I have an unlimited service plan for data and phone service. My service was interrupted last week because according to them "their system detected that I was in a high usage category" so they shut off my data?! Yes no data unless I was connected to an alternate WiFi. I waited 3 hours and finally got a supervisor who said he was going to give me a courtesy by adding 5gigs to my service. Which seemed to temporarily fix the issue. A week later January 28th, 2024 my entire service Shut off. No phone service no data no nothing, called and of coarse like last time redirected me to an automated service to refill my service plan by paying $20 dollars to add to my plan to get it back up and running even though I have an unlimited data and unlimited phone and text plan already. I tried to explain to the customer service agent what had happen the week prior and how it was resolved and to get me to a supervisor he insisted that there was nothing that he could do, when I asked for his name and employee ID # he just tol me his name was "Michael" and that they weren't required to give me any ID #. After going back and forth with him for at least 10 minutes, mind you I had already been on the phone for over an hour he said he would put me through to a supervisor where I was told by there automated system that my wait time would be 16 minutes …. I waited on that line like an idiot for 2.5 more hours until my phone died because I didn't have my charger on me. Furious so incredibly pissed off. Now is the next day January 30th 2024 and I've literally been on hold through their automated system for 3.5 hours and haven't spoken to 1 person this is outrageous. I looked something up and turns out that they were sued by the federal communications commission recently and they were found guilty of some type of fraud and ordered to pay back 65 million dollars and that just happened in the last couple of months. STAY AWAY FROM Q LINK WIRELESS DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND RUN AWY FEOM THIS COMPANY ASAP!

A I'm a current customer of Qlink and a few days ago I decided to get my mom in the program, so I filled out the application for her and had Qlink with my mothers permission to add me as the contact person on her account
And after that I went ahead and selected an iPhone with the promotion that is clearly broken down in the website, where if you get a tablet a $50!will be credited towards the phone purchase
Once I tried to pay I notice that the payment window kept on looping as if the Qlink system was not accepting the payment. Immediately I called Qlink and after been in hold the agent informed me that probably there was a glitch and that they will research and fix their website
Days went by and sure enough I received the SIM card and the tanker but not the iPhone
I waited a few days and nothing and I called Qlink where I was told that they tried calling me but since I didn't answer they cancelled the phone order and that I had to start all over again I proceeded to order only the cell this time since I live already has receipt the other two items, and to my surprise the system had a pop up indicating that my mother wasn't elegible for the discount
I called wqlink and after speaking with a couple of agents they grant me the permission to deal with rhe agents as my mother facilitator. I spent 1 h 35 minutes from one agent to the other in order to get to speak to a supervisor and after explaining the case finally they agreed to send my line to a supervisors and every time the call was dropped, and I had to call another 2 times until I finally so I tough I was getting results. My surprise this time they transfer my call to a tech support specialist. And after having to explain once more the reason why I need a supervisor I was granted the acces to speak to a supervisor l. The lady was very professional but kept on repeating like a broken record the reason why I need it a supervisor and after going back and forth with her shen comes back in the line the final blow was when she comes back to tell me that my mother wasn't elegible because she had received a tablet.
To me I was clear that since day one when that it was going dealing with a company that advertises an excellent customer service and the reality was the opposite. Hope this email

They have misrepresented themselves and taken advantage of the acp program thru deceitful practices and place themself as they are doing you a favor. Well when they advertise free phones and tablets unlimited data talk and text. They get a hook on you and not in good faith they start with free Requires a $10 donation fee for free phone and hey since your interested another $20 they will through in a tablet valued at $100.bla bla bla. You won't be charged for anything until you are completely approved and the product is shipped. Good faith is here now. As time finishes online or by phone wich is rare. Your payment has already been jacked. Meanwhile thru neglect and total ignor. You the happy customer waits for a preprogrammed steal your information and finally week two it has arrived. Junk slow and is programed to make you feel good about getting ripped off and a product that ends up as a grandchild's toy. Or you bring your own and service just stinks. Hello again, I am here to bring you my second review on Qlink wireless. ( 1) I have taken notice to the concerns about wanting to keep old numbers whiles upgrading phone sets. Hopefully I would be able to answer your questions and concerns in my review. When you sign up for QLink wireless services it offers you the option to keep your old number. ( 2) At the same time I would also like to let you know that Qlink wireless also has a number for you if needed and I will explain both sections ( 1) and sections ( 2).
In section 1. Keeping your old number. I will explain to you how this option works. When switching phone services from one phone carrier to another the only way you can keep that old number is by that old number still being active with your account and name on it for that switch to be made from your previous carrier to Qlink wireless and if you are bringing your own phone, it must be unlocked by your carrier or the phone can not be used with Qlink wireless until it is unlocked. 2. Purchasing a Qlink wireless phone without an active number will get you the Qlink wireless sim card kit, which already has a number programmed on it for you this option is not customizable. I had signed up for the sim card kit the first time And I had to wait 53 days before my phone was unlocked by my phone carrier before I could use my New Sim Card Kit and notice that I said I signed up the first time meaning yes there was a second time I had to sign up. I'm glad that I can share with you my experiences with Qlink cause this company is phenomenal and I speak highly of it cause I understand it. Ok now this is important for you to watch out for when you are on the Qlink wireless account through your email. There is an ad that is advertising lifeline for QLink, that add has nothing to do with your mobile account, please do not upgrade to it because it will suspend your account immediately because you are agreeing to use other services that is not used for mobile account. I know, cause I did it and had to sign up again and because my account was deactivated I lost my old number because it was not active so I had to sign up for the Sim Card Kit and the new number is working out perfectly fine. First thing is obviously that they pay for their reviews. Because this company is nothing but a scam. Their wireless service is decent other than that everything else sucks. The phone they send you sucks it's almost like if you got a flip phone it would be better service than this first generation never heard of smartphone they send you.(I Bought my own phone) Then the tablets that they came out with that you paid for. They sent them to you they sucked you honestly just paid for a paperweight. Also when they switch networks and was sending out SIMs card. This was last year and they sent me a defective one. It took talking to four different people four different times before I was able to get a SIMs card. And for a person like me because I was a correctional officer I got used to being without a cell phone. I still haven't got out of that habit. I just needed some type of phone service in case of emergencies or text back and forth. So when I finally had an issue that I needed their help with you would have thought I was asking them to buy me the Samsung Galaxy 22. They're very rude and they don't care and I know they said that the reason why they don't like helping with phones is because they don't get their government payback. But then I went online and researched it and put two and two together the government that agency that's over the phone companies they do audits. I guess they investigated them and realize they don't know what they're doing with the money but it's not the phones and stuff they're sending out so therefore they not going to pay you back for what you giving out cuz it's money somewhere that's not adding up to what you guys are giving out. I even went on the website to buy a new phone and for the prices of these phones you would think they were newer models and on top of that the dude told me that their refurbished so you want me to pay over $200 for a phone that's refurbished no. So they're still under investigation right now 4/ 24/22 when I'm doing this review. And I left them at the end of March early April. It's ridiculous to customer service or the lack of these companies are putting out and then they're paying for the reviews so it looks like they're awesome. So if you need phone service do your research and stay away from qlink wireless. And I hope whenever this investigation is over with that they shut them down.
