Staying on my patio is one of the moments that I usually cherish and all of this is due to the white round Patio Offset Cantilever Umbrella that I had installed. The push-button feature that makes me tilt the umbrella just makes my patio nothing less than a beach.

I received a DEFECTIVE ITEM (very poor quality, black marks, uneven stitching and product color not as depicted on website) but they want me to pay $40 to ship it back?! 50% of the cost of the item!

This is one of the umbrellas that we have been planning to buy from time to time. It worked well with our gazebo idea and for that, its a recommended product when you are performing exterior design.

Complete Scam!

I hate to write another review for the same company, when I would never buy from them again, but this company needs to be shut down! First, it's a fake website-made to look legitimate. Second, they are selling BEST CHOICE umbrellas-Google it they are $89- NOT $150. Third, they WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU. Fourth, customer service is non-existent! Stay away!

I ordered 5 umbrellas from this company and one was shipped broken. I have sent over 75 emails to this company and several phone calls. They refuse to send out an new umbrella. I have offered to send the broken one back and they want me to pay $40.00 for shipping to return there broken product. There customer service is horrible and there products are very low quality. I finally ended up disputing the charges with my charge card company and you will to. STAY AWAY THERE A FLY BY NIGHT COMPANY AND WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! I will be posting all my emails between me and patio sun umbrellas so everybody can see what kind of company this really is.

Dimensions of umbrella given were totally wrong. Called before purchasing to verify and given wrong information - ordered the umbrella and looked at the photo closely - cancelled order and returned - that was 2 years ago and they refuse to refund money! Do not answer phone, even from delivery company!
It came from Canada so there's not much stateside that can be done - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY - cheap junk too- so many corporate names- sketchy

I purchased 2 umbrellas from this place on March 24,2020. After we used them four times (within the first two weeks) the bottoms began to rust. I called to request replacement. They stated I met the qualifications for a replacement but it would cost 40 dollars per umbrella to ship me new ones. The website clearly states that if there are any issues at all with your umbrella they will ship a new one out "free of charge." Well... after dozens of emails, numerous phone calls I cannot seem to get a response from anyone in management. I finally received a response that stated they would lower the shipping fee to 30 dollars. When I attempted to call them to pay the 30 dollars they told me it was 30 for each umbrella. It clearly does not say that in the email and they refused to stand by what they wrote saying "it was a typo." I requested to speak to a manager and after waiting for almost 5 minutes I was hung up on and now they are not answering my calls. The customer service of this place is terrible! Their warranty is fraud, the customer service is terrible, and they are not willing to stand by what THEY wrote in their email. If I could give this place negative stars I would. They do not stand by their product and I would highly recommend going anywhere but here for your outdoor needs! Terrible!

These umbrellas are rugged and the base is secure. When we had an issue with ours that we couldn't remedy ourselves, they promptly sent us a replacement umbrella.

I had the same experience as everyone else, although they did send one replacement umbrella after much complaining, and it was as cheap as the other and broke within 24 hours of putting it up. The cord broke both times leaving me with a limp, umbrella that tilted, nothing seems to keep it upright.

They had a real catch 22, they will not accept any returns except from US Postal service, unfortunately USPS will not ship a box the size of this one! I received it through FedEx.
After the first exchange, they would no longer respond to me.

The only redeeming thing I did was buy with an American Express card. If you buy through American Express, you can dispute the charge and because they won't let you return it and they won't honor their bogus lifetime warranty, Amex refunded my money.

Now I have to find out where to dispose of these beasts!

UPDATE: Recently I was contacted by Patio Sun Umbrellas by email and was asked to retract my review. I declined and they emailed me a couple more times asking me to remove my review. I responded and said no, but it was as if they had never read my response. They continue to contact me asking me to reconsider my review. I stand by my review, it is not unfair, it is a statement of facts.

Their new 5 star reviews are a bit suspicious, lots of grammatical errors and misspellings...

Buyer Beware.

I ordered 2 umbrellas from this company. Everything was fine until I received the order, and I only got ONE umbrella. SO i sent an email to the company, never heard back, called the company talked with customer service rep who says she will try to get the rest of the order shipped and look for an email, no email, call again, same response, again no email, finally called for the supervisor, at this point 2 WEEKS have gone by and I can't get the rest of my order shipped. I just want umbrellas, so I ordered from another company and I talk with David to get a refund and cancel my order and he was very unapologetic and told me i had to pay for the umbrella I received. Um, NO! I want to return it, and he said I could at my own expense, and that I would be charged for the umbrella otherwise. In the end he issued me a partial refund, but im still stuck with an umbrella I dont want and being charged 40 bucks for it! I asked for a call tag, he says the company doesn't issue call tags. So I'm left paying for their mistake. What should have been an easy fix (send out missing product) has turned into a very unhappy experience.

I ordered a 9' tilting umbrella for $99... seems too good to be true... WELL IT WAS.

The umbrella opened in a gust of wind within the first couple of weeks (as they do not have ties on the umbrella fabric) and it busted the CHEAP metal ring at the top of the umbrella. The metal is only slightly thicker than a paperclip.

When I showed photos (see attached) and asked for my money back (or a replacement with which I would just tie some rope around) they gave me two options. 1) only 20% of my money back or 2) they would reimburse me only AFTER I mailed the umbrella to them in Canada! Not having the ripped box that it came in... the cost of a new box that shape and shipping to Canada would have been more than the $99 I spent originally!

They produce a CHEAP product... are too cheap to add a velcro tie... and then after busting a couple weeks after purchase do not stand up to their big/bold "LIFETIME GUARANTEE" plastered over their entire website.

DO NOT... I repeat DO NOT purchase from this company. Spend the extra few bucks to get a higher quality product (with a tie string) from a reputable company that truly stands behind their product.

One star is entirely too generous!

Received wrong color
