Waste of time

Terrible service, did not deliver package, kept saying that they did deliver it. They sent it back and every time I tried to get someone to pay attention I received the same blank "it was delivered" answer.

Really the worst courier for delivering to rural areas. All others seem to be pretty convenient. Not Purolator.

Terrible service
November 18, 2022

Every shipment from eastern Canada comes with "Delayed due to missed connection". If you try to call - either you can't get through. If you use Chat support - it doesn't work. If you are lucky and get to contact someone, the attitude is they really don't care that your package is going to be VERY late.

I've been waiting 5 days now for my package. It was supposed to be here friday. Today is tuesday. So i might get my package LATER. They can't even send you an email to say when I'll get my package. This is the second time this happened to me with this company.
If I could put zero stars, I would.

It is the worst delivery company EVER
Avoid, avoid, avoid PUROLATOR by all means! Liars. Not even trying to deliver. Only stupid excuses.
6 days passed, and I still haven't got my parcel, it shows that it is in a city without any movement.
I have been calling every day to inquire as of why it's not delivered. No help from customer service either. Only promises. VERY FRUSTRATING

Worst service ever from a delivery company. I have had them on multiple occasions delivering stuff. They do no consider that their customers could possibly have disabilities, be sick, or do not have cars to pick up their packages from locations from their "failed delivery". They lie and do not even attempt to deliver. I have seen it on multiple occasions. They are frauds and do no deserve any business. But sadly they are linked with Canada post for some reason I do no understand. They just love to waste peoples time.

Notified this morning my package was on delivery truck and is going to be delivered today. But getting snow storm here and delivery won't happen. Contents of my package are cold sensitive. No way to contact Purolator to ask that package not left on truck over night outside. Contents value is $500. Contacted Purolator Website and they said there is no way to talk to call or contact local Purolator depot to try and have package put indoors over night...Disgraceful customer service.

They will invent any and all excuses to not deliver your package when they don't feel like it. Inacessible, address not found, attempted etc. Well excuse me, customers are not all 3 year olds. I have CCTV and there is absolutely no attempt. My address has existed for more than 40 years, I've received packages regularly from other carriers, "not found"? Perhaps they might have heard of something called the Internet and google maps gps? I heard it's coming soon to Purolator.
Get real, people. The drivers get paid to eat donuts and drink coffee: they can find them easily without the internet.

So far its taken 2 weeks to get a package delivered within the same province! And it cost $20 more than canada post.
They also conveniently suspend the delivery gaurantee when they get busy.
Poor business practices don't use unless you have NO other choice... seriously try a carrier pigeon first!

I ordered a package from BC and they shipped through Purolator.for 6 days, my package showed that it was in Tacoma without any movement. And when I requested to speak to an agent they told me that they could not track the package.
After 7 days it finally arrived in Florida Jacksonville.
After it got to Longwood it showed that it was out for delivery but even then you still could not track exactly where the package was, there was no estimated delivery date either, it was just absolutely ridiculous.
I'm so disappointed and honestly upset because this was the most anxiety inducing shipment I've ever had to wait for.

Ordered an online item. 45 minutes drive for delivery from seller to my house. Website tracking indicated to be delivered the next day. Still have not recieved after 3 days. Tracking says 'delayed due to pandemic'. What a lame excuse, pandemic has been there for 15 months now... adjust like everybody has. They cannot locate it and say i cannot access the package (as i offered to pick it up myself since they don't seem to be able to deliver it). My bad for paying extra VS other carrier. Never again. Just pathetic.

Many years old I chose to avoid using Purolator at all costs when they couldn't even deliver an ink cartridge to the house. Fast forward 15 years and my recent experience exactly mirrors the past, no delivery, no notice, no communication, impossible to reach customer service--likely because there isn't any. Unfortunately, I will also abandon the online companies that use their services as well and hope some of those companies think twice before using their inferior services.

Unfortunately one of the bad company in my experience. Never try to reach to the customer only posted that customer is not available. This is what they do their business and ruins others day while waiting.
No way to reach customer service. No way to talk to them, employees at pickup location get annoyed if you ask them how to resolve this issue.

Purolator is by far the worst courier in Canada
They will damage or lose half of your orders, just an un-organized huge company
Loomis isn't much better, but they are better
Canada Post is much better...maybe more $...but hey...its nice to have my goods

Delivery always late. Ended up going to depot to 3 time in a row to pickup the package by my self even i paid for extra fee for faster shipping. Driver will make a reschedule delivery request for you. Could'nt even deliver a pair of RCA cable.

I have never had Purolator actually buzz my apartment to deliver a package.

I even called one time, had the rep confirm the driver was told to buzz, put a sign on the door to buzz and watched out the window all day and he STILL tried to drive away without even getting out of his truck. I literally chased him down as he started the vehicle to get my package.

If they would put in even an iota of effort to buzz the number on the package, that would be great.

But as it stands, I weep everytime something I order has the misfortune of being handled by Purolator.

I was expecting to receive a package from Purolator this morning. I was at home and the driver didn't bother to knock at the door not ring the door bell. He left delivery attempted notice on my door and I see package will be ready for pickup on 07/09 at nearby Purolator location to my house. Upon seeing this notice, I tried to contact chat representative and discussed about this issue and she said unfortunately she cannot help other than putting complain against the driver. I asked to at least make it available for pickup today to nearby Purolator location but she could not help. This is frustrating and pathetic service from Purolator. I lost my entire day without the package and it was very urgent for me to receive the package. Better to shut down such companies if they cannot provide good service. Nasty.

Often late, missed target date repeatively. Driver threw parcel in walkway, 2 yards from door. I filed complaints to Amazon but they still use Purolator. Use them only if your time is not important. The last order, took 14 hours from Toronto to Vancouver, but it took 34 hours from item put in truck to deliver to our address, 8.4km away.

This is the worst service I've ever experienced. I've never chosen any of my purchase to be delivered by this joke of a company, but my employer and some other stores use their service. What is the purpose of delivery if neither of couriers can even press the doorbell button? How the **** I'm supposed to know you've arrived? Should I be waiting days on my porch to not miss delivery? This is nonsense. Absolutely disgusting service. Iʼve lived in 3 different countries and this is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I'll make sure to let all my partners know that they should avoid any business with Purolator.

They don't knock.

I was literally sitting here doing nothing since I woke up waiting for my new phone to arrive when I suddenly get a text saying that I missed the delivery. I check my front door and they put the sticker on it that says I need to go pick it up later today. This is the SECOND time they've done this. DHL is so much better. Next time my delivery is coming from Purolator I will literally sit at the front door to check for footsteps because they never ever knock.

The guy didn't try to reach me, no calls or trying the buzzer. Just said receiver unavailable, even though I cancelled my plans and stayed back home the whole day. And to top it all when I'm trying to reach out to them, they have a 45 mins estimated wait time for talking with an agent.
