My significant other placed an order a couple months ago. Ever since then there has been a $16.95 charge every month on the credit card. The explanation? She was given a $17 dollar discount on her initial purchase in exchange for a "free" 30 day trial for a member club, or whatever they call it. She has been burned with these free 30 day trial offers before (think amazon prime) so is very careful about that now. I believe it. She is adamant she did NOT agree to a "trial" membership. Buyer beware.
I lost my credit card and tried to cancel it. I called the number that might have a human answer after I tried customer service and the cut me off after they were done with their mechanical statement. No one would help. They kept sending me back to the same customer service number. That is not the way to run a respectable company. At all. I am so angry I can hardy breathe. What am I supposed to do now?

While I have received items from Roamans in the past, last August. 2 items were supposedly delivered, but I never received them. I called Roamans and they assured me that they would loo into it. Then they send me this form on line that I assume I'm supposed to print out & send to them, instead of just doing it via email. I'm so disgusted with this company that I'm thinking about litigation. Definitely do not shop there. Maybe they were a reputable company at one time, but it seems kind of scammy lately. Gives me Noracora vibes.

After spending much money with Roamans and pretty satisfied with quality and customer service, they are now the worst in customer service. The clothes smell like chemicals and to return an item is a nightmare. A package was taken off my porch and I literally had to get an affidavit from a police report for a 145.00 package. Even then I was told that Roamns would do their own investigation. What?!
Not to mention the fact that the letter said a police report is required for items over 200.00. Mine was less but the demand for police report was made to me anyway. Its been weeks with no resolve. I'm DONE with Roamans. Worst yet, they just don't care. Bye Bye

I will NEVER place another order with this company! Did not receive advertised price on two items I ordered. I returned items and received credit for one, still waiting for credit on the second item. The customer service is terrible, no help at all. If I pay the minimum amount due on my account I will be paying more than what my account balance should be and if I don't pay the minimum payment I will be charged an outrageous late payment fee. Customer service agents are very difficult to understand.

. I have waited over 2 months for either my pair of jeans or a refund for them. Each time I contact the company, the customer service representative was either EXTREMELY difficult to understand or comprehend my complaint. Roaman's refuses to rectify my complaints via email and the representatives either cannot or refuse to assist. Last week I finally received a terrible printout for lost and returned items, I completed it, and sent it back by snail mail along with documents of proof but still have not heard back from the company in any manner
I have to warn everybody about the customer service and the credit card bank, Comeity that services Romans catalog…they are the absolute worst. The worst part is that there is nobody that you can complain to (higher-ups) that wants to hear it or you can even find on the Internet. What a shame, and a disgrace that people like me, and others that I know are unable to order from Roman's or any of the subsidiaries because of their customer service and credit card service. You call them they tell you one thing they never do it, you don't get your refunds correctly, I can go on and on. They barely understand English and when you think they understood you they turn around and do the opposite of what you called for. Please if anybody can reach the higher-ups at these companies …any of the CEOs etc., let them know because they're all living in a dream world. I purchased two gowns for a birth day gift on May 20th & I just received today June 18th. They took a whole month to send me the gowns, of course after my friend birthday. Now they are charging me $9.99 for their delays. Plus while reviewing my purchase history, realized I had never received my bathing suite cover up. I had purchased several things & forgot I had purchased it too. You cannot Ever reach them by phone. The chat window, even in the middle of the day is not open & shows closed. Worst service EVER!

They never send me a statment in April. But charge a late fee.

Got the catalogue and went online to order from it. I put in the catalogue # for the item and the price they had for it was $20 higher than advertised. This not the first time this has happened, but I will not be ordering from them again. They suck.
I placed an order on 10/10. I wasn't sure what shipping method to use so I chose the express one that said I would have it by 10/13. I was charged $34.98 for the shipping and it is now 10/14 and I haven't received my order. I called 2 times today explaining my situation and the first time I was told that the shipping I paid for was for 5 -7 days. I told her that is not even on their website as an option. She told me it will be here tomorrow and I wasn't entitled to a refund. On the second try I was told that express service was only 11.98 and she said that the $34.98 was for express plus 22.99 for the regular shipping price. She also quoted a 3-5 day express option which once again is not an option. I was a very good customer but not anymore
I ordered a blue/turquoise/aqua stripe "big shirt" on sale for a good price. The shirt appears nice and fits as expected, but the fabric is very stiff--I'm guessing either sizing or starch. I will wash in cold water and hang to dry to preserve color.
Ordered April 1, got shipping email April 5 saying it shipped on April 4. Initially said it would arrive April 7, later updated to the 9th, no big deal.
I don't know how they calculate shipping, but my package contained 4 catalogs--yes, 4! A regular Roaman's catalog, a smaller Roaman's catalog, a Catherine's catalog, and one other I can't recall. I tossed them in the recycling. The catalogs weighed more than the one product I ordered.
I'm getting multiple marketing emails from them every day. And if I even look at something on their website, I later get an email encouraging me to buy it. VERY annoying and kind of creepy for them to stalk me for item views. I've unsubscribed, and hope that will actually work.

If I could give a NEGATIVE star I would. Their "Happy Returns" is anything but! In an attempt to return it seems you can't go to just any Fed Ex only the one they designate. My nearest one was 12 miles away and turned out to be only a drop box that I couldn't use. I was willing to mail it but would cost me $11.99 PLUS they wouldn't credit my charge account for free. They were going to charge me over $10 to credit my account! They give me a GIFT CARD! Why would I want a gift card to someplace that is so difficult to make returns. So, $13.99 ti ship it to me, $11.99 to try to return it and then another $10 and change to credit my account cost almost as much as the item itself. Can't get much worse!
I will not purchase from Roaman"s in the future. They are dishonest. I found that they have fraudulent ways intended to mislead or cheat. I called several times for a refund of $270.00 because the outfits were too big for me. I left the tags on the items and returned to Roamans. Called over 6 times and was told the money was sent to me. I have not received, and refund and I refused the gift care from them. I had to go to my credit union to get my money returned after 3 months. Do Not buy anything from them. I will be canceling all email and catalogs A. S.A. P.

Placed my order before 3pm, paid additional 27.00 to receive my order within 1-2 business days. By the 3rd day my order still had not been shipped. Called to cancel order and they refused to cancel my order because it was being processed but not shipped. Will never order from them again
I've ordered several things from them in the past and have been pretty satisfied. Prices can be really inexpensive to fairly pricey (for me anyways), but they often have sales and/or coupon codes that you can score a nice deal with. Shipping can be a little high, but I usually try and get a free ship code or a large enough discount to justify it. Clothes are cute, and mostly decent quality, and there are honest reviews on the website which helps. I find that some of their stuff runs a little big compare to other sites/stores sizing, but I just order a size smaller and I am good. All in all it's a great place to shop, especially if you are a larger size.
Poor service from via their Contact Us number. They put me on hold and hung up. This happened twice, the third time I got through but it was a waste of my time. I received no help. They sent me a coupon code with an order. I read it thoroughly and placed an order that met their exclusions so it should have posted to the order. It would post then disappear then post then disappear. They could not help me on the phone and seemed miffed that I called. After 2 hours of this I finally gave up.
After reading some of the other reviews here I see I was better off not buying from them again!

I have shopped with Roaman's for decades. My husband recently purchased a suede coat for my birthday from them which did not fit. I carefully followed their return policy when I shipped the jacket back to them. I specifically requested that the original form of payment, a credit card, be credited with the return amount. More than a month after the return was shipped I get a letter from the umbrella company "Full Beauty Brands" that I have a credit with Roaman's for the amount paid for the jacket. They did not credit our credit card as requested, but gave me store credit instead. This was not acceptable. We contacted them to complain (conveniently there is no phone number on their correspondence) they credited our charge card. However, even though we'd already spent close to $30 on postage sending this jacket back and forth, Roaman's informed us that the required an additional $10 restocking fee. None of this is stated at the point of purchase. The whole ordeal seems rather scammy. Fortunately, there are plenty of other sources for women's plus size clothing since Roaman's customer service has now become so poor. They have lost a longtime customer. I hope it was worth the $10.
Placed an order, never received a receipt in my email. Wrote and asked about it, told me to check my junk mail, I did, no conformation. Well, long story short, they will not send me a receipt! It was supposed to automatically be sent to me when the order was completed. Wait a while they said, I waited 24 hours, no receipt. Wrote to them and got the same answer, we will not send out a second receipt! I never paid for an item and not gotten the receipt! How do I know that the order was placed at all? They told me they can see that the order was placed, but will not send me a receipt. I don't get it.
