Terrible service.
Impossible to get through. Keep you waiting for ever. Didnt turn up to do job and not the courtesy of a call. Re-booked but they didnt turn up. Awful service. Beware.
I was told a plumber would be round between 9 & 1pm on Saturday and I would be given a call 2 hours before arrival. At 11am I had not been called. I called and was told 1pm. I called at 1pm and told 1:30pm. I called at 1:30pm and then told 90 more mins until the plumber would arrive. When asked if I would receive any discount they said no, I asked again and they said theyd give £5 discount. I decided at this point to cancel. I then received a call at 3:30 telling me hed be there at 5pm. I confirmed again I wanted to cancel. If I hadnt cancelled I would still be waiting and charged. Dont use them they couldnt care less about the problem you have. If I could rate lower than 1 I would. My Saturday was wasted and had to go find another plumber.
You reacted promptly and speedily to our enquiry albeit was late in the day and Gurpal was really helpful in explaining our problem and putting it right. He was a really nice guy. Thank you.
Emergency gas call out for suspected minor gas leak in cooker. Gave call centre details, grew impatient at hard sales tactic for unrelated protection plan. Was told 80% jobs resolved in one hour and told £138 +vat for hour. Engineer arrived within 45mins which started ok. Job required basic gas checks and tightness check of pipework. Started getting suspicious after 20 mins as Engineer wasnt really doing very much. Testing took approx 15mins. He wasted a lot of time repeating himself telling us technical details without us asking. Tried not engaging in unnecessary conversation but he proceeded to tell tales of other jobs. We tried all attempts to get him to concentrate on the job at hand. He eventually told us no leak detected, repeated what he said previously. Took photos. Went to his van a few times then had the audacity to say he was 9mins over the initial hour and the total charge was £336! Seriously £336 for no work other than a basic gas check of meter and cooker pipe work! He knew he had been stalling. He knew the company charge excessive fees beyond an hour but wasted our time regardless. They take your card details when booking so you get charged straight away with little opportunity for recourse when you realise you've been overcharged.
Honestly I'm so outraged I plead others to take note and avoid at all costs! Save your hard earned money and get a locally qualified recommend tradesperson dont take the risk you'll only feel ripped off. The number of terrible complications says it all.

Got this company out to my boiler as it was losing pressure. They said it was my pressure gauge that was at fault. They charged me twice firstly for the call out and then for fitting the part.one day later and I still had the same problem losing pressure. They sent another engineer out who said that wasn't the reason why my boiler was losing pressure and when away. I was told a rightio advisor would contact me but didn't. A rang them up and they said I need to pay another £254 to get the parts. I told them I don't believe that these parts need buying. They then said they would send another of there engineers out. He came and got my son to sign for the job. Basically told me the same again and charged me another £139 pounds out of my bank. Didn't do the job and left. I complained again to the office who kept me on the phone for over 1 hour. I was told they would send another engineer out which I met at the house as we have moved out of because of no hot water. He came told me to sign again which I said what am I signing for and told him what happened the last time my son signed that money came out of my bank and he walked out. He then told his company I refused to sign. I asked him what I am signing for he wouldn't answer. And walked out. I am now taking this company to court. So if you have any plumbing problems Don't Use This Company the rip you off
Booked them for a job at a property I rent out to reseal kitchen sink, change bathroom basin taps and fix hot water to bath taps. All seemed to go well and I got a call at 3pm to say everything was done but there was a leak under the bath and they said it would cost the same to fix it as it would to have a new bath installed. I said I would look into new baths and get back to them. Having looked at new baths I called them back a fw days later to book and request the invoice for the work they did and then I got quite a shock. The plumber who attended decided to purchaase and replace the bath taps as well as the basin taps without checking with me on doing this or the cost. The cost turned out to be over £250 (Inc VAT) for taps that cost less than £150 (Inc VAT) if I were to buy them myself (and I am sure even less for trade price that they most likely pay) but even worse than that he didn't even bother to get matching taps for the bath and basin so has not done me any favours. On top of that when I got the worksheet the plumber put down that he was there until 17:59 so three hours after I was told by them that all the work was done and he was defiitely gone by the time I spoke to my tenant at 15:30, so basically is trying to charge for an extra 2.5 - 3 hours after he had actually left. Their total bill for relatively small amount of work they did was just under £850 and I have been querying this for almost 6 weeks now with no response from them
I have had an awful experience with Rightio. The technician was late (as per his call he was 1.5 hours late) but that is standard so wouldn't have warranted a complaint. However their technician was appalling, inept and did not check the boiler was working prior to leaving - which it was not.
I then had a helpful customer service assistant who arranged for the technician to come out to check if the boiler failure was due to his input.
After taking time off work the technician never turned up and after calling and being told repeatedly he was on his way within 10-15 minutes I was eventually told on my final of many calls that he wasn't coming (6 hours later). Customer service was appalling and there were absolutely no apologies or explanation for the non appearance.
The appointment was rebooked for the next day. I received a call mid morning (2 hours into his appointment allocation) to say that the technician felt the issue couldn't be down to him and he would charge a call out fee.
I queried this with customer services and the service was again appalling to the point that when I complained they hung up the phone on me. I was in no way rude and found this completely unacceptable. I've never experienced poor customer service on this extent prior.
Eventually a different technician attended and fixed the boiler at no charge.
I cannot strongly enough discourage anyone from using this company. A bad technician is one issue but the unprofessional customer service is a stronger reason for giving this company a wide berth.
Terrible company in custom response and tradesman. Had to get a plumb called out due to a leak upstairs. Due to having a baby in the house and having to go to work it couldn't wait so called out and rightio sent out a plumber. Who advised the leak wasn't coming from directly under the show drainage and it must be behind the wall. If this was the case then I wouldn't of minded but however after getting the house insurance involved due to holes having to be made in the walls and putting me a further £300 out of pocket due to the excess. The pipes in the walls were fine.
A few days later a family friend who is a general builder came round to see if he could help out and found the leak directly under the shower within 5 minutes.
After a complaint was raised with rightio as the work hadn't been carried out or checked correctly. I had no contact back from them in 2 months and it was always myself chasing them. After getting sick of getting no where i went through the credit card company to claim the money back only to end up with a bill through the door 4 months later.
In short a builder easily found a leak their plumber couldn't and I'm over £300 out of pocket due to the incompetence of this company while at the time also being without water in the house with a baby due to the fact they said the leak was from within the walls.
Avoid this company.
At my time of need and emergency plumber was able to sort out my dripping tap within one hour, so thank you very much.

Customer support very very poor, when I phoned this company they said someone will be out right away, that was 2days later when I rang on the 27th, I asked for 4pm instead I get a text between 130 2pm the plumber diagnosed problem he arrived at 1404 and left1417 in all 11mins work cost 177-00, I paid an extra 9-00to join care club to get 15-00 pounds off, when I complained they didn't care less, stay away from this company,, all they care about is money no customer care at all, The real thing that got under my skin they charged just over 16-00pounds a minute robbing sods. My review would be 0 stars or minus10:

Beware Rightio are a National Company who use local telephone numbers so you can easily be fooled into thinking you are using a local company.
Sadly I called them out.
A Rightio Plumber came to fix our shower after it had been fitted by an inept builder during refurbishment. It ran either scalding hot or cold only. I paid the diagnostic fee and 1st hour of work for which they charged me £150 and on the first visit the Plumber told me we needed a new shower fitment. I did say I was surprised as it was already a relatively new shower. However, reluctantly I agreed that he should change it. We looked online and found the fitment on sale from a local company for £215.17. He said he would get it and come back.
He rang me a few days later and told me he had bought the shower fitment as we discussed but it would cost £337. I told him to take it back and I went to the same store and paid £215.17. Following further phone calls, he came to fit the new shower and left. Later I found we still had the same problem. I called Rightio and he came again. This time he said it was the mixer bar on the new shower? He changed mixer bar on the new shower and left telling me it was fixed.
It still did not work. On the forth, visit, he agreed with my observation that it was probably NOT the shower and after a quick look at the boiler and Pipes, he told me that he could not fix it and that I needed a heating engineer. He left.
I called Rightio yet again an asked for a visit from their Heating Engineer but was told there was not one in our area. Odd as the Customer Services had tried to sell me insurance for our Boiler on the first call.
They informed me to get another company and send them a report.
Reluctantly I did. The new company's Plumber diagnosed and fixed the issue within 20 mins.
The hot and cold pipes were fitted wrong way round!. He charged £83 including the report for Rightio. (Or should I say Right rip off)
After numerous telephone calls and emails I was eventually refunded the initial £150 but am still out of pocket by £215.17 for a shower fitment we did not ever need and they refuse to give a refund for this
My advice is DO NOT USE RIGHTIO. They also featured on Rip Off Britain shortly after my experience with very similar stories.
Do not use this company at any price prey on the vulnerable and remove any negative reviews from their web site and facebook page
Came out on a Monday to fix a leaky cistern. I find out on the saturday that it's still leaking into the flat downstairs. I was promised they would come on the Monday. I phone to confirm and they said no it would be Tuesday. I reminded them I was promised the Monday and it was to fix a repair that hadn't been done properly. I was told they would be there before 2. I call after 2 and told it would now be before 5. Someone turns up at ten to 5 with no tools. No intention of fixing it just to confirm why yes you are right there is still water coming from the cistern. You need to phone to get the plumber back out. I phone and was told we will call you back. Two hours later no call back and no one there to answer my call. Tuesday I work things round to get the day off to wait in. Phone first thing and told someone is already coming out in the afternoon. 3pm I get told it is now Wednesday. I have asked for my complaint to be put in, a refund on the repair that wasn't done and a cancelation on my care plan. Told why yes of course. It will be 14 days for that to be investigated. Meanwhile I'm now searching for a plumber.
Excellent advice from the plumber and new parts ordered. So refreshing to deal with people who want to help with no fuss and at a reasonable price.
