Terrible customer service and authorization practices. I've placed previous orders using my maiden name on my debit card and my married name on the billing address, and never had an issue with an order processing. Then I placed an order with my spouse's card, in which I am an authorized user on with the bank. I used the same billing address and being an authorized user, I used my first name. My spouse and I share the same last name, so I obviously never thought there would be an issue with the transaction. Of course there wasn't an issue on my banks end, because I am authorized user and the billing address is correct, but Personalizationmall put my order on hold. I can understand flagging an order with a different last name, but not an order that has the same last name and multiple personalized items showing the same last name as both seen on the billing address and card used. There was even a wedding picture bought with our last names on it. I cancelled the order because the authorization process was insane and unprofessional. They wanted to speak to my spouse directly, (as if they had any way of verifying that it was my spouse speaking on the PHONE) and asked them to call their department to verify the purchase. I even told the customer service representative that I am an authorized user and can verify the card numbers, but was denied this. Having had no previous issues with orders made with completely different last names, I was appalled at this blatantly idiotic policy. My spouse had to take time out of their work day to give this company a call and verify the purchase. Instead, I told them to cancel because I am never going to give this company my business again. It should not be this difficult to place an order and their department should be more concerned with differing last names on orders above all things. This is also concerning to me for those in the LGBT community who may be dead-named!
I have ordered two items from Personalizationmall.com. They have been on time and excellent quality of both items ordered.
I ordered two items at the same time - one custom made cutting board and cheese chalk sticks. The custom made cutting board came in a smashed box, but it was on time. The cutting board was just sitting in the box, not even bubble wrapped. The chalk sticks (not custom designed) arrived four days late in a smashed up package (allegedly via FEDEX) was was not delivered by a FEDEX driver, and the customer service folks didn't give a crap! The offered to refund my "expedited" shipping charges, but I have yet to even see that happen. Then when I told them I don't have a use for the chalk sticks because the wedding has come and gone, they told me to ship them back (I would have to pay for that return) for a refund.
Just a sketchy situation and I'm sooo disappointed. Clearly, they no longer care about how their products look, are packed and are shipped. What a shame.
I've ordered products from them before and was satisfied with the quality, but do not order the lumbar pillow. The picture was blurry and colors were off, even though the pic I sent had a high resolution. Also, the pillow was so flat, I don't know how they call it a lumbar pillow as it had absolutely no support. I contacted them for a refund, and was asked to send pics, which I did, but no reply.
I I ordered a frame online. When I proofread the inscription, it was correct. When I received my order, the date was missing. When I contacted them about it they told me I could purchase another one for 50% off. It was not my error but, hour generous of you to only charge me half price for your mistake. No thank you. Buyer beware!

My product $49 cost $54 to return they force you to use FedEx. They must have a deal with FedEx to charge customers to get more money
I ordered an engraved item. Everything looked correctly on my end. Two of us proofread it. I submitted it and paid. When the item arrived it was only part of the words. So ridiculous. They said it was my fault. I could reorder for 50%off. Something with their system went weird. I even had a screen shot prooving that it was correct and they still said it was my fault. Again, want me to reorder and if it does it again than what... what a joke. Never again their site says that they build meaningful relationships at the heart of everything they do. Haha. They might want to change this!
We ordered a personalized banner that came within a week. It was beautiful unfortunately it was missing a grommet. I sent an email and received a response almost immediately. They asked that I send a picture of the issue in question which I did. The next day I received an email apologizing for the missing grommet and I was told they where sending a replacement out immediately. I have never received such fast and professional service before. The first email I sent was on a Saturday morning and the issue was resolved on Sunday. Very impressive! I will recommend this company to both friends and family.
They break down the shipment. It does not come altogether. I ordered a flag pole a bracket for it and the flag. They sent me a flag pole after a week and now they're saying it will be another week before I get other product which I don't even know if it's coming together.
Plus, if you need them customer service is amazingly friendly and helpful! Whenever I need to call them I am always satisfied with the results. They really do try to make the customer happy. Great company!
Please don't use them. They screwed me over so badly. And at a very emotional time. Customer service didn't care one bit about their mistake and left me screwed. They lie and say they try to contact u but never did. I was left with no order and had zero time to get a replacement from anyone else. They never even let me know they cancelled. The site is full of lies. I am screwed for the funeral and have nothing I was supposed to have. I spent hours creating and doing everything correct and all waisted. I have to come empty handed now. They had no compassion for their customers whatsoever. I'm heartbroken

Have been doing business with personalized mall for years. I have never had a problem until this month. It has been a very disaster. I was extreme tired when I completely the information. I sent the final product to my daughter that's when she informed me of the error I made. I emailed them and I made another error and adding a name already had on the blanket. Nobody questioned me nor did they add the name on the blanket twice. They can assume I didn't want the name twice but no one decided to ask if I did or not because I would have known it was another mistake.
Years of dealing with them and over 20,000.00 spend with them. One indicent has cost them a customer. It probably doesn't matter because I am one little company.
I have been using them for years. Always loved what I got. Recently bought a blanket for Mothers Day. My MIL got someone else's blanket and they got hers. Spoke with CS for over an hour. We laughed and joked about it because spit happens. Was told a new one would be sent. Fast forward 4 weeks and she didn't get the original one. Contacted CS again and was told they never got the picture of the wrong item delivered, which they did because the representative laughed about it with us. Now I was told after checking they will send a new one. I mean of course they will, they sent the wrong item. Requested a refund and was told no. I spend so much on this website it is their loss.
Doormat insert too small for rubber tray and not secured so it moves. Letters are weirdly smeared and not like the sample you have to approve before ordering. Def not quality worthy of the $95 BEFORE the express shipping added to total $132. Wish I would have read all the bad reviews prior to ordering
Thursday before Mother's Day ordered a "World's Best Mom" cap for my lovely wife. It was personalized with her nickname on the back of the cap. Paid an extra 27.00+ for Guaranteed Saturday delivery (to get it before Mother's Day).
Received the hat on Monday (sorry Mom), with no personalized embroidery.
I'd like an embroidered hat for Mom and my money back!
Personalization Mall is unwilling to help in any way to correct a shipping address, even if it is just to call to add a UNIT #, because of their 'contract with fedex'. What a crock of bull! Call Fedex and simply 'add' a unit # - it's not rocket science. The only help they offered was to have me reorder the item and they would refund 50% of my original order. Well, isn't that mighty kind of them, all of 50%! I explained to them that I was not made aware I needed a unit # when I asked the recipient for their address, just a street number and name and city, state, zip. If I had known there was a unit # that was needed by fedex, I certainly would have included it. They 'trick' you into confirming an address even if the address is what you were given so one would assume that the address IS correct, and then their attitude is 'oh, well!'.
I have ordered gifts from this company several times and have always been pleased. Their work and quality has been outstanding. So, I decided to order 8 more of the exact whiskey glasses I had ordered in the past. When the glasses arrived, I noticed they did not look as nice as the previous glasses. They were not tinted and did not feel as heavy in your hand. When I reviewed the glass type from a previous order, I noticed it was a different glass. I contacted Customer Service which was no help. He told me to send pictures to their QA department. QA respond " This has been reviewed by our Quality Assurance Team and they have determined the item was made according to the design parameters created by our Design Department." They said they could not refund or replaced because they were personalized as I requested. I never complained about the customization. I complained that it wasn't the same glass. They completely ignored this and offered me a 20% discount. I told them to keep the discount and they have lost me as a customer. They made a few dollars today but will lose hundreds … maybe thousands in future orders.
If you are considering buying from them, do not make a large purchase. Purchase 1 item at a time so you don't waste almost $200 on something cheap like I just did.
Lesson Learned!
I ordered a basket, outfit, and pillow for my grandson last Friday. I paid faster shipping because I wanted those before Saturday for Easter. I placed my order and the items were coming tomorrow. What a surprise when I received everything today.
After reading the previous reviews I almost changed my mind but I'm so glad I didn't. Everything is beautiful and perfect. Great quality. Glad I will bring those to my little boy tomorrow. Thank you Great experience.

Answer: They won't fix it. I called customer service and they pretty much said to bad. Also they may make you a new one but charge you 50% and the shipping charge.
Answer: I wouldn't if I was you. Use another company if you can. I haven't received the order I placed over 20 days ago. Don't recommend them at all. My experience.
