Reserved 4 rooms for 3 nights in a 5* Hotel in Rome. Paid in full at the moment of the reservation and got a confirmation for all of them. Upon arrival at the hotel (9:30 am) the front desk confirms 2 rooms for our family, I showed him the prestigia.com confirmation page and confirmed thay only reserved 2 rooms. He helped me get customer service on the line but that was 25 min wasted of my time; they told me unfortunately they could only confirm 2 rooms and the hotel was completely full (REALLY, 5 star hotel in Rome 1 block away from the Vatican in the middle of July? What did he think?). Best option he could offer was a hotel 3 miles away from the original for the 2 missing rooms... remember, this is a family trip that is why we needed 4 rooms. At the end, had to split the group, got a refund for the 2 rooms and obviously could find anything similar, ended getting 2 expensive rooms in a very inferior 3 star hotel 1 block away from the rest of our group, not the experience we planned for,
I booked a room through Prestigia two months ago to stay at the Hyatt Regency Amsterdam in August. I gave a deposit with the plan to pay for the room upon arrival in August. Today out of the blue the hotel charged my card twice for the full stay. Prestigia is is useless. I talked to some half asleep disinterested Middle Eastern man in London. He was completely indifferent. Then I talked to Ana at the Hyatt Regency - she said yes was card was charged twice -sorry. I then called Hyatt customer service and they said they would look into when they had time. No more Prestigia or Hyatt for me.
Complete fraud. Rates seem low as they book in a foreign currency. Cancellation and booking dates are based on European time zones.

Someone stole my credit card and charged over $3000 with this website. I called them the day it happened and they said they could not help me unless I had the reservation number. Why would I have the reservation number if I didn't book it?!?! So I gave them all of my card information (of course I cancelled the card) and they said they would send it over to their financial team and give me a call back in 24 hours. (that was on 1/11) I called back on 1/13 and they said that it was a Saturday and there was no manager in the office and that I would have to wait for a call on Monday. Called back after not hearing from them on 1/24. Somai said she would call me back because it was 5 PM their time. It was 10 am my time and that she would call me in the morning. Still nothing and I have been trying to call the last two days and conveniently no one is at that number anymore! The bank is also working with them trying to get the money back, but they are the WORSE! I would never use them.
I book a room in AC but needed to cancel. I realize that booking was done in UTC time zone and I'm in EST so I was to late. Reluctantly I went to AC worried all along worrying something was going to go wrong. Check in went ok. On to the room which was very nice, clean and had a view of the bay. So far so good. I later learn that the $27 resort fee I paid include $18 food voucher and discount on valet parking which only cost me$10. Im waiting for my credit card statement to make sure everything is ok there, but all in all I had a good experience and probably would try them again
Do not book here they are frauds, do not give your bank details once you book they say that the booking has been unsuccessful meanwhile they've already took the money from your account. Also to make things worse they don't tell you that your transaction was confirmed.
Booked a room at the Hyatt Regency in Fort Lauderdale through Prestigia, only to find the hotel closed when I arrived (after a $70 cab ride from the airport!) Customer service (located in Morocco) was no help at all. We had to sleep on the floor of a friend's hotel room in Miami. Tried again with Prestigia customer service the next day. Their agent Yusuf told me they could give me a 10% discount on the only hotel room left in Fort Lauderdale, at the Ritz Carlton. Even with the supposed discount, each night would have cost four times the amount of the rate I was given for the Hyatt, so of course I declined. I was told that I would hear from a manager on Monday, because there was nobody able to make decisions about compensation on weekends. This is clear fraud, and bait-and-switch tactics. We ended up sleeping on the floor of a friend's hotel in another city just to have shelter. We completely missed the festival in Fort Lauderdale that we spent our vacation time on. No call from a manager came on Monday. I continued to be stonewalled by their agents when I called them. Calls to Hyatt's corporate office led me to find out that they never even made the reservation. FRAUD!
I booked a hotel room for my boss using this service. I was weary because I'd never heard of it before, but all other 3rd party booking services said they had no rooms and my boss made it clear that it was very important that he stay at this specific hotel. So, I did a little research on them and they seemed to check out okay, so I booked. About 20-24 hours later, we get an email saying our room could not be booked or confirmed. My boss paid upfront in full, they said they had rooms available but then after taking our money, couldn't confirm a room? What does that even mean...? Of course we got a refund but it was a huge inconvenience and very odd to me. It would be like Expedia or something saying they had 5 rooms available, so you book, then get an email saying they weren't able to confirm because they don't have any rooms available. I even called Prestigia to confirm that our room was good to go and they said yes. So weird, just don't bother using them.
Whatever you do... stay away. Booked on Prestigia but had to cancel with plenty of time to avoid the penalty. They did not refund the pre-paid money. Only suckers book using presitigia. I can only imagine that this is some scam.

Me and my friend booked a hotel in Sicily with Prestigia for September 2017. We received a booking confirmation and the money was taken from her account. A week later we called the hotel to book a boat tour with them, we were told by the hotel that they couldn't find our booking. So we called Prestigia and told them, they assured us that there was a booking and there was nothing to worry about. We were then provided with a booking reference. We called back the hotel and provided the booking reference, to my surprise, they still couldn't find us on the system. Naturally, we panicked at this point and called Prestigia back, they said they'll look into it and call us back. We didn't get a call back that day, instead we got an email that evening telling us that the hotel booking is cancelled and offered us 10% discount off a further booking with them. There was no mention about what had happened and no mention of our refund. We were upset and extremely worried, as we had no hotel and they had taken our money. We didn't know whether we'd get our money back, and we had no confidence that we would.
We called Prestigia the next day and asked what had happened. They told us that they couldn't honour the price on their website and had booked another hotel. We were furious at this stage! We were never told any of this, and if we didn't call the hotel to book a boat tour we would never had found out! We asked why we were never told this, they didn't have an answer. We said we wanted a full refund and didn't trust them any longer. Thankfully, we got a refund 5 working days later.
Because of the mistake Prestigia made, it meant that the hotel we originally booked and wanted was no longer available. So we had the added stress of finding something else.
The whole experience was an absolute nightmare! For days we were stressed and anxious about the entire thing.
So take our advice, don't book with Prestigia. Save yourself the worry and pay a bit more to book through a reputable company.
I recently booked a room in Vegas then changed my plan about a day later. I canceled and expected a full refund. I received email that I am entitled for a full refund. Nothing happened for 2 weeks and no refund was issued. I emailed and called Prestigia several times but no response and was on hold forever. I finally went to my Visa company and issued a dispute. Be careful with Prestigia when booking. Not sure if this company is legit
I recently booked a trip with this company. I booked this trip for my wedding. One day before my arrival date I was informed that my reservation was cancelled. This notification came from a friend who found out when he called the hotel to have a package delivered to our room for our wedding. I called the hotel and was informed Prestigia had cancelled my reservation. I then contacted Prestigia to find out why my reservation was cancelled. I was told it was a glitch on the hotel side which I then confirmed was not a true statement. I was later offered another hotel which was by far unacceptable considering the hotel I had booked. I was then told Prestigia could not fulfill my reservation and offered a 10% discount on my next booking. Totally and completely insulting. This was my wedding and your company not only cancelled my reservation and didn't notify me, you insult me with your 10% discount. Very dissatisfied. I suspect I will have issues getting my refund as well.
I booked a spring break vacation for my family of six two months in advanced with Presitigia only to find out at 10:30 pm on the day after my full refund experation date my reservation could not be confirmed with the hotel. Needless to say I am very upset and may be out of six round trip flights from Atlanta to Las Vegas. Sure they appologized but that does nothing for me. Oh yeah they did offer me a 10% discount to book another hotel as last minute spring break prices. When I finally got them on the phone at midnight I was told this happend to 50 other bookings as well.

I am extremely disappointed with this company. I was offered one price and then at payment they charged $20 USD more per night! When I emailed to resolve this issue, they ignored me for days. After repeated attempts, they said it was dynamic pricing. On the personal email with an advertised price, they say they guarantee the best price. They said nothing about limited time offer. I booked this hotel 1 hour after the email. They refused to honor the price. What is more this hotel is not luxury!
I made a reservation for three rooms in a five star hotel (Rosewood, London) in London for three nights. Payed 500 euros advanced and was supposed to pay 2861 euros at the hotel during arrival. The price was much lower than on other sites but seemed quite reasonable for a three rooms three nights. All was good and I received confirmation.
I contacted directly the hotel and asked them to add breakfast charge for our group of six people during our stay. Everything seemed to be in order!
Later suddenly I got a confusing email from Prestigia telling me that there was a mistake on their website and the price is actually only for on night. They told me the reservation needs to be cancelled! I called the Prestigia customer service and received absolutely rude and unhelpful service.
I explained that I have a written confirmation in my email for that exact price, three rooms, three nights and so I should be offered compensation for this inconvenience. It is a matter of consumer protection. They simply said there is nothing they can do and my reservation is now cancelled!
It was my first and last time using presitigia.com, I much rather pay a bit more than get scammed.
I decided to write this Prestigia review after I noticed that the first result when you look up "prestigia + review" on google is a negative one... I wasn't sure back then about booking my hotel on this website and I was worried, but I just felt brave that day and really liked their price (there was a 50% off promotion on my hotel booking)... So I just did it. And I didn't regret it. Everything went smoothly, be it the payement or the great customer service (I called them to make sure that there was nothing wrong about my booking, don't forget I was a bit worried), and once in the hotel, I had no problem at all. I'm writing this just to say that one shouldn't always trust whatever google is telling them. Prestigia is a trustworthy hotel booking website and I use it again to book my next hotel stay.
I have booked a stay through Prestigia for international accomadations 3 months out. I saw the advertised rate plus additional taxes and was charged later by the hotel. When I saw the charge made by the hotel, it was $300 more than Prestigia advertised. According to my Prestigia confirmation, I would be charged a tax that is "10% of the nightly rate" which would mean 10% of one night's rate. When I inquired with Prestigia, they told me that it actually meant 10% of my entire stay. There is a serious language barrier with this company. I told them that is false advertising and I would like a refund. After some back and forth, they told me because the rate is non-refundable they can't do anything at all. The customer service from this company is horrible! I am now disputing the charge with my bank. As someone who has worked at a hotel for years, this would be completely unacceptable customer service in the hotel industry. Do not book through them! The total amount is falsified and when you dispute the charge they will not care!

Other taxes: 10.00 % of nightly rate
Local taxes: 10.00 % of nightly rate
This means these taxes will be calculated on the total amount of the booking, which is the case with all hotels in Dubai.
Indeed you asked for a refund and our customer service did its best to negotiate this with the hotel, but unfortunately they didn't accept since it's a non refundable rate.

Answer: I doubt it. I didn't get a refund when I cancelled way before the deadline for free cancellation. I have heard from no one, no one answers the phone. I was on hold for an hour and thirty minutes as " the next one in line" I gave up. Don't waste your time, energy or money on this reservation site.
