One of the online stores uses this delivery service. But, all the time, I have to find my boxes because the Purolator's couriers just mark they cannot deliver, but they don't try.
This is the worst Courier Service ever for sure.
I have been waiting at home for an item to be delivered all day and I have been keeping a track on it on their website and also the app.
Today, after 1:00 pm, I decided to contact them directly using Live Chat and was told then that the Item would be delivered until 6:00 pm today.
A little past 4:00 pm, I checked the status again and was baffled to see that it was marked with "Attempted delivery at 12:30 pm".
Contacted them by phone only to be told that the driver attempted the delivery, which he did not, and that he might be able to try to deliver it again later today. No specific time as it can be delivered until 8:00 pm.
This is definitely the worst Courier I have ever dealt with, and this is not the first time it happens.
On another occasion, I saw the Purolator truck stop in front of my building while I was on my balcony and the driver only took a notice with him to stick on the door. I ran to the door but it was too late and I was forced to go and pick-up the item at the drop-off location.
This is the type of company that does not deserve to be in business as they charge their clients for a specific delivery method and then they just do as they please.

Purolator knew when they talked to the vendor that they had no intention of delivering my Christmas gift to its recipient. They took the money and dumped the package at a tractor store that recently represents them near my recipient. However, EVERYBODY else in 10 years delivers to their door, but not Purolator. My recipient had 5 days to pick it up and the store was closed one of those days and had short hours. I called Purolator and asked how did they notify my recipient there was a package to get and where to get it. They said they called her. Only they called a totally bogus number, and then blamed me or the vendor for giving it to them wrong. I never gave a number. The job is to DELIVER the package, not to call and make the recipient come get it somewhere. If I was not tracking the package, it would have been totally lost. Never use Purolator. Oh, and their representative hung up on me when I told her that every other delivery service brought their packages to this address. The absolute worst. They had one job and could not and would not do it.
Don't deliver packages to the door, leaves packages out in open where they can be easily stolen. When called to resolve they tell you, you're basically screwed!
Returning a package to Amazon via Purolator was fast and easy. Got qr code from Amazon and went to Purolator and scanned the code and a label was printed. Done package read to ship.
I had to call several times to receive my order because they were unable to deliver packages correctly to my address. On several occasions, they have confirmed delivery dates to me that they have not respected. I had given, several times again, clear indications that the package had to be delivered to my address EVEN IF I WAS NOT THERE, like every other normal Amazon delivery, and they kept leaving WITH my package.
If I could give ZERO stars I would.
They seem unable to find my house.
Someone is home 24/7 and they ROUTINELY say that the delivery was refused because no-one was home.
The last one, they got my PH# wrong, so it sat at the depot for 2 weeks.
It got sent back, and when I tried to get them to bring it back, they said they would AND THEN THEY DIDN'T.
THEY HAVE ONE JOB. They can't seem to figure it out.
I have to agree with a previous post. This company is the worst courier company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Web site indicated goods on truck for delivery, I phoned customer service twice about delivery They couldn't tell me while I was talking to them that the truck had broken down insisting the goods would be delivered by 8pm 13 hours later the web site was updated indicating a technical problem so no delivery. No calls, no emails, no apologies nothing.
Next day same thing, spent the day waiting for delivery which never happened. They don't deliver Sat and Sun so Mon will be the first day it can be delivered
Customer service told me they couldn't tell me where the truck was, they couldn't phone the driver, couldn't tell me time my goods would arrive. Really not surprised because it didn't arrive.
This is a courier company but they don't work weekends, the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.
So I am still waiting for my package, I probably won't get it Monday. So I spent 3 days hanging around the house for nothing. Despite the huge errors made by this company absolutely no attempt made to correct the situation.
They just don't give a toss. How they are still in business amazes me, if they carried on like this in the USA they would have gone out of business years ago

I'm in St. Catharine's last Thursday I ordered some parts from ADI (about 80k away) when they didn't arrive Friday I wasn't surprised but when i found it wasn't even picked up the following Tuesday I called the shipper who contacted Purolator and they did come promptly to collect the parcel and shipped it to Edmonton Alberta, it appears to still be there. I ordered the material again at a cost of another $1,500 earlier today and looking at the new tracking i see it did not get picked up from ADI AGAIN. PUROLATOR IS THE WORST

I ordered a package from there they said they delivered it they took a photo I never received it they didn't even call me I wouldn't recommend this to any body
We pay taxes for this. When budget cuts will emerge, let's not think too much of where is best. Bad service, no devotion to clients, bureaucrats in trucks.

I applied for a US visa on Thursday, it was processed and shipped to me on Monday. I got a message on Tuesday saying they couldn't deliver because they were missing a door code. I chatted with a Puro rep who told me they couldnt/wouldn't forward it to me at work, but took my door code and we arranged to attempt redelivery on Thursday. Again, couldnt deliver because of a missing door code. This is for a travel document, so kinda important. Package can't be forwarded to a nearby drop, so have to
Go to the central depot 10 miles from downtown. I got to the depot on Friday (a full five days into this farce) and picked up the package...which had MY FULL NAME, ADDRESS, DOOR CODE AND PHONE NUMBER shown on the label. Can't your delivery people read?
There is a sign there that asked us to be polite with staff but when I askd a question they shout on me!

I recieved a email stating a delivery was attempted and no one was home and a slip was left on my door. First of all, I was home and I have security footage to back this up and no driver came to my door. Secondly I phoned purolator right away and advised them the driver went to the wrong house and the representative said they sent a message to the driver stating for them to drop off my package forsure today at the pick up location here in town ( they did not even offered to redeliver it to my home). I then went to house where the driver left the slip and it stated I could pick up my package after 3 pm. I went to the pick up location at 4 pm and no package, phoned purolator again and I was told the package was sent back to the warehouse because of a rail derailment in my town and I could pick it up Monday (not delivered to my home) and this is Friday! There was no derailment in my town so thats a out right lie! So now I have to wait till Monday to get my package, total bs. All because of this driver, should loose their job in my opinion! Unacceptable, wish I could leave a zero star.

You have to be home all the time because they will never give you a time of delivery but between 9am and 9pm.
The worst service ever. They picked up my package on Oct 13, could not deliver because I did not provide the entrance code, and this is where the nightmare starts. I have filled up the forms that they provided, made three phone calls and just requested them to send my package back to the center that they picked up. Did it ever happen? No. I called them again on 22nd they apologized and said we'll return it in two days; again, they did not. Another phone call on 28th with the same request, they promised that they are alerting their team and will RETURN the package in the next two days. AGAIN, nothing has changed. I made my last phone call today, said and heard the same story one more time. I'm not going to call never again because each time I spend 1 hour talking with someone and hearing the b. Ll$#*!. I have tried to be patient, but enough is enough. I told them they should either return or keep the package; I will never call again. Thanks for wasting my time and not caring about your customers.
BThey tried to tell me its Mechanical, than that they have lots of packages lah blah (holidays are over long ago)

Answer: Dont bother. Train your people how to use doorbell. Common sense is not so common. If Canada post, Fedex and UPS can, why cant PuroLATER or PuroNEVER use the doorbell? During these hard times, the lease you can do is deliver the package in the most sensible way. Do it right the first time. If others can, why cant you? We need our packages and not your promises. Your company is a big joke. Modern pirates of our age.
