Never order from this company! I ordered $160.00 worth of parts from them and because I ordered online and they sent the wrong part I have to pay to ship back to them, mind you the cost is $104.00 to return it. I was told because I chose to order online and not speak to someone im responsible for return costs. Very unprofessional, do not care about customers, policies are ridiculous and customer service is even worse!
I ordered some parts in good faith from PartsGeek for my car. After arriving, I found that they were either incorrect, damaged, poor quality, or a combination of both. I tried to return the unusable parts but was informed that I had to pay to return the parts for credit. I should not have to pay $28 dollars to ship their junk back to them. How disappointing.
I found parts cheaper and with free shipping on Ebay within ten minutes of ordering. Since there is no online option to cancel orders, I called as soon as business hour began (9:30am) to cancel order. Customer service was unwilling to offer any discount on shipping and could not cancel order and I would have to return parts for a refund minus shipping charges, which I will be doing. I will never use partsgeek again and would pay more before using partsgeek again.
Bad treatment. Called to see about returning parts that don't fit my truck. Hung up on twice. Expected me to pay for shipping back. I will have my bank dispute and contact BBB. I will have to go thru the manufacturer as over the counter companies not to be trusted
I will probably never order anything from this company ever again. I ordered a window regulator for our 2016 Hyundai Tucson. I confirmed the part through chat with one of their representatives. When we received the part it was not the right one. We still have to return that part but we were waiting for the right part to arrive. It was ordered on Thursday. This morning I contacted chat to see where the shipping number was for the new part and it's never been ordered even though the card was charged because the item is not in stock even though the representative said it was in stock. I'm really not very happy with this company at all. I'm sitting here waiting for a part for my window that's never going to get here and I've been without my car for almost a week. This is really bad customer service.
If you are from Canada, don't bother with Parts Geek. Will not ship to Canada, will not accept a Canadian credit card. I sent a US money order for shipping to a US address and it sat until I called a couple of weeks later, then I was told it had to get mailed to another address and then they would only deposit on Fridays, but they would let me know when it was shipped. Fast forward 3 weeks and they had done nothing but it suddenly "would go out today". When I complained to them about poor service they hung up on me. Well done Geeks.
I received an order a week ago. One of the part does not fit, left mirror for 540i BMW year 2000. I send a return request. It responded to wait for their response. A day later, they did not respond. I resubmit the ticket and they say not to resubmit the ticket because it will start another ticket. I follow their instruction and so far no response for the past 5 days. I have expose wires on the back on this mirror and I cannot get my car wash. They seem to be completely lost when it come to return an item that does not fit.
10/31/19... I replied to this email asking to wait patiently, 24 to 48 hours response... email was sent on Monday and is now Thursday... I just received notification to expect another 24 hours to 48 hours. I try to call, wait 10 minutes without any responses... their return team really sucks more than ever.
Part geek are a bunch of crooks. My first order it was wrong now they want to screw me now i have to pay to send it back and theni have a restock fee. Dont use parts geek! There crooks 1 star is as low as i can go id go lower!
I was sent an incorrect part and went to their online page to setup a return. It was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had. After a battery of questions they required the vin number of my car and a picture of the part to be uploaded. This is a ridiculous.process and I truly believe it's all designed to get people frustrated and just drop returning part. I would never purchase anything from them again.
I am still waiting on my refund from this company. I sent the part back on September 2. I gave a few extra days for the holiday. Now note that I did not get the full refund when I sent the part back the first time. Try to reorder with customer service again, only to get the same part again. This time I was told that the company that they were getting parts from didn't make them right. Your company should check and double check parts before you sip them. You are responsible for your company's errors. Why should a consumer have to pay anything, when the mistake is yours. I would like for someone from this company to contact me so this issue can be resolved. You are making your money ripping off the consumer by charging taxes and shipping cost, because from what I have read, your parts and service is POOR.
I was going to order parts for first time, but after reading your reviews, I changed my mind. I would rather pay more than having to deal with this company. I just had very bad experience wih CarID. They made me pay extra for next day delivery but never shipped the part. And when I read the reviews, most of people had the same bad experience
Will never buy from this company again. Ordered a part and fedex shipping shows it bouncing all over the country for over a week no where near where I live (I know these things happen and is NOT the fault of Parts Geek.) However when I call customer service to try to get more answers, I am told by a very rude man "It is not their problem", and before I can say anything else - he hangs up! Bad customer service, and I will be posting my experience on other review sites as well.
2 parts ordered, a bit more money and better quality. I received 2 different part numbers that totaled $23.00 less money on their website but I was still charged for the more expensive parts I orginally ordered. I was also held responsible for return shipping costs. Tried reaching customer service 3 times but the line was disconnected after being on hold for 15 minutes each time. Buyer Beware!
We ordered the wrong part and called and asked if they would exchange it and they said yes and would email us the mailing label. Well 4 calls later and they were given 2 different emails they could send it to we have received nothing. I dont know why they say they will exchange it if they have no desire to do so. Now I am stuck with a part I can not use.
Partsgeek.com is a scam. They will send you the incorrect part then make it hard for you to get a refund. You will eventually give up and write off the expense.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this bogus company. I wish I had.
They take forever to ship, they don't guarantee their products. The worst part is they'll send you the completely wrong part then expect you to pay for return shipping and a restocking fee! They are absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with!
I paid them to ship my parts UPS overnight. I got half my parts over a week later and the rest was sent to the Post Office and I had to drive 20 miles to pick them up. Their service department said that they had no control over how parts were shipped even though they took my money to ship overnight. These guys are the worst. Don't waste your time with these unprofessional hacks!
I had ordered a part off Partsgeek.com to fix my car. I purchased through Parts Geek because of the price and selection seemed very reasonable.
But my problem is, I never received my part.
I contacted the shipping service (UPS) and the Parts Geek for a resolve, but alas, I did not receive one. It was their lack of customer service that will keep me from purchasing from them ever again.
They did not seem to care that I was out the price of the part + Shipping, or the fact that I never received what I had paid for.
Proper Customer Service would have been to help. They could offer the same part for half off or to replace that part OR anything to help offer a solution to the problem. I will definitely take my business elsewhere.
If you were willing to work with me, I would have happily spent more money with you, buying parts in the future, I would have given you a great review, AND my car would be fixed by now.
I ordered a front box protector for a 96 k2500 and they sent me a tailgate protector. When I called I got no apology Just a customer service rep. That had no patience and was Very obnoxious. Never do business with these people. Very difficult to get a return label even Its a long wait on hold also.
Terrible customer service even spoke to manager Anthony who assured me an answer to my missing parts a month later still no replies piss poor service. After reading the reviews on this company I see why everybody seem to have an issue I recommend you buy local universe cost you twice as much money because I never did get my parts it's been six weeks now they don't seem to care once I get your money you're done just ask Anthony!
