The company's reputation is significantly marred by consistent complaints regarding its customer service, characterized by long wait times and ineffective support. Customers frequently express frustration with service interruptions, data limitations, and issues related to device functionality. While some reviews acknowledge the friendly demeanor of customer service representatives, the overall sentiment leans heavily towards dissatisfaction, with many describing the service as unreliable and inadequate. Positive aspects are scarce, primarily focusing on the accessibility of low-cost options, but these are overshadowed by pervasive concerns about service quality and responsiveness.

Im poor. A victim of the pandemic atrocities. Im surprised the govt even offers a wireless assistance program, but im sure there is an underlying benefit for them and detriment for those of us using the program. Enough opinion.
Qlink wireless is administering some of this program, and is the provider i currently use. Ill begin with: there is nothing high speed about their service except the signup. They are incapable of porting an existing number and Whether the organization is directed to censor my content or whether it is of their own accord. Qlink censors a will. I have experience their "blocked content" pages on several occasions. For instance, when attempting to visit a podcast from a link in my email, (whitelisted contact), qlink deemed that the site may contain "hate speech", ACCESS DENIED. Or another site, Cheaper than dirt, was blocked due to "weapons", ACCESS DENIED. I will post screenshots as soon as i find where my device saved them to.
If you require using the america connectivity plan, avoid qlink wireless. How dare this NGO dictate what i choose to review. And if the govt cartel condones this lawless fraud? Well, why am i not surprised? 0 stars for qlink.
When you activate services you're in and then you can't move over and instead of moving you to another provider they just close you're account and they take you're number.
I've only been a customer for these months and it's been pretty great you just got to make sure you know what you're reading and if you don't you can always find out what you need to understand
I've had QLink Wireless for a few months now. I'm on ACP as I cannot afford a bill at the moment. On Saturday, they shut off my service without any warning whatsoever. You can't call customer service on a weekend, and when trying to call them, I get an automated message claiming I moved my cellular service to another carrier which is BS. I'm now stuck until at least Monday and I'm missing important incoming calls. Of course I can get another provider, but I can't port my number to another carrier without a transfer PIN which you can only get by speaking directly to customer service. Worse yet, when you call and do actually get through to a live agent, they're overseas like most customer service numbers these days (India in this case) and you can't understand half of what they're saying and they can't understand half of what you're saying. Even worse, those calls to their customer service DROP frequently substantially adding to the overall time you have to spend on the phone. Extremely frustrating! Furthermore, about 1/3 of my incoming calls go straight to voicemail just like the old days of mobile phone service. I have all 5 bars to show coverage. No visual voicemail either. Avoid this company if you can afford to.
This is extremely poor service
I've had a problem with my phone from day one after repeated calls to Customer service I decided to just deal with or be without a phone for weeks again. My service is great though my tablets great zI just have to shut my phone off and restart every time I make acall.
It was good for a few months no problem.
Then it all went down hill.
Lost service in certain areas but that is expected with all carriers.
Your internet will slow down almost enough to where it won't work when you reach the maximum usage of data. They claim to have unlimited but not true. They do not respond to emails and customer service you cannot understand them. They restrict your websites. I tried even after a new phone. I wouldn't recommend.
Every things seem's to work so far just waiting for sims card, the phone is pink like I ordered it's a little smaller than I expected but works fine so far. Thank you
I'm very happy with the service.
I was able to use my own phone.
Good strong signals.
You will definitely want to use your own phone.
You can call Qlink and find out if your phone is compatible by giving the EMEI number found in setting then scroll to bottom to about phone. There you will find all the phones information like emei, etc.
Highly recommend.
Promised me a free phone and tablet for bringing my own number and they gave me the runaround till to late to get it n I'm in need of a phone badly with mom dying in ICU and missing calls from Drs and family about it
I ordered my tablet on 6/8 and I was very surprised to receive it the very next day. Thank you so much
This tablet will not stay connected to the internet it is not useful for most things It can be used to check stuff like email and watch YouTube
Save time, keep old phone, don't sent help questions and NEVER EXPECT FREE TO BE GOOD. Service is so slow I died waiting for 911 to be connected. Kept asking to close app. That's our government helping retired people! 50 years paid in raising 4 kids alone. Crap show
Better service and what it doesn't work great inside sometime I make phone calls and phone don't even ring half the time I wonder what's wrong and all the sudden somebody picks up the phone or it doesn't go
Picks up about anywhere and service is great all the time, free service is always good to have on hand
The phone service is decent an the txt messages are kinda hit n miss an the interweb is spotty most the time
Excellent product for everyone who needs coverage signal wherever you are.I use when my other fone doesn't work.
Some aspects of dealing with the company were trying to say the least. The selection of phones leaves alot to be desired.
From day one I realized the data was slow. I figured I'm new so maybe it's because my account wasn't fully ready or something so I gave it a few weeks. Now after a few weeks my data is super slow. Nothing in the agreement that I can see anywhere where it says how they dish out the data. They leave you in the dark prior to signing up. My data is so slow right now it's as if I don't have any data at all. I can't load a single page from the internet. This is a joke. What a mistake. At the end of this month I'm going elsewhere. Oh, and I never did get the promoted offer. They jipped me on that to. Q-link gets -rep. (-rep means bad reputation) To hell with them.
Answer: Q-Link is a scam operation. REPORT to the relevant state and federal authorities ASAP! Reps are scammers reading from their scripts. Useless and intend to be useless.
Answer: Yes you can it also gives you two months free Amazon prime
Answer: It's not possible to talk to any human cause a real human wouldnt do the shit these fucking foreigner fucks do to people
Answer: I mean they provide cell service not internet that's two different animals all together. LOL you can turn your phone into a hotspot, which then allows you to tether your tablet to the phone and use its cell data but I think actually the only cost is $5 a month that's unlimited everything so I think just about anyone can afford that. But they actually send a SIM card which I believe was for the tablet and I never put it in so it could be it already came with cell service I haven't paid anything in months except for one time $5 and for all I know that was for shipping and receiving. As far as the $30 phone bill the government you already getting free service so you could apply that $30 towards the internet service if you have a provider in the area that's cheap but reliable. Good luck on that. If you need to know how to set your phone up as a hotspot you turn on Bluetooth for one but the best thing to do is just Google it say turn phone into hotspot and connect tablet for Android it will give you full directions.
Answer: Don't do it. It's not worth your time. Free is too much to pay for this piece of CRAP.
Answer: To my experience with this company since 2018 i never had to pay a dime if your being asked for money RUN run very fast they are trying to scam you because this program is 100 % free --phone --sim card --activation--only money out of pocket maybe for 2nd time go around if you loose your phone drop the sim card in the garbage disposal or belter yet the toilet but no $$$$ ALL FREE
Answer: Mine dies the same if I go over a certain amount of data and have ro wait for the new month to get data back on the phone. Doesn't seem right as it should be unlimited huh?
Answer: If it is a real Qlink email and not someone phishing for info when the package comes don't open it, Write on it "Return to Sender" your singing the song in your head, huh. Depending on your age that was an Elvis Presley song in the 50's or 60's. If it asks for any kind of information do not answer. I get one that say my (department store) order is on the way. If you get a text message and says to send "Stop" to a phone number don't do it. Most likely it is testing to see if you have an active, valid number. Anything internet, phone or text that you don't know who or what it is "Spam it" and delete. Even if you know the person there's a chance when you open it. My address book got hijacked on Facebook and sent everyone on it a virus. I don't FB anymore. It's a pretty sorry person that sends a virus to people they don't know.
Answer: I agree with the previous answer I had SafeLink years ago it takes forever to get it's not as good a service I couldn't get calls inside of my residence. It was terrible I would definitely go with QLink it's so much better in so many ways I don't think there's a question here really. They even sent me a free tablet or I think it was $5 although it's older and it's slow it's free and it does work. You have to make sure you connect it to LTE or 4G rather than 5G it is not a 5G tablet nor I don't believe the phone is either it's 4G also.
Answer: Mine got limited data but still can use calls and text if you run out of data. And it's almost June of 2024 and I am still using my free government service. Maybe however you got this program ei. In WA state you have to be TANF or SNAP and sometimes you have to renew you benefits like my food stamps I have to do that every 6 Months in WA state. So maybe you need to check if that's what your state program works!
