Restroom
September 25, 2022

My sister's daughter urinated on herself because the lady at the restroom door said they have closed and the time was 8pm. I have gone there several times and restrooms are always locked and nobody will open the door for us. My question is where does the employees ease themselves if they want to use the rest room. This is at Columbus ohio.

Rude Personnel
August 25, 2022

Ross Located at 1375 SE 17th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL *******. An associate was rude and harass me while I was shopping there. I ask for the Manager and some other person name Nikky, according to the badge, came and was very rude as well. When asked if she was the manager she pretend to be offended and was yelling at me and my wife all over the place. This place is outrageous, be aware.

My sister and I were at ross shopping and they were telling people to say whoop whoop whoop when they donated to the boys and girls club. And when I payed and donated they didn't give me my whoop whoop I'm very furious right now. I'm not saying that the store is bad but I'm mad at the fact they didn't give me my whoop whoop :(. Thank you, have a good day

Great store
June 9, 2022

I lived in Colorado awhile back and I discovered Ross clothing store. I loved it. Amazing merchandise, great prices.
I am just disappointed that you are not able to order on line. I moved back to New York (adirondacks) upstate and the closest store to me is PA. I would shop online but there isn't any on line stores I hope to see them on line soon.

Ross can do better
April 18, 2022

There are good bargains to be had at Ross, but the stores are always a mess. I've visited 2 locations and they were both cluttered with no organization. They need to get all this straightened out if want to retain loyal customers.

Ross stores please please please stop putting the price sticker on the inside sole of the shoes you sell. It's nearly impossible to peel them off, especially certain material. The adhesive is too strong and starts to peel the material when trying to peel the sticker. That leads to just leaving the sticker in the shoe. No one wants a price sticker inside their shoe while they are wearing them. This has been the problem with several shoes I have purchased and I still can't get them off. This annoyance has stopped me from buying shoes at Ross and to go somewhere else for my shoes. You'd get a 4 star rating from me if you changed your stickers to tags or come up with some other way to eliminate this problem.

Ross is now one of my favorite places to shop. You can find just about anything you're looking for. One of my favorite perks is Senior Day on Tuesdays.

So my order came to $60.17 and for some reason Ross is the only place qith a national coin shortage so I didn't have the 17cents in change they kept my 73 cents so they kept my change. We use to love Ross but lost my business you people instead of saying ok on the 17 cents kept my money. There is no national change shortage but thanks for ripping off hard working people. Never step a foot in the door of a Ross again

Customer service
January 9, 2022

Hi my name is Tammy I was in your Ross store in Shreveport on Friday and also I am a regular customer and the customers was acting up with the employees because they was closing early. The employees was very nice and very respectful but the customers was very disrespectful. After they went into the parking lot they was outside using improper langue saying how they was going to call and complain on them. When your in retail you deal with alot of rude customers. The employees was very nice and kept doing their job even after the customers was treating them horrible.

Incompetent clerk
January 9, 2022

I bought a pair of women's Adidas sweatpants before Christmas at Ross dress for less. I went in this morning with the Ross tag and reciept to return them the employee told me if that were the correct item for the receipt it would say adidas. Ironically I went to the shelf and the tag on a pair that were black didn't say adidas either. I went and showed the clerk who insisted I still had the wrong receipt. The only pants I've gotten from there recently are the ones I was trying to return. I mentioned there wasn't much of a selection of Adidas sweatpants for women when I was there which she said wasn't true because it was right before Christmas when I was there. Sorry but leggings don't count as sweatpants! She continued on saying she knew I had the wrong receipt because the number didn't match the tag number. When I got back in my car and looked believe it or not it literally is the same number

I had a return today of two items, unworn, tags were off but I still had them along with the receipt. The girl started speaking spanish to the other cashier. I stood there like an idiot while they were discussing me in front of me knowing I don't speak Spanish. I was informed I couldn't return which really wasn't the issue. I could care less about $20 purchase. It was over 30 days, tags were not attached. That's a new rule since covid started I was informed. What ticked me off was them talking about me back and forth in Spanish. If there was a problem talk about in English to me. So trashy and rude, I'm discusted and will never set foot in crappy, cheap store like that again. I get treated better at Walmart. Hard to find good help these days isn't it? Manners are not hard to learn. PS I didn't even want that stuff back and told them to through it away. Trash

Refused use of restroom
December 27, 2021

I was at the Ross store in Austin, Tx on Ed Bluestein Blvd and HWY 183. I asked where the restroom was located and the salesperson told me in the back where the fitting rooms. Well after shopping in the store for about 15 minutes, I went to use the restroom and it was blocked off. I asked one of the staff if I could use the restroom she rudely told me I could see it was blocked off (with a clothes rack) because the person was on break and I had to wait for 10 minutes. I told her I would like to use it now that is why I asked her. If they had not been rude I might have waited but at 75, I figured I don't need to hold my bladder until someone comes off their break so I left all the items in the basket and left the store never to return there.

Gift card.
December 21, 2021

So what is the point of printing out a gift card receipt balance when you purchase a gift card? My friend bought 4 gift cards 3 years ago and the store failed to activate it and Gave me the gift cards to my kids along with the customer copy gift card sale that includes the balances. Called into customer service the entire month and they lead me to wrong $#*!ing departments and directed me to a different company to have the gift card resolved. Great. Finally was able to reach someone today and they told me that they cannot do anything about it because I don't have the purchased receipt. Someone gave the gift card as a gift and they only gave me the gift card sale receipt. Stupid $#*! company.

My husband and I bought our son shoes at Ross 2 weeks ago and sole is already coming off. The quality of shoes Ross caries is pitiful. I went to customer service and said we want to return these shoes and get them replaced. I was asked if the shoes were worn outside. I told her yes. The employee said we do not take shoes back that have been worn outside. I asked her if they back up their product since we only bought the shoes 2 weeks ago and they are already falling apart at the seam. She said again if they have been worn outside, they will not return them. What is the point of buying shoes and not wearing them? Do they expect shoes to never get worn? We spent $50 on the shoes and thought they were great quality because they were expensive for Ross. We are not going back to Ross. They have lost our families business. I have added pictures to show how poorly the shoes held up. I hope this post helps some other poor soul that gets ripped off because they bought shoes from Ross

What a Mess!
November 29, 2021

Ross store in Sahuarita is the worse I have ever had the opportunity to shop at... and I've shopped at Ross a lot! First the store is such a mess. Clutter and blocked isles, and just messy. Then, when I went to check out, I was only the second in line. And when I got my turn, a customer who was in the return isle comes up with an item to return and a cart full of other merchandise. She shopped first and filled her cart knowing she could go ahead of the regular line with her one return. When she got her credit for her return, she then started unloading her merchandise and said "is this alright" and the clerk said no problem. YES there was a problem. She should have gotten in line like the rest of us for her additional shopping. I was in line over 20 minutes and I was the next one up when she got her pass to cut in line. By the time she got her items all done, there was a line that wrapped around the wait line. I have never been to a Ross' that let this happen. I've shopped all over the west and north at Ross'. There were also 4 other cashiers including an asst. Manager, but they were not doing any checkouts. Finally the asst. Manager helped me, and when I told her that I was not happy about this, she apologized, but nothing she could do. Of course not. This is not the first problem of this sort from this particular store. I have had to leave a few times because of this type of situation. I have spent a lot of money at Ross in the past. I will make sure I never go to this store again, even though I only live about 3 miles from it!

Ross Stores requires customers with returns past 30 days to show their ID for store credit, although the return has a receipt for purchase. This puts Ross Stores customers at risk for identity theft. I wonder if putting the customer in this position is to actually prevent employee theft. I understand if no receipt was presented for a returned item, but if there is proof of purchase, then the receipt should be sufficient to receive store credit for an returned item without showing ID.
