The system was not accepting valid payment, forcing me to use a secondary means of providing the exact same payment. I will be extremely upset if that turned out to be a false negative and in fact charged my card multiple times.

Hard to navigate site, especially map feature and messaging. Mobile app is also not great

Great options so happy with that but the site itself needs maintence. When zooming in and out of the map portion its very slow to cath up in the zoom in and out. Actually, in some cases teh whole screen would zoom in and out and the I would loose my place on the left side of the page which shows the list of listings / rooms listed by people.

I dont know why i have to pay $8 to messaging people for a week. Thats absolutely ridiculous. This app is stupid

I don't think I should pay for messages; I don't trust that this won't be a recurring charge that I'll have problems with later

Paying 8 dollars for a 5 day subscription just so I can look at messages is a complete ripoff!

It's pretty horrible that you charge people to chat, there must be a business model that doesn't feel like extorsion.

This app should offer a free version where you can communicate with a certain number of members before having to pay. The cost and lengths of membership are ridiculous. I don't recommend this site and the validity of finding a good roommate. Craigslist is just as easy, just meet up with someone ahead of time.

Lots of scammers and hookers here who are trying to get money.

The process of finding a match on roomster was intuitive and easy - but this whole deal about subscribing is not upfront and clear. Only when hitting the transmit button of my message, when it won't transmit that the customer is taken down the snaky, windy, dark rabbit hole of "You have to subscribe to use our service to actually DO something about the match. It is so easy to display this message clearly up front. IThe whole experience would be so much better from the customer's point of view if you dealt with that simple message up front.
