I had bought some parts from Parts Avatar which were unfortunately defective on arrival. No problem, just return right?
We emailed Parts Avatar about their return process and we shipped it out using our own money. As soon as the parts reached their warehouse, they stopped replying and start pretending to not see our emails. We haven't received a response in weeks and no refund has been received. It's unfortunate really and will be avoiding all things Parts Avatar related, will also not recommend to family and friends. If you're reading this, buy locally or check Rockauto or other sites, don't say I didn't warn you.

Looking to replace brakes on my Silverado 1500. Based on their Web Fitment Recommendation I bought rotors and pads. Called back because the rear rotors I wanted were back ordered. I provided the VIN and GM replacement part number received directly from GM dealership but their "chat" help could not figure it out. So now I am concerned... so I looked up the parts I had already ordered and not surprisingly there is a problem. This is what they show for the exact same part for the same vehicle taken within 30 seconds of each. So what's the message here... do not trust them to recommend parts either from the web or in the chat. What a waste of time and money.

I have received on July 8th, but I suppose to get them between july2-4th. The only reason that i want to buy a part from you was delivery time. This is not acceptable for business. I prefer to buy them from another local shop and get them all in same day. Your customer service are only said to me 'sorry'. They didn't even try to win me or offer me something to make me feel better. I don't think, i will buy any parts from you.

I've used parts avatar before. Their website is great, easy to navigate, easy to order from and relatively fast and free delivery. Only problem is the part didn't work out of the box. I'll get my money back, less the return shipping. That leaves a bad taste in the mouth, unfortunately.

My Hood came in damaged and I was told to either; bring it to purolator 45 minutes away and then wait until that is input then they would process the replacement and wait for that while driving without a hood, or; take a 10% discount. That's not enough to cover my gas to drop it off let alone the repair cost. Terrible company policies and I will never recommend or purchase from parts avatar again.

I ordered 2 calipers for the front of my car. The right side came with a slide bracket that would not slide. It took a week to get an RMA and then I had to order a replacement. This time I had to pay for shipping, another cost I should not have incurred. This second caliper came with a broken bleeder screw as well as a tapered bolt hole in the slide bracket. The threads do not catch or engage until the very end of the bracket, see attached video. Very unsafe!
PartsAvatar did rush the second caliper to me because I was on a deadline. Unfortunately because it was bad too...
I had no choice but to use my old slide bracket as I needed to get the car to the shop for its Dyno tuning appointment. They are booked up a month in advance.

They say stuff will be delivered in a certain time frame, good luck if your parts are even shipped by the end of the time frame. Have you waiting on parts for forever. Avoid this place at all costs. Customer service is horrible as well.

Ordered parts, was missing one gasket. After 10 days and multiple emails/chats asking for updates on replacement part to be sent. Was told I would get a refund and not get my part resent like I had been asking for all along. The part is still in stock. Response times to questions are stated as being 12-24 hours, which is never the case. It's more the 3-4 days even though Sales Agent "promise" to have an update. Anytime you do get to talk to someone they make false promises and lip service about looking into the issue. I understand that mistakes happen when picking parts, but to get no help with service after the fact that is the problem.

Put my vehicle detail. Ordered premium rotors and brakes pad. I received regular rotors and break pad which doesn't even fits my car. Talked to the customer service they didn't admit there mistake and then I have to Shipped back on my own cost 87 bucks. Restock fee they changed me around 30 bucks overall lost 120 dollars. I highly suggest don't order from this site once you get the wrong order you gonna loose money 100% guarantee + time as well. And all the positive reviews are because after you order they want customer to give 5 star so you can get 20 % discount or money back. Negative reviews are the real reviews.

Bought an air conditioner compressor and clutch. Was faulty/broken as soon as it was installed. The part has to be installed in order to see this. Install cost is about $500.
No phone number to discuss the issue. Have to rely on online chat. Was simply directed to the website for the return process... just buy another one and we will credit you when the faulty one is sent back at your expense.
Simply not good enough and deplorable customer service and quality control.

I ordered Raybestos Rotors from Parts Avatar (R-Line rotors). I ordered on Feb 2023 and writing this in May 2023. The rotors have already become warped. I had my entire braking system checked and there is no issue (no sticking caliper, no bad pads, nothing) but even then the rotors have not even lasted me 3 months. When I wanted to go through warranty, they said warping does not cover. Also, the brakes I got said it was coated to prevent corrosion... what a lie that was. Now I am down $170 for brakes that lasted me less than an oil change. Will never be ordering parts from this scam of a store. Not happy with their parts not their customer

Ordered over $500 of parts. Contacted PartsAvatar after 4 days when I didn't receive a shipping notification. Was told it would be another 3 business days before parts ship. That means I wait 2 weeks total for parts that are supposedly in stock.
PartsAvatar would not let me cancel the urgent part of my order, despite THEIR delay.

Contacted them multiple times about an issue, kept getting disconnected before finishing communicating, had to contact four times and start over from the beginning. In the end no refund as of the circumstances no original packaging. They could have offered a partial refund IE Their markup but they squirmed their way out over packaging which was destroyed removing the product. Never deal with them again, there are Companies online who are more appreciative of their Customers.

My parts were damaged in shipping, basically getting hung out to dry by their team, want me to pay for a replacement then send them the broken one so I can sit around for weeks waiting on the parts and out twice as much money

A week ago I ordered $145.00 worth of parts and yesterday I get an email saying I had to pay another $100.00 shipping for courier i dont see how courier is involved when you ship by mail. I spoke to Parts Avatar after receiving a different looking part and this is their reply "The product images shown are for illustration purposes only and may not be an exact representation of the product". Wont be ordering anything again as I have no idea what I might receive next time!. They sent something different to what I wanted and now they want me to pay $49 for return shipping.
