So my as advertised unlimited talk, text, and data plan through Q-Link wireless is absolutely anything but unlimited. Without warning they shut off my data completely at 15gb, then also without warning, my talk service was shut off. Their explanation, well it's not unlimited. But it's advertised as unlimited. Try speaking to someone at qlink, almost impossible! Typical wait time on the phone is over an hour, use the call me back feature and the wait time says within 72 hours. Use their live chat feature and the wait is average of 45 minutes, there is no alert feature to alert you that they are ready to talk.if you aren't watching the chat, it will end within 30 seconds. Complaining to them does absolutely nothing. Nothing that they advertise as a feature of their program is real. They cut you off at random then ask you to spend 3 times what any other carrier charges for services that advertise as "low cost." They commit fraud at every turn. Oh yeah, their unlimited high speed data throttles down after 1gb to 3g speeds. Their high speed prior the 1gb is barely 4g speed at 3-15 mbps. I ran speed tests, after 1gb it throttles down to 250kbps to 450kbps. Unreal how absolutely horrifying their customer service is, even worse is their actual service. There are numerous lawsuits against them and numerous Government actions pending against them for fraudulent practices. You would do better to go with literally anyone else. Try assurance, or just pay $10 a month through mint or cricket and get service that is what it says it is. These guys at QLink are world class crooks!
I'm on an unlimited plan provided by government assistance. They continue to restrict my services stating I've used enough data for the month on an Unlimited plan. Instead of slowing down my high speed data they continue to restrict my services. I cannot text, nor use my internet/data. During a trip using my gps I've gotten lost from the sudden restricting my services. They continue soliciting me into buying more minutes and more data and state that there's nothing they can do about my services which is very confusing being that I have an unlimited plan. They also continue to blame the government stating it's due a funding cut that they've already stated via email/text that this effect wouldn't take place until March of 2024. The fact that they're trying to get funding out of customers before hand is ridiculous. I've been have issues with this company since I've enrolled. It's seems like they're getting money from the government to help customers but continue to try get additional money out of customers for promised services. Seems like a big Ponzi scheme. I'm happy to hear the government is cutting funding for this fraudulent business.
I had qlink and i was in the lifelock program with unlimited talk text and data. They shut off my data and when I finally talked to someone after a week of holding and being hung up on and no help what so ever I was told that unlimited has limits! That makes no sense how can unlimited have limits!?!? This company is fraud and should be sued for false advertising

On the 17th my phone was disconnected For no reason. I was 2. Days without a phone. I Used my tablet to communicate as best I could, I have arthritis, I need to be able to speak. You insisted I needed a new SIM card. The first SIM card was sent to an old Address.Then you Rerouted it to the correct address. Meanwhile I think Friday my phone started working with my old SIM card and it worked just fine until, Your orders, I inserted your new SIM card that's when all hell broke loose AGAIN because I told you it would! 2 days later my phone started working Because I was smart enough to put the OLD SIM card back in.( Thefew times I had service)I was on the phone with q link. 3 times I repeat 3 times I was on hold for a supervisor 4 hours and was then disconnected. I'll repeat that 4 hours in case you didn't hear that 4 hours!Do you think this is ridiculous? I'm actually on hold right now and it has been 55 minutes.3 different times you have allowed someone to steal me from you I have not signed anything I have not spoken with anyone my service is just transferred without my knowledgeAnd if I'm not mistaken you're compromising my information with other peopleHow in the hell is this possible i am a very private person and I do not, do not, appreciate any of this! Anything qlink advertises as "unlimited" is the opposite. I just talked to over 5 different customer service representatives and they cant understand anything i tried to explain to them. My acp/lifeline unlimited talk/text/data plan (that worked so slow the entire time having it) randomly stopped working completely. I called the automated help hotline and it told me i have 0 minutes of talk and 0 text and have used 9.58 out of my 5g data plan. So i called the customer service line (that takes around 30mins to 1.5 hours to get ahold of someone) and explained what happened. NONE OF THEM CARED. They said "it's just because i am out of my plans monthly data and text limit and it will refill on the 1st of next month." I asked them how only 10Gs of data is reaching my "unlimited" data limit and they said it's because i don't have any more high speed but my data is still active. It's not active i know the difference between a slow ah phone and one with literally nothing loading at all. I asked to speak to someone who could actually help me maybe since the person i was talking to just kept repeating the same sentence and wasn't helping me. She said it will be 16 minutes. SIXTEEN MINUTES. I then was on hold and the automated system was counting down my minutes every other 5 minutes until it got to like 6 minutes left… Tell me why i was waiting on hold today listening to terrible elevator music for THREE AND A HALF HOURS LIKE COME ON. Im not a angry person and even after having to recall after the 3.5 hours were waisted i was still calm to the next representative. When i told her i was just on hold for that long she said "well thank you for your patience" Girl… you guys flat out lie to your customers about everything. I immediately switched to truconnect just now so hopefully they are better. Apparently im not the only one qlink switched plans on people after around 2-3 months of using their service. I would not recommend Qlink to anyone period. My account stated I would have unlimited talk, text, and data. All lies. My phone stopped being able to receive or make calls after the 2nd day. Reason being they said I went over my 1000 minutes of talk. The data went out after a half day of service. And they said I went over that amount as well. Min you this whole time my account is stating I have unlimited talk, text, and data. The rep stated it was a change the company had just made and the only options were to pay for more minutes or wait until the next month. Mind you this is only 3 days in. I wasn't mad at him he was cool. But the company sucks. How do you keep sending people messages to people telling them to activate their sim card they have unlimited this and that and then cut them off after 2 days. I wish I give them zero stars. Worst company ever. Only use them if you are completely and desperately in need of phone.
They say you will have unlimited calls and data. You do not. They offer hotspot service but you only get about 3 days service per month at most. Customer service reps have poor English skills. This wireless service is really poor. Only use this service if you're desperate and don't need data. Phones work like they're refurbished. Keypad often malfunctions. Buy a cheap phone if you're low on cash and need the call service or a backup phone. I paid 90 dollars for a phone and it was a total waste of money.
Please do not deal with this company they are liars I was told that I had unlimited data and after I bought a phone from them for $150 they told me that I no longer had unlimited data their phones are no good I have went through 3 phones with them Their customer service is terrible. Q Link Wireless is super mid. I have the unlimited data plan, but the data is VERY MUCH LIMITED. When I'm at school, it stops working in some classes. Today, it quit working, it says my data is working, but it literally isn't sending my messages. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED TO ME.

I've only had Qlink for about a year and the service has been okay but in certain areas of Omaha, NE. I get dropped calls and the last experience I had with them was this morning, Jan 16,2024, when I woke up I needed to call my Dr. and I could only make emergency calls. I used my friends phone to call QLink to find out why and I get a recording telling me that I had switched providers, which I had never done. What is up thith these companies stealing?
I love my Qlink wireless. Just have one complaint, there are frequent times when the service doesn't work all that well.
The only thing I would recommend would be to get additional sim cards for the family but overall very good experience
This company is not safe to use. I received a phone that is giving to me with someone else's information Including there kids school, every penny they spend on their cards, kids doctors, dentist, practice schedule, passwords, and more. And when contacting them. I get nothing but excuses. And the phone I got don't even hold a charge more then 45 mins. Was told I was to take label that was sent to Walmart, target, Costco ECT. To get it printed. Only to find they don't do that. Another lie. After not having a working phone I have had to buy phone cards for my original phone, just so I can make calls. Because I couldn't even speak to them in their phones they sent me. Then send me a SIM card for my phone that was in roommates name. So here I sit paying for something that don't work. And the sim they sent to roommate was for a person who don't even have a phone. So why would I order a SIM card with no phone. After many hrs talking to then I just get the run around. Heck they couldn't even send the right SIM card.

I took video of all messages and phone calls from this person personal account. But if I post it I will get into trouble. But they can send phone it with all this info on them and get away with it. I would think that would be a breach of privacy. They are to reprogram all phones and numbers so this does not happen. But they don't. So he aware of what you put on any government phone from this company.
They advertise you get free UNLIMITED data, talk, and text. You don't. You can only get 30gb of data and they shut it off completely and then calling and texting starts messing up. When on the phone asking why I couldn't use my data they couldn't figure it out saying I had unlimited 3rd time calling I was finally sent to someone and was told I used all of my data up. 30 gbs is not unlimited. Not to mention I was asked personal questions about my house, how I got my phone where I got it, and other personal details and they would talk about the weather.

Answer: I mean they provide cell service not internet that's two different animals all together. LOL you can turn your phone into a hotspot, which then allows you to tether your tablet to the phone and use its cell data but I think actually the only cost is $5 a month that's unlimited everything so I think just about anyone can afford that. But they actually send a SIM card which I believe was for the tablet and I never put it in so it could be it already came with cell service I haven't paid anything in months except for one time $5 and for all I know that was for shipping and receiving. As far as the $30 phone bill the government you already getting free service so you could apply that $30 towards the internet service if you have a provider in the area that's cheap but reliable. Good luck on that. If you need to know how to set your phone up as a hotspot you turn on Bluetooth for one but the best thing to do is just Google it say turn phone into hotspot and connect tablet for Android it will give you full directions.

Depending on your age that was an Elvis Presley song in the 50's or 60's. If it asks for any kind of information do not answer. I get one that say my (department store) order is on the way. If you get a text message and says to send "Stop" to a phone number don't do it. Most likely it is testing to see if you have an active, valid number. Anything internet, phone or text that you don't know who or what it is "Spam it" and delete. Even if you know the person there's a chance when you open it. My address book got hijacked on Facebook and sent everyone on it a virus. I don't FB anymore. It's a pretty sorry person that sends a virus to people they don't know.
Answer: I agree with the previous answer I had SafeLink years ago it takes forever to get it's not as good a service I couldn't get calls inside of my residence. It was terrible I would definitely go with QLink it's so much better in so many ways I don't think there's a question here really. They even sent me a free tablet or I think it was $5 although it's older and it's slow it's free and it does work. You have to make sure you connect it to LTE or 4G rather than 5G it is not a 5G tablet nor I don't believe the phone is either it's 4G also.
Answer: Mine got limited data but still can use calls and text if you run out of data. And it's almost June of 2024 and I am still using my free government service. Maybe however you got this program ei. In WA state you have to be TANF or SNAP and sometimes you have to renew you benefits like my food stamps I have to do that every 6 Months in WA state. So maybe you need to check if that's what your state program works!
