SCAM COMPANY

Any positive review on this site is a scam, just like this company and the dude who runs it. For seven months I have been seeking a refund (which I was eligible for based on their terms). In all those seven months, he is the only person who has responded. He is clearly a scammer, probably churning credit cards by booking hotels for people. I'm sure he's the one out here everyday writing positive reviews of this dumb fake company. No one ever comes on these sites to write positive reviews. This website needs to be taken down. I recommend anyone else affected file reports with ftc.gov, usa.gov, bbb.org, and ecomsumer.gov. At the very least, we could get his website banned in the US.

This is a SCAM

Do not book with this web site! It's registered in off shore zone -Gibraltar! You will see no money, no reservation! I got my reservation canceled due Covid -19 lock-down in April, and no matter reservation says- FREE cancellation. They sent me e-mail telling me that I got TRAVEL CREDIT! Now I'm trying to book with my travel credit... and guess what... NO SUCCESS! Very fast, and Plain e-mail responses from some BOT, but money are GONE! Use Booking.com, Expedia, com, Hotels.com!

DON'T BOOK!

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY! I booked a hotel with them back in May. Their site states free cancellation. No where did I see that cancellation would be in a form of a voucher. When I contacted them, they said Covid is considered force majeure, so they are only providing refunds. What doesn't make sense is their site says free cancellation, but then they sent this: "Please note that following our general sales conditions that you have accepted before confirming your booking, Article 2,5th paragraph "Prestigia.com has no liability and will make no refund in the event of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure event or other causes beyond their direct control." If that's the case, then that contradicts free cancellation.

It's been 3 months and I haven't received my refund. Every time I email them they tell me the same thing over and over. There is no possible way any bank takes month to process any refund. DO NOT book via Prestigia!

I made hotel reservations through Prestigia.com that I was forced to cancel. Prestigia.com had collected the money from my credit card up front and confirmed the reservation as one that could be cancelled for free with a refund issued if cancelled by a designated date and time. They gave a phone number they represented to be manned 24/7. It was not. I cancelled the reservations both on a timely basis by email, which Prestigia conceded was the only mode of communication available because of COVID, but they refused to refund my money. They stated that there were too many cancellations for them to refund, and invoked a "force majeure clause." But I made my reservation when the COVID outbreak was already active and Prestigia was aware of it and issued a refundable res KNOWING THAT THEY DIDN"T INTEND TO HONOR THEIR REFUND OBLIGATIONS. THAT IS FRAUD. And their force majeure clause cannot operate to excuse their refund obligations AS A MATTER OF LAW because it does not specifically mention a pandemic or health emergency as a force majeure event AND the pandemic does not prevent Prestigia from making a refund payment. Economic hardship or inadequate cash flow planning is not impossiblity for purposes of force majeure. THEIR FORCE MAJEURE CLAIMS ARE FRIVOLOUS AND AN ATTEMPT TO JUSTIFY FRAUD. Be watching the Internet for a class action lawsuit against them and those like Kayak that affiliate themselves with Prestigia

WORST COMPANY EVER
September 30, 2020

Currently the world is going through a pandemic. I had a 5 month trip booked starting from 1st Aug with 26 accommodations booked. Thankfully only 1 through Prestigia. The rest are through Agoda and Wotif. All my accommodations were booked under ‘non-refundable'. Agoda and Wotif have contacted the hotels and they have agreed to waving that condition and refunding my money back. They have been great throughout the whole process.

But here we have Prestigia who will do absolutely NOTHING to help you during this time but keep your money. They have nothing in place for the pandemic. I have now contacted the hotel requesting my money back and informing them how Prestigia is treating me and other customers during this time.

This company is a scam. I booked a trip for Vegas for June 2020 but because of the covid-19 my job shut down in march. I tried to contact someone in their office and ever number was disconnect. What company have ever number disconnected? You can only research via email, no problem. For the entire month of April I emailed prestiga about my refund a got the same answer, we working on it. Finally in the end of May I decided to dispute it with my bank. After 20 days my bank said there is no findings in my dispute because prestiga lied and told my bank they gave my a credit to use when I am ready. That was not the agreement when I booked the trip, I should receive a full refund but find. Credit would work. I reached out via email only, to prestiga and ask to use the credit for my trip September 2020 to LA and was told they can not book it because I dispute the transaction. Wait! What?!?! First off they never got back to me about a refund or credit until my bank got involved. Then now you telling me because I did what any smart person would do and dispute. I can't use my credit because I disputed the transaction? This company must be crazy and I will be getting an attorney involved.

Bait and switch

I made a reservation through Prestigia. The hotel told me that the room type was unavailable and did not even exist. Although I showed them the confirmation email, they said there was no record of a reservation made through the company. I was not able to stay in the hotel that I booked. They said that the company often does this to secure bookings and scam customers out of the money. I paid for a good/service that I did not receive. I want a full refund back to my debit card immediately.

Wish I had read these other reviews. Pandemic hits - I canceled before the "free cancelation " period and they WILL NOT refund the money, which they charged me ahead of time. I had no idea they'd charge me the full stay up front! They are crafty - they hide the important info. And now I'm out $1900. Screw this company. Avoid them! I didn't even realize who they were as my reservation via Trivago went to them!

DO NOT BOOK WITH PRESTIGIA! You will never receive your money back from this scam! Free cancellation is a lie. I was told I would receive my money back within 120 days from cancellation date, but it's now been almost 150 days and no refund. I have tried numerous times to reach out to Prestigia but they're not cooperative at all! This company is dishonest and does not care about their customers at all! All they care about is stealing your money and are very tricky with the verbiage they use to lock customers in. I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK WITH PRESTIGIA!

I sent over thirty emails, this was my last email to them after no response
"Hello Ms. Fatima Ezzahra Hamidallah,
Hope this finds you well. I implore your assistant. My son is handicap, and traveling for the first time by himself. His booking was confirmed by prestigia, but upon arriving at the hotel it could not be confirmed due to none payment by your company. As a concerned parent I have written multiple times with no resolution. Please help me restore my faith in humanity by addressing this emergency. My son is by himself, and distraught. Faithfully yours " I can only say buy at your own risk its been two days, and haven't received a response.

The ONE time I did not book directly with a hotel, and I got BURNED beyond relief. Canceled my 5 day hotel stay 133 days ago, and have yet to receive a refund (It's almost $2k!). They keep telling me it will be 4 more weeks. I'm guessing they are not ethical or reputable. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I'm sadly in the same boat as many others, booked 3 rooms at The Mirage in Vegas, Free cancellation, the hotel is still closed but Prestigia are refusing to give us our money back. 3 months I've been trying to get a refund. I've given them 2 more weeks and then will be starting legal proceedings.

I'll never, ever use this company again and would encourage everyone to stay away from them.

Scammers!

I booked hotel for 7/15 on 6/30. Reservation states free cancelation until 7/14. Canceled reservation on 7/1. First response is "non refundable". After pointing out the "free cancelation", they REFUSE to to give credit back my card. Instead, future use credit. Complete bull, I disputed the charge. Screw them. Scam!

My wife and I had booked a Prestiga hotel two nights prior to a cruise in Barcelona Spain. Aur flights and also our cruise has been canceled at Prestige refuses to give us a refund and will not respond to us about a covid-19 policy do not ever book with prestigia hotel they are disgusting and dishonest company
