I ordered for the first time and then took my money for said order and an additional $20 on hold, cancelled the order and kept my money on hold. Why process the amount if you can't even fulfill the order? $19 order and $38.00 on hold. Absolutely ridiculous. After waiting 45 minutes for said order they cancel because they didn't have anyone to deliver. But why take my money first? I'll never use again. Ever. Horrible company.

No refund for THEIR GLITCH

I have placed orders many times and it has been canceled due to their error and I GOT CHAGRED. Reached out to customer service and they basically said "sorry"
No refunds. $100 lost for no reason. HOrrible customer service and this is the 2nd time it has happened.

Driver called me when he arrived at my home. I opened my front door and he was sitting in his car while his car was running. He refused to get out of his car. I had to walk out his car at night to get my food. He then rolled down his passenger window and handed me my food then drive away. I've tried to contact Postmates multiple times and they have never responded to me.

I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN PERIOD. THEY TOOK MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT TEICE FOR THE SAMETHING. THEY EVEN CHARGE DEPOSIT AND DON'T GIVE BACK.

Ordered two items at $15.99 each. One for $5.79. After $12.99 taxes and fees(outrageous) and $5.99 delivery fee comes out to just under $60.00. They always authorize a hold of more than total but this time it was changed after I ordered and saying since the place I ordered from was "not a partner" the total was now 80.09? Emailed and they basically are calling me a liar saying that the total is correct? This company has obviously turned into a scam seeing the last few comments. Disappointed to say the least.

I cannot count the number of issues I had with their support service! Missing items not reimbursed, never answered my claims etc etc. However this is the most expensive service among similar ones. Do not use it guys, you will have a lot of troubles with them

Consistently screw up

I had numerous problem with Postmates. One occasion the driver was outside my house and I went downstairs to meet him them the next thing I knew he was driving off with my food still in his hands. I called Postmates and told them and all they did was tell me they can only give me a 10 dollars credit. Mind you my offer was about 45 dollars. Them the customer service rep that I called was so rude and careless. The seccond time I ordered I received my food 30 minutes late and when the food came it was wrong and I had missing items. I called Postmates and all they told me is they can't do anything and the rep was not understanding. Never use them it's a rip off and the drivers take forever and they cannot read.

Horrific

The amount of issues I faced from just one trip driving for Postmates is just too long for this comment. Also for this same trip the customer was told by Postmates customer service to pay double for an this issue that was not the customers fault... Do business with them at your own risk. Do it enough you will undoubtably get burnt.

If I could rate negative stars I would definitely rate POSTMATES negative infinity! I am not angry with the driver because his job is to pick up the order and deliver it. My frustration is with POSTMATES as an organization. I ordered a pizza from MOD PIZZA. However, when the pizza was delivered, it was not my pizza. Not even close. The name on the order was not even my name. Not only that, but the pizza had toppings that I'M ALLERGIC to. So I couldn't even eat the pizza to make the best of a bad situation.

I IMMEDIATELY reported an issue. Probably before the driver even left my driveway. I explained everything and even noted that I am allergic to some of the toppings. It has now been 45 mins since I reported the URGENT issue and I have not received a phone call, text message, an email or anything letting me know my issue is being reviewed.

I would expect a little bit more urgency in a case such as this. A customer has spent money, and cannot even consume the product that was delivered. If that isn't urgent enough, I don't know what is.

I am very upset with this situation and I still am not able to eat because my order was wrong and I don't even have a contact number to reach anyone at POSTMATES to demand rectification.

If anyone is thinking of using POSTMATES for the first time, I would STRONGLY advise AGAINST it. This is ridiculous! Now my money is gone, I don't have my food, and I have yet to hear from POSTMATES.

HIGHLY DISSATISFIED and DISAPPOINTED

Never Again
September 7, 2019

I've used Seamless/Grubhub for so long and never had any issues. Visiting my mom, Postmates had the better food options so we figured why not. The total order was one price then once the food was picked up it jumped up $20. TWENTY. This app is a rip off. AND they didn't even deliver everything we paid for. Don't use this app unless you don't care about wasting your money.

Never order from Postmates! I ordered and the restaurant said they had never even received my order so my hubby had to make a COMPLETELY different order for which he paid, then Postmates went ahead and charged me anyway for food I never received! When I tried contacting Postmates they said they couldn't refund my money because it was a pickup order, they COMPLETELY ignored the fact that the restaurant NEVER received my order or the fact that I NEVER received my food! Complete rip-off and the biggest scam currently running!

20 minute rides for $2-3 per delivery. Not even enough to cover the gas you use to deliver in one single order. Takes almost 3-5 days to see tips. Under paid drivers and extremely long wait time for orders

I stupidly purchased a $99 membership for "free" deliveries and have received the correct order exactly once. I have waited over an hour for burgers while I watched the delivery driver cruise around town for 40 minutes and by the time we got the food it was cold and soggy and disgusting. Their response when I complained was that they could see that the driver was almost to our house. End of response. This company won't refund my membership fee despite advertising that claimed you could "cancel anytime" and their customer service team is ineffectual at the best of times. This entire app is a scam and I would caution anyone to stay away from them. If I lose my $99, then I at least want to help other people NOT get scammed out of their hard-earned money. I have never been more disappointed in a phone application. A COMPLETE scam and waste of money.

7 times out of 10 lately our food has been extremely wrong. Example order pepperoni pizza and get Hawaiian. Ordered potato skins and got sliders. They refuse to refund the mistakes they make. Paid 51 dollars for a meal. One 11 dollar item was missing. Would not refund me the missing item. Stay Away!

Never ever again will I use them for ANYTHING. I ordered a small order, a burrito and chips with the last of my paycheck. They cancelled my order 3 times. The last attempt it accepted, and the charge for the order went through. I waited 30 minutes, and it never arrived. So I check my app, it has once again been cancelled. I call "customer support," and hes like sorry nothing i can do, you'll get your money back in 3 days. In the background it sounds like a party. People laughing extremely loud, and hes not even listening to me. He gave me the most insincere apology. I asked for a manager and he said his manager wouldn't deal with such a small problem. If my problem is so small THEN WHY CAN'T YOU DO YOUR JOB AND FIX IT. He said I can wait 3 days and get my money and TRY AGAIN. I said IF I HAD THE TIME AND MONEY TO WAIT 3 DAYS DO YOU THINK I WOULD BE USING THIS DELIVERY APP? I am so angry and he made me feel so insignificant. I will never support this app and I will bash it at every available opportunity.

This company are crooks. I placed 2 orders one was from Popeye's they charged me $45.90 and the order was only 30.15 which includes delivery fees and taxes and tip. They charged me both of the charges. So I have 76.05 of charges on my account. And on top of that the order was wrong. I had another order while waiting for them to get this one straight. They charged my account the full charge 19.30 everything included fees, taxes and tip. All of a sudden another charged tip shows up for 4.00 on my account. And they do not explain why it was charged twice they keep sending a pre-writen script that explains nothing. Do not use this service you will pay twice the amount of what you ordered.

I've used Postmates in Palm Springs and have never been charged a service fee. Let alone 20%! Are you kidding me. I NEVER use this service again.
