Will make sure everyone knows not to buy from you.so much for warranty sent 5 emails and pictures. Never received a response. Calling consumer advocate and better business beaurea. Paid 90 dollars for trash. Should be ashamed of themselves
Ordered two umbrellas that arrived damaged. Contacted customer service through website. Exchange a couple of emails with pictures. PatioSunUmbrellas replaced both of the umbrellas. Couldn't be more satisfied!
We received a new patio umbrella with a broken piece. They are replacing it with a brand new one and we do not have to send the other one back which saves a lot of time. Thank you so much for your quick response
I purchased and received my yellow cantilever umbrella quickly.
Upon assembly (trivial) I discovered that one of the two support pole tension knobs did not enter into the support shaft to secure the (inner) umbrella pole.The screw hole had not been drilled all the way through and/or the outer nut that was welded on to add hole depth was a tiny bit off center.
I emailed the company and explained the situation and offered to mail back the 20 inch vertical support pole. They asked for pictures of the 3/4 inch nut/hole to better understand my written explanation. I complied. After a very short interim they informed me that they would send a new umbrella. I thought the email had a typo and they meant just the support pole. They sent a complete umbrella (with a fully functioning support pole this time)!
Purchased a cantilever umbrella. Once assemble and opened, the umbrella repeatedly tips over. Poor quality. Poses a safety hazard. Notified the company and were told, rudely, that we must pay the return shipping, to CANADA! Or take a 20% discount off the price of the umbrella and we keep it. We informed the rep we do not want product that does not perform/function as advertised. And furthermore, do not want product that is unsafe. We also refuse to pay for return shipping. POOR customer service at best. Will notify my credit card company. Stay away from this website and product...

I bought this umbrella and installed it in my gazebo and believe me its one of the best places that I never want to get away from during the weekends. It provides incredible relaxation points in my garden. Highly recommended.
We received our tilt umbrella - looks great, works perfectly and at a great price. We noticed a cord extending thru a pulley - which is apparently not supposed to be there. We contacted the company and were told that we would be receiving a brand new umbrella. This company has exceptional customer service. We received a prompt response to our inquiry and are more than satisfied with their service. Would recommend them to everyone.
I recently ordered a cantilevered umbrella from Patio Sun Umbrellas. It arrived in less than a week after I ordered it. I found a cracked plastic cap open opening the box. I snapped a picture of it and called the company. At their request, I e-mailed the picture to them. I expected they would send a replacement part but instead, they apologized for the inconvenience and sent me another umbrella! I would do business with this company again and recommend them!
Won't get too verbose here. Short story is I ordered a Tan umbrella. Received the email invoice and noticed it was a White umbrella. I called the 800 number immediately, spoke with a heavily accented order taker. She put me on hold, came back and assured me they will ship the Tan. 6 days later I receive a white umbrella. Sent a curt email detailing the mistake. Received an email apologizing for the mis-step. Told me to keep the White umbrella and they will send out the Tan one FOC. Fed Ex has a ticket created but received no such product to ship. I would deny the CC charge, however we leave for an trip internationally and I don't want deal with any issues with my CC while away

The support bar on my umbrella broke, I contacted customer service sent them pictures and immediately got an email that I was entitled to a brand new umbrella. It is very rare to have that kind of customer service that fast this company is highly highly recommended
I ordered two different colors of tilt umbrellas one evening. The next morning, I received an email that my order for both umbrellas had been shipped. I could track my order through Fed Ex. I did that and found out that my order would be at my house in a few days and I would need to sign for it. I was home that day so it was not a problem. My husband was so excited that he put them up first thing when he got home from work! They are beautiful! They crank easily and provide nice shade when they are up! I can't wait until the other three umbrellas we have fall apart so I can replace them with matching ones to the new ones!
I actually never knew that it was water proof. For that reason, I can use my Patio in all weather. This is absolutely one of the patios that I have ever dreamt to have the whole of my life. It's durable and has no dust.
An umbrella was delivered with a cracked plastic cap that fits in the center of the pole where the top and bottom poles connect. In response to my email with photos, I was asked to use the cap from the "old" umbrella. However, my old umbrella did not have a cap anyplace on the pole. I was very disappointed in the failure or refusal of PatioSunUmbrellas to provide excellent customer service.
With the incredible discounts and free shipping, I was actually able to save a lot. Besides that, it actually catered for all my decorating needs. Its very sturdy and it actually illuminates the great light. It just makes my balcony look amazing.
I purchased a cantilevered umbrella and it came in with a hole and it was so cheaply made that I was very disappointed. I then found the same umbrella at a local store for half the price. The company would not respond to my emails after I asked for my money back. They offer to replace it but did not want to send it to me. I paid through my paypal account and had to file a complaint. The then came back and said that I had to close my complaint before they would send me a new one, of course if I do that then Paypal will not help with the resolution. I was stuck and the company does not have a number to call for customer service. You have to communicate via email and they are very poor at responding. If you want quality products and good customer service, go somewhere else. I am not out my money with a defective product.
For an authentic beauty then this is the best product that I have ever had. At first, I had resorted to building a cover to keep the sun from us but going for this umbrella just helped me sort all that hustle out. It provided the shade and protection that I had required. I highly recommend it.

If you have a pool deck then I bet you should try out one for the pool. Its sturdy nature and heavy fabric make it a better choice for the pool deck. The delivery was fast and there was no damage to the product that I had ordered. Looking forward towards doing more business with you guys.
I bought this as a birthday gift. Arrived totally unassembled. As they were assembling it, they discovered a missing (critical) part. No amount of calls, chats or emailing have resulted in even the courtesy of a reply. I too relied on the Lifetime Warranty in choosing this product. Go local where you can find someone to respond to you.
Answer: Stay away from this company, don't let price lure you in! Bad quality and yes they want you pay shipping back for a return. They do not stand by their product! Probably the worst company i ever did business with.
