I took my brother, Ben Brown, to O'Reilly Auto Parts at 4350, Stockton Drive in North Little Rock to pick up parts from the warehouse that he had purchased from another store earlier in the day. He went into the busy store in front of the warehouse and waited in line with his receipt. When it was his turn, they looked at his receipt and told
Him he could go to the back of the warehouse to pick up his part. On his way, he was confronted by an employee who claimed to have in hand a counterfeit hundred dollar bill that Ben supposedly just purchased parts with. The counterfeiter was long gone before they figured out that the bill was counterfeit so they pointed the finger at Ben. When the lady who waited on the counterfeiter rushed to alert management, Ben was still in line waiting to be served. She never waited on him and he never handed anyone in the store anything but a receipt. The police swarmed in and handcuffed Ben and put him in the police car. The police tried to investigate but the O'Reilly Auto Parts Counter is the only place on the planet with no video surveillance. They released him but took his receipt for evidence and said he could not get his part because he is no longer allowed on O'Reilly property and the case is still pending.
I was able to get a refund for the part from the original store where Ben made his purchase. I am copying this review to every site I can find. If anyone has legal knowledge pertaining this case and others like it, please share it with me. Thank you.
DO NOT BUY BATTERIES FROM THEM
TRYED TO GET TWO BATTERIES BELONGING TO DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY. THEY GIVE ME EVERY EXCUSE NOT TO REPLACE THEM. BATTERIES ARE LESS THEN A YEAR OLD STILL HAVE 2 YEAR LEFT OF WARRANTY CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY POOR. ATTITUDE
Tony from store 6316, came to my rescue with his knowledge about my car and was able to helped me out tremendously. His patience and knowledge in the car business are amazing.
I had the pleasure of dealing with a young man named Alphonso at the O'Reilly autoparts in Wylie, Tx. He made sure I got the part I needed and the biggest thing is he LISTENED to what my situation was. I was in and out and the part actually fixed the problem with my Dodge Caravan.
Joe helped my husband and I out with our battery he let us know the starter was good and the alternator was also good he went the extra effort we thank him.
I ordered front cv axles from the Oreillys on 5220 Stone Mountain HWY. After taking nearly 45 minutes to order the parts, I was told the parts would arrive at the store approximately 3 hrs later. When I went to pick up the parts, they were the WRONG PARTS. I ordered cv axles for a 2005 Acura RL, and got cv axles for Honda Civic. The good news is I went to another Oreillys (In Snellville, GA) to find this out before I paid my mechanic to put them on. The gentleman explained to me the parts I was given were not the right parts. So now I have go to a different Oreillys across town and return the cv axles and hope they have the ones I need... and make sure they are right ones. Very frustrating.
Went in to 4503 o'Reilly's, to purchase brake pads, because i have lifetime warranty only to receive wrong pads, had no idea they were wrong because im not a mechanic, went back for a refund. Store manager Hector said he would not refund me because I had no warranties, called 1800# they said I indeed had warranty, but since sales person gave me the wrong brake pads. And mind you they are already installed in my vehicle, Hector a short, chubby guy says Ill refund you, but we need the brake pads back. Ridiculous I already paid for labor.
Your mistake and im paying more. Anyway, learned my lesson NEVER SHOP@ OREILLYS! Because what just happened to me will happen to someone else. Had to pay for brake pads for a different vehicle after I specifically asked for brake pads to my vehicle. And after i already have a lifetime warranty all only because they chose to give me the wrong brake pads. Stay away from oReillys especially from 4503 Blanco rd. They will give customers wrong parts and Hector will make it seem like its your fault. Like you work there.
The guy Eric was very rude and when I told him what I needed he told me I was wrong. I knew what I needed was right. When I went to another parts place they gave it to me no problem.
I needed a new battery. Daman helped me find a battery and he came out and helped me install it! His customer service was excellent! I believe he went above and beyond!
I've spent thousands on lifetime parts only to find out that I'm not in their data base?...even with my receipts, they won't honor them!...never again!
4/1/2020 Called this store after experiencing technical difficulties occurred on website. Spoke with Alisa (?) Worst customer service EVER! Only wanted two parts. Kept saying "WHAT?" and "WAIT, WAIT HOLD ON ONE MINUTE" and "OH, OKAY, CAN YOU GIVE THAT TO ME AGAIN." She was talking to in-store customers and other techs while on the phone with me then, after all of this, she had the nerve to place me on hold. I waited for six minutes, while I cooked breakfast. Finally looked on e phone for the time I'd waited and hung up... and called BILL at the 2165 WASHTENAW AVE Oreilly's store. It was BILL who saved the sale for Oreilly's. I was so ready to make my purchase with AutoZone!
Our customer service person was Willam. He was amazing and so helpful. He went above and beyond to help me figure out what I needed. I will recommend. 04/04/2021
I was at the oreilly store Laramie WY and this one worker was been very rood to me and when I was at the parts desk he would take and be looking up parts for other people wheal I was standing their and he would be calling up people to the desk that were be hind me. So I took and walked out. And went to the pace across the street I don't think I will step foot in to a another oreillys every again and the parts Anthony
I specifically asked them for front brake pads on a 2010 Ford Focus and they gave me rear brake pads. Aren't you guys supposed to know the front brakes from the back. And these are the people that you trust! How do you work at a car place but you don't know the front brakes from the back brakes. WILL NOT BE GETTING MY MONEY ANYMORE!
I HAVE BEEN BUYING AUTO PARTS FOR MY BUSINESS FOR OVER 30 YEARS. I HAVE USED AUTOZONE, ADVANCE AND AUTOWORKS AUTO PARTS STORES. ABOUT FIVE YEARS AGO, I STARTED USING O'REILLY AUTO PARTS AND NOW HAVE THE BEST PARTS STORE IN MY AREA, VAN WERT, OHIO. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCEPTIONAL AND THE MANAGEMENT GOES ALL OUT TO PROVIDE ANY TECHNICAL OR PRODUCT INFO AVAILABLE TO ENSURE QUALITY PARTS. O'REILLY IS THE BEST AND HOPEFULLY HERE TO STAY FOR YEARS AND YEARS TO COME! GREAT JOB TO J. D. AND ALL THE GUYS AT THE VAN WERT; OHIO LOCATION.
I messed up and got my oil filter stuck in the block of my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500.
I am no mechanic and not too familiar with mechanic lingo. I called the Other Auto Part but received poor assistance then I remember how helpful the older woman was at the Oreily's on Lockwood
Near Calvacade in Houston so I called the Oreily's on Homestead and LIttle York across from the Other Part place which was not helpful and he did not h ace the tool but unlike the Part place across the street he checked without me asking the other Oreily's in the area whom did not have the tool so beyond my expectations he located the Toole at even another Auto Part Supply place, gave me the Part # a n d sent me to go get my needed tool.
I really wanted to give him a tip.
Thanks Oreily's
This review is for the 2 gentleman at the Reseda O Reillys Auto parts store. Both of them by some coincidence have the same name. Andrew. I have a small Auto and motorcycle repair shop in Tarzana.I told the 2 Andrews that I was lookin for a fuel related product, I needed it to finish this Scooter that a customer was waiting for. They said they would help me anyway they could. All 3 of us started brainstorming. 1 Andrew on the computer and the other Andrew on the sales floor searching for a possible replacement. These 2 gentleman went the extra mile to help me with my customer. Plus it was 15 minutes till closing time. They helped find the part I needed and never complained about the store closing. Finally I received the perfect part to fix this customers 2011 Lance 150. I got to the shop, installed it and the customer rode away with a smile on his face. All because the 2 Andrews were so good at there job. I want to thank them and Oriellys for hiring these 2 gentleman with such positive attitudes while dealing with customers. 5 Stars all the way for the 2 Andrews.I will definitely send my family and business associates to the Reseda store as well.Hopefully they can help them, the way they helped me. Thanks Greg.
While working on a car, we needed a part, so ordered it for pick up. We didn't receive it's ready email, so I decided to go in to pick it up and if anything, it could be pulled from the shelf. When I got there, there were two gentlemen working at the desk and no customers. Leroy was apparently new or had a cognitive disability and couldn't find the part in the back. After looking unsuccessfully for about ten minutes he decided to go get it from the front of the store. That was also difficult for him. Eventually, he found it. His manager, Tyler, showed him how to ring it up and asked for my ID. I didn't have an ID, but I had the email of the paid receipt for this $8 part. HE WOULDN'T GIVE IT TO ME! I get it, they need to know it is paid for and getting picked up by the right person, but it was an $8 part and I had the receipt. I had to go home and return with my license to pick up. He didn't even ask for proof it was paid for. A little common sense would have been great. Tyler is not a customer-first manager (he said he was the manager, sad choice by OReily if that's true}.
Flagstaff Arizona to be exact, the West side O'Rielly's store manager is rude and racists towards Native Americans by telling Natives to "Get out of my store"!
"you don't belong here", I tried to return a dead battery for Refund, because it's covered by a 2 year warranty, and not to mention the state laws "warranty of merchantability" means it has to work as intended for the purpose it was made, and if does not work it is covered by warranty to be returned when defective and bad. AutoZone and Carquest, will immediately for refund and O'Rielly's will not honor their promise to satisfy the customer, but instead yells at the customers by saying "Get out of my store"! Does this long haired manager own the franchise? He said he is the owner, and he yelled that it's his store. I will not shop at any O'Rielly's any more, Ever! They lost a loyal customer tonight, not to mention the Racism by this Angleo guy manager behind the counter in Flagstaff Arizona, West side O'Rielly's on Route 66. Boycott this ugly place! Do not shop at this O'Rielly's ever! I have never been treated so badly in my life!
Answer: I never have an idea, but I think contacting the support crew will help do
