I'll start by saying that I don't recommend contacting this company. They can never deliver a package properly. How many times have I had a delivery from this company? I had to pick up my package myself, wasting my time and money. Every time I deal with this company, their courier always says IMPOSSIBLE TO DELIVER, THE RECEIVER IS NOT AVAILABLE. I don't understand how they do it. They didn't even try to call me. There's no action on their part. Also, the support service only works with bots. This is the most terrible delivery company in the world. If you have any business with them, I feel sorry for you.
Medical devise for a diabetic promised to be delivered Friday 3 times "missed its connection"?!?!. In 5 days package has mot moved from its Concord location. It is Sunday now and my husband is still waiting. This is the most unreliable service we ever came across.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Purolator blatantly lied about attempting delivery—I was home the entire time, and no one knocked, rang the doorbell, or left a delivery notice. To make things worse, they provided no proof of their so-called attempt.
Instead of taking responsibility, they forced me to deal with a useless AI answering machine that did nothing but waste my time. After that, I had to sit on hold for an hour just to speak to a real person and reschedule the delivery
Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced. The staff at this location are completely unqualified and lack even the most basic customer service and communication skills. I walked into the store with a simple request: to send a time-sensitive letter to Vancouver urgently. The woman working there (with blue/purple hair) clearly had no idea what she was doing. Instead of providing proper service, she lazily pointed me to the self-service kiosk and told me to do it myself. Great — she showed me how to fill out an online form any first-grader could figure out. I specifically told her I needed the package in Vancouver by tomorrow morning, and she confidently said, "No problem — just select 10:30 AM delivery." So I followed her instructions, paid $69, and left the store thinking the job was done. Minutes later, I get a call from her saying the driver is no longer available and that I need to come back to the store and take the envelope myself to the airport location — otherwise, it won't leave until Monday morning. Are you kidding me? I rushed back to the store expecting a solution. Instead, I was met with pure rudeness and zero accountability. I reminded her this wasn't my mistake, and she smugly replied, "I told you the solution — drive it to the airport yourself." When I asked for a refund so I could go to FedEx or DHL, she refused and said I used the "self-service," so it's not her problem. Let's be clear: SHE is the one who guided me to that kiosk. I didn't choose to do it myself — she practically insisted. Yet now she hides behind "policy" and throws the blame back at me. When I asked if they would compensate me for driving to the airport because THEY failed to do their job, she basically laughed it off. Then another guy named Rod got involved, and instead of fixing anything, he backed her up and repeated the same useless line: "Call customer service, or drive it to the airport yourself." No apology. No ownership. No help. I ended up driving it myself because I couldn't stand another second dealing with this level of incompetence. I'm demanding a full reimbursement, a formal apology, and a call from a manager immediately. This situation is completely unacceptable and I will be escalating it to the CEO's office. Avoid this location at all costs. The staff are dishonest, rude, and have no idea what they're doing. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Today, I received the worst treatment and service a customer could get at the Purolator on 495 Sargent in Winnipeg. Between 4:30 and 5:00 PM, an employee told me I would have to pay an extra $1 for her to explain how to do the return process. She spoke loudly, and I cried. Zero stars for this woman and for Purolator for hiring someone like that. So, I went to another location to get it done as she was so rude that I didn't get to answer her. Wouldn't be easier to say "I cannot help with that. I'm sorry.", but she preferred to be rude in front of everyone. I do not recommend Purolator.
I ordered a phone from Best Buy, but I haven't received it yet because of Purolator. They came to my address but didn't call me or make any effort to deliver the package properly. I needed the phone urgently, but their service has been very disappointing. I do not recommend this company.
THEY REFUSED A PACKAGE CAUSE IT WAS TAPED ON BOX HE REUSED A BOX. HE WENT TO STAPLES THE DRIVER REFUSED IT. SINCE WHEN DID U REFUSE TAPED BOXES AND REUSED AND SO ON? THIS IS REDICULOUSE:
A sensitive company delivery, originating from Calgary, Alberta, January 7 11:56 am, destined for Edmonton, Alberta (300 kms), has still not arrived at its final destination as of 1:33 pm January 10. Furthermore, the Purolator delivery truck was spotted outside our address (final destination), on two different days. Each time, slowly driving by the address, then leaving the neighborhood, only to receive a notification later… 'Weather Delay: service will resume weather permitting'. It should be noted again… the delivery truck literally slowed at our address, then vacated. It should also be noted that the weather in Edmonton for the last 3 days has been perfect! No rain, no snow, no wind, no sleet! ZERO Stars! But I have to put one to continue with review! HORRIBLE service! No one there knows what's going on! Online Chat is garbage! 1 hour 45 minute on hold to talk to a human that knew absolutely nothing! I will NEVER EVER use purolator again! Amazon, FedEx, UPS, and Canada Post is making deliveries every single day in this neighborhood! What's your real excuse Purolator?
I have two IMP documents to be delivered yesterday 13th Jan 2025 and today 14th Jan 2025.
I received the email that an Attempted delivery - the receiver was unavailable.
I work from home and there was no attempt made nor there are paper notes outside of my door knob How can Purolator give this False info.
This is the third time I had a BAD experience with them.
I did not choose their service they are tied up with government service like Ottawa BLS and Toronto Immigration service.
The worst courier I've encountered. I got "Attempted delivery - receiver unavailable" when I am just at the house waiting for them. I asked to schedule a redelivery. It did not arrive and was shocked to find an update the next day that "Attempted delivery - refused due to packaging issue". I wonder who the driver talked to coz as the receiver, I am sure it was not me. Their customer support (chat and calls) are just bots and you can't talk to a person. WORST COURIER!
Website doesn't update. Weather delays? NOT! 3.5 hours on hold with 45 minute estimate before I gave up. Bot assistant doesn't understand sentences. Still waiting for my package. Customer service is NOT their priority. Gouging workers and lying to customers is.
Worst service in the business. 1) 1cm of snow on 1/28 and they updated my delivery as no access to road. 2) last time i called customer service i requested a call back, which never came
I always cringe when I see that anything is being sent via purolator
The street and my driveay had some packed snow but it was fully accessible. I walked out on the street to check. I spoke with CS and they said it sounded like the driver did not want to deliver, they offered to file a complaint and asked for a redliver.
Purloator did not deliver my package again. Yesterday they could have but the driver canceled it at 9am. We had several inches of snow today, 1/29, i appreciate that the roads became bad. But they could have delivered it in the morning. Im 7 min from the sorting center and i should be at the begining of the delivery route. At about 330pm they canceled todays delivery due to the weather.
Purolator will now cost me 3 days at a minimum. This is a large, expensive delivery and someone has to be home to receive it.
I cannot believe how many imaginative ways Purolator manages to "deliver" packages to my house. I've had packages delivered to the gate on my driveway, the bottom of stairs to a storage unit on the property. A TENT with a boat on a trailer inside (ffs!), some neighbours down the street (not even next door). It is just awful. Packages have been left out in the rain, on our wet or snowy driveway - no attempt is made to get them under cover, under stairs leading to a storeroom above the garage making it difficult to find them. Why do I have to play hide and seek to get a proper delivery?
And when I call customer service, and waiting 45 minutes, all I get is "our system says it was delivered". When I ask for proof of delivery, I am told that for the package in question, it was not required.
I feel sorry for the vendors using this courier.
Been 2 days waiting for delivery. Each time delayed by weather. There is nothing wrong with the weather.Cant get ahold of a real person so virtually no customer service. I cringe when I find out parcel being delivered by them. They are horrible.
I live in Red Deer, Alberta. I had my package delivered to my work, downtown. I received an email telling me my package would be delivered on December 17th. We are open this day. Randomly, the package was delivered on December 14th, no prior notice. Noone was there to take the package, so the delivery person left it outside on the sidewalk! DO YOU KNOW WHAT DOWNTOWN RED DEER IS LIKE?!?!?!? It would have been gone in minutes. Why would the delivery person not have left a "you weren't here, come and pick up your package at our depot" note?!
If I could give it a zero I would. Absolutely no customer service skills. They lie about attempting to make deliveries, I've literally been home and see the guy drive off with no attempt just putting the sticker on the door.
This is the worst service you can find in Canada. They never deliver your package, I have the delivery guy on my camera. He has the label prepared and he just attached it to the door without even ringing the doorbell. They do not wait even for 10 seconds. You never can receive your package at the right time you expect.
The worst delivery team. It initially send me email that the delivery date was a Wednesday so I arranged my time to work at home. I tracked the parcel later found it was postponed to Friday so I rearranged my schedule. I found a note on the door saying missing delivery after I was back home on the Wednesday. I got a short message on my phone saying my parcel was ready for pickup from its outlet the following day. They do have my email and phone number and can send short message, however, they do not want to bother to send me a message one day ahead to allow me arrange my time to stay home for the delivery.
So far in the last 12 months, every delivery by Purolator has been screwed up. $100+ 'next day' delivery was delivered 4 days later. Purolator refused to refund (again, blamed the weather). One 2 day delivery actually took 21 days to arrive. Refund refused. They just sent me on a 60 km detour to the wrong Purolator depot. No apology. I get home to find yet another delivery attempt slip on my door (probably for the same package, which they cannot find in their tracking system). The list of screw ups is endless... avoid these clowns at all cost.
This is my second really bad experience with Purolator. Today, they claimed they could not deliver on time because of a "weather event". Well, there was none. Scattered light flurries now and again with no accumulation on the roads. A completely fabricated story. Last time, I had to go to pick up at their depot. The people were super unfriendly and the procedures very customer unfriendly. If you want something shipped, tell your shipper not to use Purolator. Apparently they are mostly owned by Canada Post, and based on the attitudes and efficiency of their staff, I believe it.
Answer: Same answer, NO I CAN'T say anything good about the worst shipper in Canada if not the world.
Answer: Dont bother. Train your people how to use doorbell. Common sense is not so common. If Canada post, Fedex and UPS can, why cant PuroLATER or PuroNEVER use the doorbell? During these hard times, the lease you can do is deliver the package in the most sensible way. Do it right the first time. If others can, why cant you? We need our packages and not your promises. Your company is a big joke. Modern pirates of our age.
Answer: Might as well be a scam. They cannot perform what they say they can.
