Purolator is the worst ever I had to deal with and it wasn't even my choice but the company I ordered from. I ordered the same thing online for the second time and even the first time They stated it was delivered to me and it never happened but they did the same the second time. I phoned customer service but the guy did not even know what he was talking about and said there is no mistake on their part. So I ask where is my package. He was not about to solve any problem but said the sending company told them not to ask for a signature just leave it. What a bunch of bologna are you in Kindergarten or something? What a stupid thing to say. As I looked at their reviews in general others have issues with these useless people hence the bad reviews. I will tell everyone I know about this make sure they never have to go through what I did. Also will be complaining to business bureau.
They left me a paper asking to go pick up my package. Went two consecutive days and package is not there. Check online and it was in another location (different from the paper and very far from my address). Asked for redelivery and package is still in the same location and I can't get a hold of them.
The package was supposed be tickets to an event. The event has already finished. I had to buy tickets at the venue out of pocket because I never received my tickets from purolator!
I wasn't home the day of the delivery attempt. The package was to be held for five business days at their location over a half hour drive away. Their hours of pick up: Monday to Friday 9-5 which I was working everyday. I tried calling multiple times to reschedule a delivery but each time the wait was over thirty minutes. The automated answering said that they could send a link to my mobile device but failed each try.
A waste of my time. A frustration. No service. No delivery.
Lonsdale branch in Vancouver, BC was supposed to send my package to my place, but they just sent me a message to pick up my package at their place. When I asked them why they didn't send it to me, they just answered maybe our drivers were busy!
Hello, I have a complaint about the fact that this is the 5ft time that I've been at home waiting for the delivery and I got the email saying that you passed by, but nobody was answering the door. Then I have to go do the pickup 30 minutes from my place. My postal code is H2K2Y7. I am very disappointed with the deficient quality of the service that you are offering.
Purolator is a nightmare and they are bad for business. Use them if you don't need your package in a year and just have money to throw away.
They had input a wrong delivery address to my shipment, noticed immediately I received shipment details and notify them of the error. After a whole week, they didn't update the change in two different sorting facility and the shipment still went to the wrong address.
As if that wasn't enough headache, they have the worst customer service I have seen in my life. While an angry customer should be the one yelling, there Service agent was the one ranting and yelling at me on the phone. I wish I could give Zero (0) rating to this deadass piece of $#*!
Friday, January 27, Purolator delivered to my home a package worth $800 in a completely smashed box (see photo of the box). Half of the parts (automotive) are missing in it. I fill out an inquiry request and a claim request. A few days later I am rewritten that my requests are refused because it is a package delivered without a signature and Purolator is NOT RESPONSIBLE for EVERYTHING. I now have to take long steps with the sender when it is in no way his fault.
Unacceptable. I want to inform as many people as possible about this kind of injustice. My case will be revealed on as many platforms as possible to expose the questionable policies of Purolator, a carrier to be absolutely avoided.
Worst possible mailing system. I am completely sure that the delivery guy was too tired to buzz our door just posted that the receiver was not available. At the end, we have to wait at our door to catch the car when it passes by to get our package.
This is a very good alternative to Canada post, for shipping within Canada. It is much faster than Canada post. It also ships to many international destinations that American postal companies like UPS and Fedex don't ship.
Parcel was sent one day to early ( not Purolater's fault) We were not home, nòtice said it was available to be picked up at a location 27 km away. Not a chance I am going to pick it up. I live in the middle of York Region. Need a lot better customer service.
Unbelievably horrible company with the laziest and dumbest drivers. This is the 4th time in 6 months I have had stuff from Amazon say it is on the way and will be here and then get a message say to come back in 2 to 3 days. The lazy $#*! inbred drivers are too lazy to do their jobs. I was told by a guy on the phone who works for them that "hey everyone deserves a beer break and relax after a hard day" WTF? I know these morons have 0 education, but to tell a customer that is insane. If I did that on my job as an airline pilot "oh I don't feel like going to Miami today, we can do it in 2 or 3 days", I wouldn't have a job for very long. Fire these idiots and get someone who wants to work. We make a schedule to be home for these idiots so our stuff does not get stolen from our front step, and then they feel like they don't want to do their job. This is a brutal company and would never, ever, ever do business with on any level, why Amazon still does is beyond me.
Train your people how to use doorbell. Common sense is not so common. If Canada post, Fedex and UPS can, why cant PuroLATER or PuroNEVER use the doorbell? During these hard times, the lease you can do is deliver the package in the most sensible way. Do it right the first time. If others can, why cant you? We need our packages and not your promises. Your company is a big joke. Modern pirates of our age.
Wow - just spent forever on hold so used the chat option. Couldn't understand her explanation so I asked her some specific questions and she just copied the exact same words she said before and then told me "I can't say the same thing over and over" and ended the chat.
Took a day off to receive my package.
Delivery date was for the 23rd of June.
This was a no show. I was told the delivery was guaranteed to be there. Bull!

I have been trying to get my birth certificate for over a month now. First time, no notifications or anything, they send it back to Winnipeg. So I pay to have it delivered next day. They decide they no longer have my unit number, and can't deliver it to my building, ignoring the communal mail box, and the fact I was home. Package then sits in a facility in the middle of nowhere, sending me comstant emails that I can come and pick it up. When they called to confirm my address they asked if they had the right address INCLUDING UNIT NUMBER, and I said yes. So it was complete crap that they couldn't deliver. Customer service is among the worst, and you will never get a human answer. Even if you paid for literally nothing. I hope Purolator goes belly up.
Absolutely the worst delivery company ever and has useless representatives that can assure the package will be delivered. The delivery guy does not even knock or ring the doorbell BUT just leaves a note saying they missed me. I have the CCTV footage that captures how effortlessly the driver just leaves the note and drives away. The driver didn't even leave their contact number to call back or neither call the recipients when they arrive at the premise. I live in the basement and no effort is made to ensure the package is delivered. My house owner was also in the house when the delivery guys came and heard nothing. I had to call customer service and wait 1 hour before I can be attended to. When I ask for re-delivery, the answer I got was subject to availability. MY FOOT! PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. Don't waste your time. Purolator - If you cannot commit to customer satisfaction and end-user experience, do not run a servicing company. JOKERS
The absolute worst delivery company and good for nothing customer service representatives. Delivery guy does not even knock or ring the doorbell and leaves a note saying they missed me. Useless company, waited all ay for them to deliver the package and customer support is useless. They have no idea what is happening and so called supervisors are also useless. PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. Don't waste your time. I'm sure someone will reply to this by asking me to send my tracking ID which I will do but I know it is useless. What a joke of a company.
I bought PC items for 3000$ on NewEgg Canada and the carrier (Purolator) just delivered the package in front of my door on the road as I was not at home. The packages were obviously stolen. I contacted Purolator who told me to check with the neighbors or if the package was not carefully hidden by the carrier. This was not the case, and Purolator eventually confirmed that they just put the package not hidden at all, and that I needed to see with Newegg for next steps, that they could do nothing. End of the story: I issued 3 claims to Newegg, with a police report, they denied all. On its side, Purolator had the nerves to send me a survey to measure my satisfaction, but when I clicked on the link, I had a message saying that it was a mistake that they sent the survey to me.
We were expecting a delivery of passport documents in a small town of 2500. Time sensitive as we were departing the following day. Driver claimed he could not deliver to the address due to construction. Pretty laughable given we were in and about around town with no more of a 2 minute wait with a flagger. Never got the package but once I made attempts to get a manager to get a hold of the driver he was already an hour away. We had to drive one hour to catch up with him there and back to get our package. Unbelievable. FEDEX is your only option. I have stopped payment for that delivery which was very costly and I DID THE WORK! PUROLATOR STINKS!
We always have problems whit these people, so for today delivery we set up sings at the door of the building, mail, and at the door of the apartment, to let the Purolator guy know we are home and that we are waiting, that he can knock or call to our phone. Well, he came saw the notes because he called us with a number from British Columbia (we live in Ontario), we answered, and he did not reply; so, I rushed downstairs, and when I got there, he was already writing the not for "sorry we missed you". All this was under 2 minutes, if I almost lost it with all these precautions, this only means that they have CERO intentions to deliver anything.
