I returned 2 sets of sheets out of 4; 2 Nautica, and 2 Farmhouse brand. The staffed grilled me for 10 minutes as to why I washed them, and grudgingly gave me a store credit. How was I to know the quality unless I washed and used them?! The clerk argued that the other 2 sets, by Nautica, weren't possibly made of cotton because she buys them. I told her that was untrue as I am allergic to other fabrics. After getting the credit I returned to her counter with 2 sets of 100% cotton sheets. I'm not one to be overt, and say "I told you so," but when I paid for them, I mentioned it. No apology, and wouldn't even look at me. I'm a senior with cancer, and didn't point it out to gain sympathy, but it made the situation very difficult vs just giving me a credit instead of grilling me for over 10 minutes over why I was returning them, as if I were trying to pull one on them.
