical company at the the highest level, They dont like to pay thier bills, and could care less about good customer relations Thanks alot Jerry
I went to buy a stool that was on special I really like it so I asked the manager for help she told me the boy in the front would help me she ran off before I can answer her she was very rude so I ask the boy to help me and he refused. So I dragged the stool to the cashier and it was the manager I told her the boy never help me and it started in argument she talked to me like she own the place she didn't want to give me her name but you can't miss her dirty blonde long wive with lashes so long she can fly away she really looks like a man dressed like a woman very tall and the lazy boy looks like a Mexican girl. They are unprofessional and very rude. Sad part about it they will have to see me whenever I go there and they will have to see me again so later days trannie with the long lashes since she didn't want to give me her name and she kept screaming at me as I walked away. Here at Ross where I need to use the restroom. But I am a mainlander so I cannot use the restroom. The bigots on this island (who are a minority) are really bad. I am disappointed in Ross that they let their employees be bigoted towards customers.
Hi my name is Tammy I was in your Ross store in Shreveport on Friday and also I am a regular customer and the customers was acting up with the employees because they was closing early. The employees was very nice and very respectful but the customers was very disrespectful. After they went into the parking lot they was outside using improper langue saying how they was going to call and complain on them. When your in retail you deal with alot of rude customers. The employees was very nice and kept doing their job even after the customers was treating them horrible.
I bought a pair of women's Adidas sweatpants before Christmas at Ross dress for less. I went in this morning with the Ross tag and reciept to return them the employee told me if that were the correct item for the receipt it would say adidas. Ironically I went to the shelf and the tag on a pair that were black didn't say adidas either. I went and showed the clerk who insisted I still had the wrong receipt. The only pants I've gotten from there recently are the ones I was trying to return. I mentioned there wasn't much of a selection of Adidas sweatpants for women when I was there which she said wasn't true because it was right before Christmas when I was there. Sorry but leggings don't count as sweatpants! She continued on saying she knew I had the wrong receipt because the number didn't match the tag number. When I got back in my car and looked believe it or not it literally is the same number
They are remodeling some of the stores. I noticed the hermitage store that I was in recently it's a holy mess third I have been there day or evening can't try on clothes. Fitting. Rooms closed always. I parked my cart full of items to purchase the lady that stand at door pretending to be security deciedes to move my cart and put my items back up while I was looking for something else. I managed to get her to recove some of the items but got home notice some she had already pit back up and I forgot to retrieve them. I had a friend work for Ross was mislead about het job title and left she was told by other store managers thet were interested in her which soon proved to be a lie. The Ross at Mt Juliet Store is a junky mess all the time clothes on the floor war zone look. I have over heard a store manager talk down to her employees and have some crying great impression. I am going to stop shopping at Ross been trying to for yrs, but prefer stores neat and leaving my cart alone.
A friend of mine complained to HR about issues they changed nothing their restrooms are locked hassle to get them opened Ross customers are treated as criminals I have been told in the past they pay down clothing to make sure ur not stealing something yet thet told about two ladies arms full of clothes walked right out without paying and no one can lay a hand on them. We have to many class stores to be put thry this. Bye to Ross u get no more of my $$. And your choice of store managers is the bottom of the barrel don't have enough employees it's either the pay or bad treatment the stores reflect both clearly.
