Usually have good luck with Parts Avatar but when to go put new pad on my Volvo and the ones they shipped me are not even close to the right fit. Confirmed with an agent on their chat with the vin # and could off any explanation but is been escalated. It's been two days and I have a car with the brakes torn apart and no follow up to fix it.
Disappointed with the website: the image shows 2 wipers, they were the only selection for me showing 2 wipers in the images, but only 1 was delivered. Looking back I can see my error, but PartsAvart needs to get this corrected. Bosch EVO.
Lets start by saying this is the second oil pressure switch ordered through Parts Avatar, the first was the wrong sensor, not an oil pressure sensor and not a sensor for my truck period. This is a reattempt. And I won't be ordering from them again unless there's a dire emergency. When I ordered this particular oil pressure sensor on Nov 18, I had 3 options. To pick it up at the warehouse in 1-2 days, as I usually do, to have it shipped normal priority, which would have delivered it on the 24-35th, or rapid delivery, which had a delivery date of the 20-21st for an added cost. I wanted to do the install on the weekend, so like a fool I paid extra for rapid delivery. On the 19th I got an email saying it was delivered. It wasn't. On the 20th I got a notice it was shipped it wasn't. On the 22nd I spoke to customer service to find out what happened, he didnt care, said it hadn't shipped yet. On the morning of the 24th, I got a shipping notice again, and finally got the part the evening of the 24th. Parts Avatar is routinely wrong on shipping dates and its 50/50 on if the Parts right, and now I get to wait for another week until the following weekend, missing decent weather waiting on this part just so I can do the work in sub zero temps praying that this is the right sensor. Once upon a time Parts Avatar was semi okay for simple parts, but somewhere in the last few years they started shipping out junk. Even when you speak to customer service and they swear up and down that your Parts are confirmed for your vehicle, there's a good chance theyre wrong. Now an oil pressure sensor isn't a complicated part, but we'll see.
Not impressed with the shipping (canada post) ordered Nov 1st, it was stated I would have my parts on Nov 4-5, they did not even ship until Nov 5th and arrived on the 10th. Far too slow to release parts. The competition is not this slow even in Canada. Price was competitive on the part ordered but little else.
This website has major issues, do not trust part descriptions at all! I ordered LEAF SPRINGS Parts Avatar thought that sending me a 5 piece set of dorman grommets that are literally the size of pennies was accurate to the description of LEAF SPRINGS! Used broken parts. The box was sealed, but the packages inside were teared and opened and sticky tape back together. I've submitted a refund.
The parts were delivered on schedule but when I opened the main shipping box, I noticed that the rear rotors were different sizes. The sticker on the box had the same part number but the rotors inside the box were totally different sizes. Over an hour dealing with two different people over chat, taking pictures etc., and at the end I finally received an email with a ticket number. That was Friday morning, and it is now Monday evening and that's all I hear are crickets!
I had originally planned for my son to visit for the weekend from out of town to do this brake job which I unfortunately had to delay until this coming weekend. If I don't get confirmation that my delivery with the correct rotor will arrive before the end of the week, I will most likely return the whole order and visit my local Carquest to purchase the proper parts.

Part Avatar provides a delivery form, and I included all the required details—phone number and buzz code—but they now deny having that information. This shows a lack of reliability and trustworthiness.
Their site said the part fit my vehicle and it did not and now having a huge hassle to return it. I wwould not recommed this site unless you know every tiny detail about the part you need.

When I placed the order shipping was estimated but my shipment was significantly pasted this estimation.
My package was marked as delivered, but nothing ever showed up — and I was home the entire day. I even have camera footage proving no one came to my door. I reached out to customer service right away and was told to wait 24 hours for an update. When no one followed up, I contacted them again — only to be told to wait another 24 hours. This has now gone on for 5 days, and every time I reach out, I get the same response with no real help or investigation. I'm now out the money and the product, and the company refuses to take accountability. It honestly feels like they're stalling until customers give up. This experience has been beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable.

My purchase was shipped on the 7th October and delivery dates was promised for the 9th - 10th October. I did not receive the items till the 14th October. I quite understand that delivery dates could shift, but this has to be explained to the customer. I had to seek alternative spares from somewhere else.
It's hard to connect with their return policy when I tried to contact them. I was trying to connect with online chat but no one responded and still it was saying that we are currently working with you by the time no one show up.

It's a great feature to be able to pay for rapid delivery, but this time was awful. Delivery was apparently delivered at 9.40pm, at the bottom of my 200ft driveway, 1.5-2ft off the main road.
My email claims to be left at my door step. Who ever does your deliveries should be fired. Anyone with a brain knows that was a stupid place to leave hundreds of dollars of parts. I would be way more mad if they disappeared, which is very common in today's times. Atleast the parts look right, we will find out tomorrow if they fit.
