Awful! Do not put in your credit card number. It will not show you the grand total until after you've put your credit card number in. Advertise one price once your total shows up it's literally $65 more. You can cancel one minute late but they're keeping 19.99! Don't do it. Scammers
I thought I was making a reservation with the hotel and after confirming, discovered I reserved through this website, which charged me more for the room than the listed price at the hotel PLUS charged me almost $15 extra for using the site. So my $114 room cost me $165. I still have no idea how I was transferred to this site from the hotel's site.
This site is a fraud and trying to take money. Made reservation by error and never does it show they will charge your card up from t for entire stay nor does it say you will get charged a non refundable $19.99 service fee. When I called to cancel my reservation the rep argued that I didn't make the reservation and hadn't been charged and she was very rude. Paige was her name and extremely rude and sarcastic.
Despite these not-so-favourable reviews, I must say I had a good experience booking with Reservations.com. My husband & I planned to visit our friends at New Orleans. We decided to book our stay early as we wanted a nice accommodation. Reservations.com had some of the best hotels at New Orleans and some of the hotels were on discounted prices because we booked early. We had the best stay at the Renaissance New Orleans and a nice weekend overall.
This business collected our money and tried to run. They did not pay the hotel. The hotel ending up charge the security deposit because the wouldn't confirm the payment. So now I'm currently on the phone for the third day in the row trying to get the hotel and myself paid. Please don't use this business also they come up in the system as priceline in the hotels systems. They are definitely scam artist.
". Only option is to cancel without a refund." the representative said. I was thinking why the hell I would cancel it with my money lost?.
Okay, the story started here. I searched a hotel, clicked the very first one (it went to reservations.com), clicked on something like "check the rate" and strangely it directly asked my for personal/credit card booking information. I thought, well, after this, it would show me a review page and clicked "complete". Then, I just successfully booked it?! I didn't even know what the total price was!
I went to check my email and found taxes and fees and service fees. What the hell are services fees? I called reservations.com and said this was booked by mistake because of unclear webpage. The response was the first line of me comment
This reservation web site adds an additional $60 in fees to your reservation which ends up costing more than any other reservation site. When they send you the reservation, it includes a phone number to call if you need to make changes. However, they do not make changes. To make a change you have to cancel and rebook losing your entire reservation deposit.
Don't use this site. You think you are on the hotel site And somehow you get on here. You fill out 1 minimal page and think you get to review breakdown of charges but when you hit confirm it is all over. The charge is not for what it should have been and then they charge an additional 14.99 fee as "electronics". I will be reporting them to the bbb and credit card company. The hotel I booked does not even see the reservation. Scam. Stay away
My Wife made reservations to Tulalip Resort Casino on October 19,2018. She called five days before check in the make sure all was good with our check in on 1/1/2019. We were told the reservation had been canceled. Tulalip Resort Casino said they could still get us a room but that it would be twice as much. The day of our check in is her birthday and we had family meeting us for dinner and a party. That has been spoiled now. Called Reservation.com to find out why it was canceled. They said there was a problem with our credit card. We checked and found they had billed it twice for to different amounts and then credit said amounts. So in my option either reservation.com or Tulalip Resort Casino is trying to do a Bait and Switch on us.
This company is a total rip-off they don't tell you they're going to charge you $15 for just calling them on top of that they book you at a hotel that they never told you that you were supposed to stay at and then they want to argue with you to make it right never again ever use anything but reservationcounter.com they were not nice to work with their people are from Zimbabwe and you can't understand anything they say when you talked to corporate they don't have much to say because they're not going to help you anyway tons of extra charges
I made reservations thru this site as the app I was on keep bombing. Nothing on the web site indicates that there is a charge for this service (I actually thought I was calling the reservation center for the motel). I am trying to get a refund as they charged me double for the same reservation for 2 rooms.
I just made a nonrefundable reservation, thinking I was making it directly with the hotel. I immediately looked at the email confirmation and found it was $14.99 higher than the charge they had quoted. I then called my credit card company which told me that on my account reservations.com had placed two charges -- one for the price of the hotel listed that I expected, and a second for 14.99. The first was characterized as "hotel", the second simply as "reservations.com". Obviously, I will be careful never to book with this company again, and I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. But I want to warn readers to be extremely careful if booking through this agency --- unless you like to pay undisclosed charges.
Booked a room, and called to cancel within 7 min, emailed as well. Was told reservation was cancelled and monies will be refunded. Week later no refunds, after a lot of calls and arguments w refunds asked to have reservations to be reinstated or give us a refund. Don't have both. Horrible rude offshore customer service. WATCH OUT. THIS IS THE. WORST SITE EVER..
This site appears to look like you are booking with the hotel and you are not! You are going to pay way more then other sites like booking.com because this site charges you additional fees! I paid $180 for $120 hotel room! Huge scam!
I was booking and saw time limited sale. It was for something like the next 15 min a room on sale for $115. I booked and was quite surprised by the total. Approx $168 because of the tax and service fee and then the approximately $15 booking fee on top of that as well.
Booked me in the wrong hotel. Tried to call to get it worked out. They were willing to charge me another booking charge and another nights stay to stay at the location I wanted. But refused to refund my money from the original booking or let me speak with a supervisor. I will never use them again and will advise anyone and everyone I meet AND know to NEVER use them!
Do not ever book through these people... EVER! Booked for a 3 day stay and decided to stay only 2 days. Prior to the reservation we tried to cancel and all we got was a run around. Told us we do not have a reservation even though when we called the hotel we did. Hotel tried to call and they refused to talk to them and said they would call us... they never did. Come to find out they totally spelt our name wrong. I found this out through my charge card when I disputed the charge for 1 day that we did not stay there. Not to mention they charged double what the hotel charges. Their ads are false... its a bait and switch. Thankfully our charge card refunded the one day back to us but, this was a lesson learned. Not to mention the time and effort to get our money back! They are a total fraud in my opinion
I was mislead by thinking I was on the Marriott website and ended up reserving a room at Aloft Jacksonville. Within 15 minutes, I found out that due to COVID we could not travel to FL. I cancelled the reservation within that 15 minutes and was told my refund would take up to 30 days and I was being charged $19.99 cancellation fee! NO grace period - nothing. Absurd! No flexibility on their end and the Customer Service Agent kept reading from him script. No help whatsoever! BEWARE!
I thought I was talking to the Golden Nugget as I asked and the person on the phone said so. I was on my cell phone in the airport and did not have access to this page... I made a reservation. Paid about $40 too much. And never received a receipt or confirmation. I was glad I had a reservation when I got to the hotel. But I am still trying to get a receipt. The website "manage your reservation" is useless and I have been on hold at least 30 min now. I don't think they intend to answer. I think this is a sham program. BEWARE
I made a reservation yesterday and paid with credit card. Today I got a cancellation notice and was charged $103 for cancelling. I did not cancel, I called and asked for my reservation back and they said to bad can't. I think it is a scam.
Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
Answer: Hello Brodie, We have sent you an email this morning regarding your concerns. Please email us directly so we may assist you. Sincerely, Customer Support Reservations.com
Answer: Yes, you were billed. Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. Your company should remove it, send you a new card and assign you a new card number.
