Anytime I have used Purolator as my courier company I have been disappointed. I am at home and the courier doesn't wait enough time for me to get to my door and retrieve my package. The courier leaves and then I am told I have to pick up my item at a location that is 30 minutes away. What is the point of having a package delivered if I have to leave my home, drive for 30 minutes and wait the next day to get it! Also, there are several purolators around me but I have to travel far to get my package. This is terrible service. I will never use this company again.
If only I knows if I order from BestBuy that they'd have the cheapest delivery service. I would NOT have ordered anything from their website. I order from Amazon I get it same week Purolator on the other hand…. Awful slow service.
I received a notice on my door from Pulolator saying my package (A Dell desktop computer) was available for pick up. I was told I would need Valid government issued ID. Or I would not be able to pick it up. I went to pick it up and was told by the lady working there that she had already given my package to someone who DID NOT have valid government issued ID. Her claim was that someone had come there with my reference number and showed her a picture on his phone of a license that had my name and address and his picture (likely a photo- shopped license that anyone can make). This is NOT Valid ID so why would she give it to this person?. I was told I could only get this item if I had ID which I do. But her claim is she gave it to someone who didn't have the paper notice that was left on my door and didn't have ID. Now Purolator refuses to help me or take responsibility. Meanwhile I'm out $1300. What a joke!
You need to avoid this company at all cost. Lazy and rude courrier worker that will not call in order to deliver your paquet and will never get to the door deliver your parcel. They expect you to wait on the road all day for your parcel in order to retrieve it. No call. They expect you to advertise your buzzer code online so that any thief can get in your house.
Customer service will make you wait for hour before telling you they can not do anything for you.
I never received a good service from them. If you can avoid them, do it.
I have ordered a couple of things on Amazon some of the products arrived on time with Intelcom and other delivery companies except Purolator every time I expect my order to arrive they always text "delivery attempted" this is like the 5th time they tried they come up with an excuse that the address is not completed if it's not completed then how come other delivery companies are being able to deliver the products on time and to the right location. And I also called the Purolator company no one answers your call.
Since the year 2014 they have changed and became one of the worst delivery company. They will never deliver to you the item and will say " MISSING ENTRY CODE" or no one was at home. They will force you to rearrange for pick up at one of their locations which you will suffer for 2 or 3 days delays and etc. Stay away from this garbage company.
Whoever uses PUROLATOR please run when trying to put a claim in - do not ever deal with them they like to rob you of your money - so that is why they get higher salary than most people - do not deal with Faye Mitton - shall deny your claims - keep losing our stuff Purolator - giving you a 1,000 star rating for the worse if their was one I would give that to you for being a money grabber company
I was suppose to get a package on Thursday. They couldn't find my address and I thought fine, my house is quite new. So I called and got my address validated. Monday they finally said it was on the way, so I was hoping to get it today (Tuesday) as by 9:30am they said it was on vehicle for delivery.
I waited all day and by 6:10pm they updated my shipment and said AGAIN they couldn't find my address. This is BS. I've ordered items on Amazon and they had no problem finding my address.
Will never ever ever use Purolator again. The worst.
The person simply came to our building and because I hadn't given them a password to enter our building on their own, he just turned back and left, no message, no call. I had written as instruction to simply call me and I'll open the door remotely but they don't even care, for some reason they just rather make you wait and keep contacting them to try to solve the issue, the customer support is also pretty $#*!ty.

Purolator was excellent until the old driver retired. Now we have parcels dropped at a depot 20 miles from the address on parcel. Latest parcel is held somewhere, we don't know where
I don't generally complain about anything but I have to say my experience with purolator definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. I ordered a tv to replace my old one through Amazon and was informed it would arrive by the 20th of January. By the 25th of January it still hadn't arrived. Purolator kept telling me they had the incorrect address which I find difficult to believe because my other amazon deliveries arrived before and after without issue. I even updated my address with Purolator TWICE but they continued to tell me that they could not deliver due to a wrong address? I've come to the conclusion that they use this practice to cover delays on their end. I would not have written this negative review if they had just been honest from the get go and told me that they were back logged and wouldn't be able to make the delivery date.
EVERYTIME we have a package they delay the package and say we were not home. This driver hates us after I asked him NOT to back his very long truck into my residential driveway (does not fit either)

The driver came by i missed him so when I called to make arrangements for my meds because I needed them they didn't do anything, the driver says he came back to deliver them and he didnt. The office never did anything they said they would on the phone, amd today when I called again they said sorry go buy new ones or wait til Monday... very unprofessional and I will NEVER use this company again UPS delivers on weekends definitely go with them!
Purolator is the worst of the worst! I've waited for my parcel from Ontario to be delivered in Calgary since 24 April. It's been sitting in Calgary since May 5. Today is May, 16. They say that, because of Covid-19, there will be a one to three-day delay on deliveries. I'm okay with that, but over THREE WEEKS? Yesterday, finally, I received an email from them, saying my parcel is out for delivery. I was SO happy and I did not step a foot anywhere so I could be here when the driver arrived. At 6pm I realized it would not happen. I looked at my email and saw "Your parcel was delivered". Seriously? There was no parcel at MY front door, so where did it go? I immediately phoned a supervisor of Purolator and he casually informed me that I'll only be able to contact the "tracing team" on Monday and it could take two days or longer for them to trace my parcel. From all the negative reviews about this company on Google, I'm clearly not the only one who thinks they are terribly inefficient and unreliable. But why do individuals and companies keep on using their services? They should not be in business! Their motto is: "Purolator. It's not a package. It's a promise." What a lie! What a JOKE!
Next time when I order anything online, I'll make sure the seller will NOT use Purolator as a shipper. If they do, I'll buy elsewhere.

My mechanic needs this Small, Light Package containing a Camshaft Sensor to get my car fixed... And I can't get my car till they deliver. I have been calling EVERY DAY to inquire as of why it's not delivered. It's now Friday and it's still not delivered. I am sure people at customer service are thinking to themselves why they work in such an incompetent place... They make the worst noname carriers look like a gold standard. They are seriously offensively bad. If you buy something that goes Local carrier (post canada or USPS) or Purolator which claims would be faster... go with the cheaper option because at least they actually do their F****** Job.
They SUCK! UNRELIABLE! They messed up my order and was delayed 3 days! They sent to the wrong apartment number I was waiting all day nobody buzzed then the status updated said delivery attempt left message with instructions! I called them twice and they had corrected the apt number they said will be delivered the following day! Then I got a notification saying it is ready for pick up! Never got delivered that day so i went to pick it up but they said it will be delivered the following day AGAIN! And won't release it to me! Then promised to deliver at earliest 1030am! Guess what they delivered at 12:35 guy said they were never told to deliver it the earliest! They are incompetent unreliable and useless! NEVER USE PUROLATOR! They charge too much with for the hassle! They really suck! TO WINNIPEG BASED IN SARGENT!
A package left the original facility and because it's only 30km, it shoudl have been deliverd the day after... BUT instead of beinp out for deliverey it went back to the originla facility (they don't even know how this happened). Calling them: we can't do anything the package will be delayed. It must have been misrouted so there is nothing we can do. The worst experience both for shipping and for customer service! I'd like to put -10 stars but i can't
My nomination for worst customer service ever goes to Purolator Courier of Canada. I called them to have a large package picked up in Canada and brought to me in the U.S. I requested Ground Service at $57, because Express was around $400. Before I hung up, I double-checked "That's going to be Ground service, right?" and was assured it would be.
When the driver went to pick up the package, he did not communicate any of this information. He made the sender fill out the waybill, which does not display an option for Ground Service. Instead it reads "U.S. Deferred", which is Purolator secret code for Ground. After the sender checked off Express service by mistake, he didn't correct them.
Now Purolator is claiming the waybill has precedence over my phone request, even though they knew it was a mistake. I can't afford $400 for a shipment, so I refused receipt of the package. They are returning it to the sender and are going to try to bill the sender for the return. How are these people still in business?
Horrible company, I have a package that was supposed to be delivered by January 10th. It arrived in Winnipeg which is 350km from me on January 5th and hasn't moved since according to tracking. 17 days later I still don't have it even after having a trace put on it. Then they send me an email stating how there is delays happening etc, which doesn't tell me anything. What 350 km away and it can't make it to me in 17 days and counting? Purolator is the worst shipping company I have ever dealt with. I will now be posting a review with the better business bureau. They should be accountable for their screw ups. Now I have emailed them a few times and no response, no mention of what's going on with the trace at all. Where's my package Purolator? Or a refund? After reading all the other reviews I have come to realize how useless Purolator is and agree with other reviews that they should not be in business. I wish I could give less than 1 star because they are not even worth one. I do not recommend Purolator to anyone, go elsewhere.
Worst delivery system ever - they leave you a piece of paper telling you to go pick up your item they don't even try again. If you call them to try to reschedule, you are on hold for over an hour. They don't deliver your items - they deliver pieces of paper. COMPANIES:. PLEASE STOP USING PUROLATOR! USE Intelcom or canada post instead….

Answer: Dont bother. Train your people how to use doorbell. Common sense is not so common. If Canada post, Fedex and UPS can, why cant PuroLATER or PuroNEVER use the doorbell? During these hard times, the lease you can do is deliver the package in the most sensible way. Do it right the first time. If others can, why cant you? We need our packages and not your promises. Your company is a big joke. Modern pirates of our age.
