Right, where to start... Had an engineer out 02/04/20. Job Ref: *******. Arrived within a couple of hours of phoning. Job was a 'trace and detect' and I was assured on the phone I wouldn't be paying for a call-out fee. The engineer assessed the leak to be coming from what he thought was a locked up property. I was advised to gain access by calling the police if I had to, so that this could be confirmed and worked on. He took payment of around 140.00, which I didn't have an issue with as he was due back the next day potentially. However, not long after he had left I gained access through a neighbour and it turned out to be nothing more than a drying room. I then called Rightio to make them aware. I was told I would receive a call back the next day and would likely have the same engineer come out to confirm - neither of these things happened. Next ensued days of me having to chasing up the issue myself just to get someone to speak to. Nothing was organised until 09/04/20 (a full week later), when I received a phone call. The guy was talking over me and had clearly made his mind up that it was MY mistake, suggesting the pipe would be under the floor, in the drying room. I was actually trying to explain that the floor might well be concrete, which it is. Engineer arrives today (10/04/20), over 3 hours late. Again, I'm doing all the calling, no one keeping me in the loop whatsoever. Engineer takes about 5mins to decide he has made a mistake. No apology, little guidance when asked on what I can claim back, just that he will put his report in. Oh and that I would still pay for the hour from original call-out, seemingly for nothing. I try to phone Rightio immediately after he has left and can't get through until I hide my caller ID. And I'm now currently on hold, as I have been for the best part of 1 hour. I have looked into who they are registered with and will be contacting them next, regardless of whether or not I receive a full refund. Worst company I have ever dealt with by some way. DO NOT USE.

I had an emergency with my only loo which was blocked. I reluctantly booked this company after a lengthy phonecall, during which to reduce the cost slightly (to £84 plus VAT for half hour) to unblock my loo I signed up to their monthly care plan. During this initial call I was told on the phone that should the plumber they book for me not be able to unblock the loo within the half hour, he'd use a jet to complete the job. The plumber who turned up was unable to unblock the loo within the half hour, (which is fine, as the block was round a difficult to reach bend). He then said he hadn't been told it was an emergency and didn't have a jet. He spent a lot of time blaming the company and complaining, which is the last thing I needed at that time. I had to wait until the next day, until another man eventually turned up to complete the job. I was eventually charged £200 for the two half hours, despite the fact that I'd signed up for the care plan, plus £35 for the jet materials and VAT. At £244 for an hour's work over 24 hours for an emergency loo-unblocking, with a plumber with an attitude I consider I was grossly overcharged. This company should not be claiming there is no call out fee, if they are charging £200 per hour. I will not be taking up their so called care plan. Companies like this should treat their customers with more transparency and respect. They should communicate much better with the plumbers they employ, who in turn, should not complain and expect sympathy for customers who are being overcharged in such difficult situations. As a lone woman, this experience was particularly stressful and not one I want to repeat in a hurry.

Giving one star is 15 stars more than I would ever award. My boiler you installed 4 yrs ago (badly) has just gone bust abd you have flat out not adhered to the contract regarding my guarantee. I spent two years after you installed my boiler battling to get you guys back to rectify an ongoing issue that I was not able to get my boiler certificate only to be told after the two year period my warranty was nil in void due to me not getting boiler certificate within a two year period. Absolute arse*holes all of you. I lost count how many times I called your customer service ( what a joke that was each time), the number of hours lost in my life never to get that time back now I'm forking out £2.5k for a new boiler. How are you still in business, a meteor hitting your head office with the force of Hiroshima wouldn't be certain of karma's retribution. RUN A MILE WHEN YOU SEE THESE CHUMPS DRIVE TOWARDS YOU. We were planning a nice holiday away this summer after a hellish couple years thanks to covid. Guess what, no family holiday coz I'm buying a new boiler all thanks to Rightio plumbers. I could carry on but I'm abt to get on with my life and form a support group for innocent victims who have been brushed with the $#*!ty- stick of poor service offering of these (cowboy's) ball bags!

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY! Having had a problem with a boiler i rang Rightio who told me they could send someone out before 5pm. They informed me they needed a card to which no money would be taken from it but was merely to book the appointment so i gave them my credit card number. After work was completed i was sent an email to pay which i did straight away (£156) few days later i saw they had took the same payment off my credit card! I rang straight away to which all i got was "ok we need to look into it" heard nothing more for a few days so rang again and again told someone would ring me back... NO ONE RINGS YOU BACK! We are now into double figures the amount of times iv had to ring this company to try and recover the money they took without authorisation. Have rang again this week to be told it can take 28days... sorry that aint good enough. It didt take 28days to take it out my account. The problem i have now is also this has took my credit card over its limit so put me in default which will inccur charges it has also had a negative impact on my credit score which i have told them this, to which they replied they want proof. They say it takes upto' 28days but the money was taken from my account on 28th June... were in Aug tmmrw and i am still chasing it up, ringing trying to recover my money. Wish i had rang another company now. Please dont make same mistake i did.

I don't even want to give one star to this company! Terrible experience, Before they arrange someone visit my flat, the call operator told me they won't charge money until they completed the job and fixed the problems. The engineer came one hour late, I explained to him all the problems this flat have, and told him the fuse box keep tripping, no hot water, flat is supplied by electricity only. He took 45 mins to diagnosed the problems, and he don't even find out the real problems. Lied to me that he will need to replaced the immersion thermostat on my brand new cylinder, He can't do it today as he have to order it and came back on Thursday. I told him to call me back of the price before he ordering, then he ask me to sign on his tablet as his proof to come, after he is leaving, I phoned up my plumber who installed the Brand new cylinder, he told me I must been lied by the engineer, as it's a brand new cylinder the elements shouldn't break such quick. He had a quick check on the second morning, he told me as the cylinder has two immersion thermostat on my cylinder tank, I can't leave two immersion thermostat on at the same time, he switch one off, leave one on, my fuse box became working normall, and I have hot water straight away. My problems has been sorted out in 5mins, I made a call to rightio and stop them to do any further job, but finally they charged me 142.80 for just checking, which the engineer didn't find out the real problems at the end of the day. When I request a refund, They said it's the labor cost, what! £142.80 for doing nothing in my flat! And lied to me I have to replace the parts! Never use this company!

Terrible Job ref 6632579

Firstly I rang at 12:00 on saturday and got told the person would be here between 13:00 and 17:00 yet they arrived at 19:30 which in my eyes is terrible service.
So the guy tried a few things for the 40mins he was there and solved nothing? Yes nothing... Yet I had to pay £166 pounds for the service of nothing.
He told us we can try ourselves as he will charge extra money for every half an hour he was here. Yet when i rang up they said nothing about there is a charger for every hour the person was here so we have some missed information given on the first point of contact, which is totally unacceptable in my eyes.
Anyway the guy who arrived had already worked over 12 hours this day and really couldn't be bothered to do anymore work, as he was trying anything he could to go home. On the top of all this he even needed my help with holding the plugs down and even used the hose to try to flush the problem out. Shoudln't they be bring there own stuff for a job? Then he also need light so i turned my torch on my phone for him to use, so he used the torch for a while and as he got him he knocked my phone of the shelf and into the sink bucket which was full of bleach and waste from under the sink. As a result of this my phone is still saying mositure is detectived and i can't charge my phone cause of this, luckly i have a wireless charger too that i can use for now but its slow.
As you can see from all the information above im not happy. Because problem wasn't fixed, damage to my phone, CBA attitude from the person, Not told about hourly charges, Lateness.

We moved house in October and found out quickly the boiler didn't work, we contacted rightio on a Saturday and they sent an engineer on the Sunday which we thought was great! We were very vulnerable having just moved in with no heating or hot water with a 2 year old.

The engineer came out, talked a load of rubbish how he was the lead engineer and how we should leave a 5 star trust pilot review for him. He only looked at the boiler for all of 5 minutes, drained out the radiators and said we needed a new pump and that he would be back tomorrow to sort it and charged us £150 there and then! He made out he was doing us a favour by turning his tablet off record so we wouldn't get charged as much! But the pump would be another £300

I waited in all day and he never came rang the company and they said it would take 5 working days for it to come! I felt so let down and disappointed as we really trusted the guy that came out. We desperately needed some heating and were £150 out of pocket after moving house!

After getting a local plumber out he looked properly and said it wasn't even the pump that was broke it was a £20 sensor. The rightio guy never gave us a job sheet and drained the radiators so we couldn't of even tried to fix it ourselves.

We've put in a complaint which took over 28 days to be responded to, to be told they are not going to uphold it due to our plumber doing a temporary fix ( even tho a sensor is not temporary and I never asked rightio to come and do a service I asked for an emergency repair). They haven't even given us some compensation to say sorry for the inconvenience!

Horrendous con service! We trusted this company to help and they've done nothing but rip us off £150! I will be taking this to trading standards and I don't want anyone to have to go through this! Please do not use these people as they do not know what they are doing!
