With this exception,
I don't write good or bad reviews. I feel there's more important things to do. In my opinion, choosing to be a customer or not, is much more effective. That said, I've had two two experiences where the staff at the O'Reilly store off of Temecula Pkwy in Temecula CA have gone Over and Beyond what is needed for great customer service.
A young lady (she works on cars herself) stayed open past closing time for me because I was broken down with a failed alternator on my Civic 30 miles from home. She answered the phone one minute before they closed at 10PM (nobody stays open late like O'Reilly) heard my desperate plea, and made her decision to wait for me. It was a game changer in my position and I was back on the road headed to my family within an hour. That's was a heartfelt experience that always makes me call them first to spend my money on automotive needs. I wish I knew her name but from the bottom of my heart, thank-you.
Second, my 2019 Silverado TrailBoss blew the serpentine belt to shreds, 40 miles from any auto store. Called O'Reilly first and the gentleman, a giggly guy, had one at his Moreno Valley hub, ordered it for me, and I had it by 5PM. I had time on my hands broken down and waiting so I thought I'd get another back up belt, since I drive and play rough in my truck. I prefer OEM parts but funny enough, not even the Chevy dealerships had a single one in stock. Napa? Nope. Autozone? Not a chance. Advanced Auto? 3 day wait time. Pep Boys? 2 day wait time... and only O"Reilly could get me out of a serious issue that day. They've earned my business for life! I'd also like to thank Michelle for always helping me find the right parts I need with patience and care. Thanks again to all the employees at the Temecula Parkway O'Reilly store!
Guys, this is the best Auto Parts store I've evr used, if you need quality parts for the great price, this is the best solution
Ordered a drain plug for a Rolls Royce and they sent me a 1/2 inch one, 1/2 inch for a British (metric system) duh
The worse service is at the Olive Branch MS location where bad employees are rewarded by being allowed to continue their bad service.
Confusing mess getting parts from Hreensburg and Uniontown PA stores. Told different things, no call back as promosed, run around. Etc. Painful.
Alexander from the Race Track road store in fort Walton Beach *******, was so helpful that I hope his customer service is recognized and awarded.
Come to this store, I just left there, the one I went to to change the battery, it is the second time this week, the first time they told me that the battery was good, that I should continue using it, and anything that came back, today it came back, I found out that as it is a guarantee, it had to come with the battery in hand, something that although it is a rule I do not understand, but well, remove the battery, and as is common these days, they did not have in the store, they offered me another that according to the second person who attended me, a fat man with a beard, Servia, I had no choice but to pay the difference and I kept waiting, because they always come out to put the battery, every time I asked, the same fat man with a beard, with a Puerto Rican accent, he told me that they didn't go out when it was raining, it had rained, at that time it had cleared up, I explained it to him but he didn't flinch, I went out, and when I was putting on the battery, another worker approached me and told me, the insurance plate is not going to catch on the chassis, because that is not the one that your car has, anyway, with I had to leave that one because I had no other choice, I make this count, so that you can observe, that here, there is mistreatment, bureaucracy, ridiculous measures that threaten the client, the one who approached me, surprised, I wonder, are you putting the battery, he breathed and said, these guys, they don't want to work, they lost a client today, hopefully this reaches the executives of that company, so that they take action, and it doesn't happen to other clients……….there I, so Less, I won't go back anymore. (This is the store that is in Hillsborough, and Louis!)
I purchased a battery last year one year and three months ago it cost me almost $150 so here we are a one year and three months later and the battery goes out this tells me that this was a bad product to begin with I had purchased it from O'Reillys I take the battery back to O'Reilly‘s they proceed to tell me that the warranty is only for one year on that particular battery now keep in mind I paid almost $150 for this battery last year so upon discussing this with the store staff I was told that I would have to purchase a brand new battery at full price when I explain to them that I only bought the battery one year and three months ago they did not care and do not do not try reaching out to the corporate office because they don't give two $#*!s either as soon as they have your money their obligation to you is over and this is how I perceived my visit to the store this O'Reilly's on Towson Avenue in Fort Smith Arkansas is where this has taken place so I just want to let you know Do not waste your time with O'Riley's I visited Walmart today and discovered that they are batteries start at $59 and go to about 99 and their warranties for a $99 battery is I believe three years the $59 battery I believe had a warranty of one year I paid $150 for that battery last year and had to buy another one because they refused to exchange the battery at no cost to me do not make the same mistake by going to O'Reillys and not waste your time go directly to Walmart at least they treat their customers well if I had purchased my Battery from Walmart they would have exchanged it at no cost to me O'Reillys had proceeded to tell me that the battery only had the one year warranty on it they absolutely refused to make this right so I'm just telling you before in the dark and the doors of O'Riley's expect to get screwed go somewhere else go anywhere else because this is the type of service that they give their customers
Can't deliver the parts they say they have. Won't answer the phone! The district manager is a joke.
