I ordered a fuel pump for my truck on June 3 it took nine days to receive it through Fed-X. I could have got it in three days through the postal service by priority mail and cheaper. Oh by the way Fed-X dropped if off at the postal service to deliver it ,as they did not complete the delivery but they got the money for it. It arrived at their facility within 8 miles of my house on June 8 and it took another 4 days for me to receive it . I wont use your service again. Sam H

Part was not made to oem specs. Bolt holes would not line up. Parts geek wanted me to pay return shipping on their mis-made part. As a doctor I know ethical vs unethical. I would never do business with them again.

First off, I own and operate a three man shop in a small community so we purchase parts from many different local and order/ship places. Stay with me here, read on please, I needed a radiator and charge air cooler for a large Ford truck and was having a problem tracking down parts so I end up at parts geek. I have never ever, ever dealt with such a jackass company in my life. My business has a post office box for mail and billing, and we have a physical address to ship to. These A holes, after two days decide nope, we ain't going to send the parts because billing and shipping address are different. So you basically cannot talk to a person and straighten anything out,, email them, and maybe they will respond. Anyway I have to change my address on our company credit card of 15 YEARS. to match our physical address then my cc company had to get a hold of them for a three way call sit on hold forever. Finally they decide to ship my parts. Then comes the real rub, THEY MAILED MY PARTS TO MY ORIGINAL MAIL/BILLING ADDRESS and guess what, mailing 120 lbs. in a big box your parts become damaged junk.

Tip for consumers: STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!! THEY ARE LEGAL CROOKS

This may not be everyone's experience. But I ordered this part for my 2010 Scion XB. They sent me a completely different part. They still advertise this as fits to a 2010 Scion XB. I requested a replacement for my car. But I was only able to get a return RMA. And I will have to pay shipping. Basically, I am having to pay for the shipping of an item that was incorrectly sent to me. I reached out to the customer service. they picked up after I waited 15 minutes on the phone. And, the person simply said " we do not provide pre-paid shipping labels" and hung up on me.

My advice: Avoid from this company.

I order two new sets of calipers for my Jeep Wrangler, plus a bunch of other items for the front suspension. Everything arrived in a reasonable amount of time. There was a question about the order and I contact PartsGeek and I get an e-mail that they are looking into it. Then I get an e-mail that a return authorization will be arriving by e-mail. I don't want to return anything. Almost a week goes by and I call Customer Service and finally got a human. Like a broken record he keeps telling me that they are looking into it, but there is nothing that he can tell me about when my parts order.. Then HE HANGS UP ON ME. Oh really!! Let me offer my deepest apologies for doing business with you and sending you my money. How silly of me.

Addendum: OK, PartsGeek gets back to me after I made a bunch of noise and we got things resolved. However, the customer service representative hung up on me, and I notice from reading other reviews that he hangs up on a lot of PartsGeek's customers. No more ordering from PartsGeek.

Parts geek return policy makes customers pay for their mistakes. I bought c.v axle . The part was wrong and faulty . The shipping would have cost me more than what the part cost , so I'm stuck with scrap metal. You can never talk to live person , unless you want to buy something, after that good luck

Like the title says, I tried to order a water pump for my 1995 bmw 325i. When I got to the checkout, it would not accept my American Express prepaid card. It kept saying the billing address was wrong like they had knowledge of the card beforehand. I tried several times to order my part. I even called American Express customer service to see if my card was fine. During the call, it said I had $92.00 from the total $100 the card started out with. Confused, I went to check my card's balance history online. It turns out, all the times my card wasn't "accepted", Parts Geek charged me for it! "PARTS GEEK LIMITED LIABIL - Purchase (AXP) w/ Bal Return & AVS" I got this message 8 Times! They stole $8 from my card! I sent them a nice letter to see if I can get my money back. I doubt they will respond... EDIT: I talked to a customer service rep. Apparently, they only cards that have addresses assigned to them. And here I am sitting with $92 and $8 Parts Geek is holding for liability reasons... Never using this garbage site again.

Do not trust in this company. They are not accountable to sell low quality and wrong parts. All the parts bought in their site were not compatible to the year model of the car as described by them. Save money, time and hassle NOT BUYING from this non responsible, they really do not car about selling and shipping wrong parts because they will never refund neither pay the return shipping cost regardless if they sent you the wrong part. Avoid headaches!

Order indicates ball joints however I received a brake sensor cable. Every time I try to call them they hang up on me. All I get are automated emails. Then they want me to pay shipping to return the part. Told me to take a picture as proof. I sent them the picture and now they've told me for 3 days someone will get back to me when they figure out what happened in the warehouse. I had to buy locally and just want my money back at this point. Stay away from PartsGeek. Big ripoff!

Recently, I had to upgrade my automobile air conditioning system from R12 to R134a. Getting AC parts for a 1991 Nissan is no easy task. After some research on the Net, I happened upon Parts Geek which seemed to have exactly what I needed at reasonable prices.

I did most of the AC work on my own car, flushing the lines, installing a new compressor, o-rings, etc. I ordered a new Filter-Drier from Parts Geek and it arrived promptly, now note their return policy:

"Return Policy - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
We have a 30 day return policy. We must be contacted within 30 days of receipt for an RMA number. We will not accept any returns after 30 days, no exceptions. All returns including cores require an RMA number. You MUST fill out a support ticket on our website for an RMA number. We will NOT accept return requests via phone. DO NOT send back any parts without first obtaining an RMA number via e-mail, or else your credit will be delayed significantly. Please visit our website and click on Customer Service for further details."

I installed the new filter-drier and pulled down the system to 29 inches of mercury but the AC system began to leak as soon as the vacuum pump shut off. I checked the system for leaks but couldn't identify any even though the system had green dye in the PAG oil and had been run briefly.

I had to put my car in a local Kansas AC shop and they called to tell me the new Filter-Drier was defective, leaking around the sight glass. The shop replaced the filter drier, pumped it down and charged the system with R134a. It then worked fine.

Now instead of being able to repair and upgrade my auto AC system for less than $200, I wound up paying over $500 because of that defective drier not to mention the time and aggravation I experienced getting an approved RMA number to get the defective part returned for credit. And then they wouldn't pay the shipping for me to return their defective part!

You get a confirming email from Parts-Geek on any order which contains the customer order number, if you don't have that number they won't assist you. They have no other way to identify your order. And Parts Geek has no telephone contact number on their website, I had to do a separate search to acquire their 800 number. When you call, you get their automated menu so they can screen customers by the type of part ordered. Parts-Geek customer representatives are rude, not very knowledgeable and like to make you keep repeating the order number as you attempt to resolve a parts issue.

Here is their order policy:

"Please do not reply to this message. This e-mail was sent from a notification-only e-mail address that cannot accept incoming e-mail. If you need to contact Customer Service, please open a support ticket on our Customer Service page.

To track your package, please visit the carriers website and simply input the tracking number. All UPS tracking numbers begin with 1Z, (e.g., 1Z69R2R70315956544) All FedEx numbers are 15 digits long and do not include any letters (e.g., 04751198048715). All US MAIL tracking numbers are 20 digits long and do not include any letters (e.g., 0123 4567 8910 1112).

* Please note that ALL tracking information may not be available immediately or at the same time. Please allow 24 hours after receiving the tracking number for the shipping carrier to update their web site.

* As indicated on our website, we do not offer weekend or holiday delivery. Therefore, any overnight or second day orders placed on Friday will not arrive until the following business day.

* If you receive a damaged package, do not accept the package. You can either refuse the package or contact the shipping carrier to refuse the package. You have 24 hours to refuse the package. We will not be responsible for the return of carrier damaged products.

* We have a 30 day return policy. No returns are accepted without a return authorization number. We must be contacted within 30 days of receipt for an RMA number. We will not accept any returns after 30 days, no exceptions."

How would you get an RMA for a carrier damaged package? The answer: You wouldn't and if that carrier turned out to be UPS, you'd likely be out the entire cost of whatever you bought. I had to get an approved RMA to return the defective filter-drier. I included an email from my local AC Shop indicating the filter-drier was defective.as I wasn't certain they'd take my word for it. I also had to pay to ship back the defective filter-drier; they refuse to pay any return shipping charges no matter what the circumstances. Here are some further testimonies to Parts Geek's crappy service, there are plenty of other complaints. http://partsgeek.pissedconsumer.com/

I was asked to rate Parts Geek on Trust Pilot: Click here to rate us on Trustpilot
http://link.trustpilot.com/wf/click?upn=R1-2FA0sQoli0eFsm7iPMThm-2FU6YC4OZy6LFEqwB1K8wWv4AZ4lNlakMBdRjjcowXvr6TimtYqQ5amM-2FZ9fywcHG1SPbEDxqKZitxlQmYh3sE-3D_IOAMTfHbNKRiHKDPzm5RnpRj6PrLcL-2FXmsJahODj0bqISiu-2FC3g5KCTo9OqJHwmILejmDgEM303SlwFPf9Dzv-2B8bLq6ASJ79ka2-2BEOUIzffkXL7UaFGN6vK7i4aB5JQ5bh7XYj6U4KE58Qie7Rl3SIp1sVzpHprTNBBpa1IHzCo4yyPmeaXURw1BdbNSXhoGXeWvTbsmI-2FjZ1JXm-2F9x-2F2xH42-2BaStWz-2BBknP7DBojNqw-2FYLKvjDY2kUdK4HPTzfGQJbJhVOwn2TI0WjInPri1poh-2BCgYsgxsnVaTz0vY9Pk-3D

I gave them one star out of five because that was as low as the system would let me go. Here was the Parts-Geek credit response on the defective filter-drier I returned.

"Please DO NOT REPLY to this message. (we will not receive it) To contact us you MUST open a support ticket on our Customer Service page.

This is to inform you that your credit was processed today.

Invoice Number: 15-xxxxxxxx
Shipping: $9.95
Parts: $12.08
Total Credit: $22.03"

UPDATE ***** Bank ledger entries show the following credits from Parts-Geek..same order..same carrier..same destination

CREDIT 1831 PARTS GEEK, LLC 800-5419352, NJ $9.95

CREDIT 1834 PARTS GEEK, LLC 800-5419352, NJ $22.03

But on the second filter-drier I inadvertently ordered I only received $9.95 credit. When I asked the customer rep why I didn't get the full amount of $12.08, he hung up on me. The next time I called, I asked why is there a difference in shipping charges, i.e. (1st - drier) $22.03 - $12.08 = $9.95 and (2nd Drier) $12.08 - 9.95 = $2.13? He claims I had to pay return shipping on an order that I refused delivery on. This makes no sense! You can also read my complaints on Yelp.at
https://www.yelp.com/user_details_reviews_self?userid=MX0V4_la3KGS24QlKVc_Fw&review_sort=time

During the 2nd call to Parts-Geek, the customer rep said he needed to put me on hold while he checks into the shipping discrepancy and then after about 10+ minutes on hold, listening to their endless repetitive elevator music, the connection was terminated. Both of these identical parts traveled via the same carrier to the same location, so the refund should have been the same. The order refund was INTENTIONALLY shorted, there is no other plausible explanation. No doubt, it's how they limit their expenses on damaged or defective items.

Parts-Geek also overcharges you on the shipping, I spent $9.02 USPS charges to use the same carrier as Part-Geek to return a defective filter-drier to the same location that I was charged $9.95 to have it shipped to me originally from a commercial business. It's not a lot of money to be out for sure but if this is done on small orders what might you expect on a large one when returning a defective item?

Apparently, Parts Geek doesn't bother checking anything before it ships out, What's quality control? Basically you get whatever is on the shelf in whatever condition it is at the time. Who cares? They already got your money. And, they'll probably put your item right back on the shelf when they receive it and then ship it out to someone else.

Second Update: I can see why Parts Geek is not a member of the Better Business Bureau but I went ahead and added my complaint to the New Jersey affiliate anyway, complaint ID 11568737. I'd say the following complaints pretty much characterize Parts Geek practices, i.e. problems with Product/Service.

"This business is not BBB accredited.
Customer Complaints Summary Read complaint details :"http://www.bbb.org/new-jersey/business-reviews/auto-parts-and-supplies-new/parts-geek-in-marlton-nj-26001418/complaints#breakdown

As long as there are no consequences to their business the customer abuses at Parts Geek will continue. Firing inept and/or rude representatives will not accomplish anything, Parts-Geek will simply train new inept and rude ones to take their place,

UPDATE final CREDIT 1803 07/20/16 74948702 PARTS $12.08
GEEK, LLC 800-5419352

After this article posted on NewPatriotsBlog.com with its BBB Parts Geek complaint history, the company finally saw the error of their ways and repaid me for the expenses of returning the defective filter-drier and the shipping costs associated with refusing a second filter-drier. Now that's properly serving your customers, just as J.C. Whitney and other great companies do without having to be forced through bad publicity.. Apparently, Parts Geek had to learn the hard way!

I ordered two aftermarket headlights (left/right sides) for a Mercedes.I received two packages.
One headlight was correct the other was for a newer style BMW. They mistamped the package at the warehouse. I called customer service the first time. Before I even get to give my name I get hung up on.
Second time I speak with a man named Richard. I send him an email and shortly he contacts me back and says the correct headlamp was not found (they had no more stock of) and I would have to purchase a different brand that was $140 dollars more AND different brands. He would discount $15 dollars for the inconvenience. I explained I need both lights to be the same manufacture but he was unable to get another.
Now parts geek already gives you $15 dollars off any purchase just by signing up for the email list. I explained that it was ridiculous that I have to now go ship the item, pay extra for a brand I don't even want and wait another week but all they could do was a $15 dollar discount. I had said the word "$#*!" in my statement (not directed towards him, just the situation) and he said not to curse at him. I told him I have a freedom of speech and was not cursing at him.
*** is an ok word and he hung up. YET AGAIN I called again and got in contact with Roman "front end manager". I explained how his representative "Richard" hung up and he said he is sorry that shouldn't of happened. Ok I let that go and went on how the situation happened.
He said all they could do was a $15 dollar discount and same old story. Roman stated he has no other higher up a customer can speak with and the *** customer service ends with him.
I told him I want to return both lights and he says they would refund me for the full amount on the wrong light but I still have to pay shipping on the other.I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THIS *** WEBSITE/COMPANY AGAIN!!!!!!

My order never made it to my house and it was automatically returned to shipper. The FedEx tracking number stopped tracking it once it was labeled as return to shipper and when I reached out to them, they indicated I needed to reach out to the company that shipped it.

I tried reaching out to Parts Geek multiple times via email and via phone to figure out what happened/if I could get it resent or refunded. Both phone calls ended with being hung up on and I have yet to receive a response via email. The customer service is a joke. I just want my part or a refund, I don't understand why it needs to be this complicated.

Ordered upper & lower rear control arms for for 1998 acura.
They sent 3 uppers and 1 lower arm. I reviewed order and shipping label and determined they sent the wrong parts. I had to send back extra upper control arm (at my cost) and reorder the lower left once again (I had to pay shipping again)for their mistake. Got the correct lower control arm and the bushing had come out of the arm during shipping. Was going to press in and it wouldn't stay in arm. Had to send this back for another refund (had to pay shipping again.) I'll never buy from them again. They need to make things right when they're at fault. I had to spend $52 extra in shipping to return a $72 part.

I ordered a third brake light back on 2Feb 2018 and as of today 2Apr2018, I never received my part... much more my refund on this particular part. Your company is very rude... would not assist me in trying to find a solution to this problem....as mentioned in many of the reviews I've already read, your company should have been buried a very long time ago! Many thanks for Nothing!

I purchased 2 Strut Assembly's paid for Express shipping and they sent the wrong parts. 18 Hours later they required me to provide a picture of the wrong part as proof which was sent. Still haven't heard back. I called customer service 2 times and after being on hold for around minutes each time they hung up on me. Are they doing this on purpose? Shipping wrong parts I'm sure happens but getting it resolved with these guy's is impossible. Customer Service is frustratingly poor.

Question:
Answer:

I ordered a blower motor resistor control for my Lexus and recieved a rear defog on/off switch for a "I don't know what" in a used box. The paper that came with the part was correct for what I ordered. I got a return approval to return the item. What happens if I return the the part and it does not match the paper work that came with the wrong part? I Immediately contacted my bank and put the charge on my bank card in dispute along with all supporting data. I would call this "practiced fraud".
