I ordered a chair under the premise that they would "If for any reason you wish to return your chair, we will promptly issue a refund pursuant to our terms of service." This is a complete lie. I have tried to return the chair and they have refused over and over to send me a return label. This site is a scam. Stay away from it.
Stay away from this website! They say you can shop with "confidence" with free returns within 30 days but what actually happens is they don't tell you when your chair will arrive or when it ships.
I waited two weeks and cancelled my order after no communication on when it was shipping, the chair showed up 10 days after I cancelled (three weeks in total) at my door so I immediately emailed them saying I cancelled this order and would like a return label and refund. I was told my order was not cancelled because they shipped it anyway AFTER I cancelled and that unless there's a defect in the chair the CONSUMER has to pay for shipping and there's a 35% restock fee.
This business is a scam do not fall for it, order from a manufacturer don't end up wasting your money.
They are not forthcoming about availability and delivery. I had cancelled my order with more than enough time to cancel and in her email reply even stated that it was not ready for shipping and would expedite in a time frame I would not be home. To be clear, they were already not meeting their published delivery schedule. If you choose this vendor, get details of availability and realistic shipping - otherwise you do not get a full refund - free $50 for them! DON'T BUY FROM HERE!

I ordered a chair in mid-December 2022 and was notified my order was in process. I contacted customer support in mid-January and was told that it takes 30 days for them to put the chair together and ship it out. They told me that with the holidays, that time was extended. It is now almost February, and my chair is still IN PROCESS. It does NOT take that long to put a stupid chair together. I will never use this site again.
The Web site was easy to navigate. Customer service was wonderfully prompt. The chair was delivered during my office hours and on a day when I said that I would be available to accept the delivery. The chair is great, a wonderful product, but I had a little trouble assembling it. The back of the chair had a wire that was supposed to be run through at a particular place, and I wasn't sure where it needed to go; so, I scraped up the wire a bit where the seat and the back of the chair came together. It's probably just an aesthetic problem, and I figured out the proper assembly in the end, but a simple diagram might have helped. This chair is the best that I've ever had, great for posture. It's done wonders for my stress levels in the office.

This company *appears* to be operating under a new company name (officechairatwork.com) as seatingmind.com. We had multiple big ticket issues with "refurbished" chairs ordered from there, and absolutely no customer service help. They want videos uploaded to youtube as "proof" of broker chairs, to then only tell you they are not covered by warranty, even though they left the warehouse broken. Just a big headache to deal with, that could have been preventable. Does not sell authorized refurbished used Herman Miller chairs. You can email herman miller for confirmation that they are not an authorized dealer.
I would give zero stars if i could. Ordered a chair on 8/2 and was told would ship in 10 to 14 business days. Followed up at 13 business days and then was told they were running behind and should have told be 10 to 20 days. Followed up at day 21 and was told that it was 10 to 25 days. When i pressed for an actual ship date. Was told the same day that i was told 10 to 25 on day 21 which means they had 4 days to ship that they checked with shipping and the chair would ship in 7 to 14 more days. So they are now saying that it will take 28 to 35 business days to ship a chair. This is a bad company. They have no issue charging your card the day that you order. Do not order from them.

Never received the chair, asked or a reimbursement, it has been over 60 days and still no funds. Filed a claim with Paypal and OCAW initiates the reimbursement so Paypal closes the case but they never complete it. This business is a scam...
Sent 7 emails, to OCAW- no response, they won't respond to phone calls either...
The do not send new refurbished chairs, they send very old chairs that they can not properly fix. Then when you ask for a refund they give a only a partial refund, they charge you a rental fee. Fraud. Attorney General should get involved in closing them.
This buyer used our item for longer than the 30 day return period and then expected a full refund after using our item for a long time.
I ordered a $600 chair over a month ago, and officechairatwork.com took the money over a month ago, but still no chair. The website stated that it would be delivered by Christmas, but on January 14, still no chair, and no updates. No phone support, just "email us". This site is a scam.
Ordered chair offer quick shipping. However 10 days after ordering chair still had not shipped. I ask for the order to be cancelled if they could not ship item they only refunded 90% of my money per their policy. Even though they offer A money policy it is only a 90% money back policy. I just checked BBB and they have a habit of not shipping items then only giving customers 90% of their money back. What a way to make money. I wish i had thought of this. Maybe i will open up a website sell stuff then when customers do Not get their items i can offrer them a 90% refund for an item that i was never going to ship. Think of the money i can make.
BEWARE - This company is NOT an authorized Herman Miller distributor. This company is a 3rd party reseller. The chair I received was used and it broke quickly. The company will not respond to email or voicemail. Their website states "Full warranty" but it's total BS. Check BBB and Trust Pilot for more bad reviews.

Bought a Steelcase Leep. The headrest they included with it is, according to them, designed to pucture the leather back of the chair as soon as it is tightened.

Hi. Thank you for the positive feedback and confirming you did receive your order quickly and as described. The headrest is designed to dig into the top of the back and remain fixed in place. It should not be removed.
I bought an Aaron chair from them which did not arrive for a month, they did not respond to the phone (going straight to voicemail) and I had to email them a couple of times so finally they send the chair to me. When I received the chair, I did not feel comfortable in the chair I requested return and when I returned the chair I didn't get full refund they kept half of the money I gave them. So I was out of money and I didn't have good chair.
Sorry but you cannot use our item for months and months on end and return it after years.
I made an order 15 days ago, and the website missed their own processing/shipping deadline without any outreach to me.
When I called cust support, a robot told me to use their email instead.
I did. Evelyn Kinsley wrote me back and quoted a processing/shipping timeline different than was is clearly on their website.
She offered to replace my order with a different - more expensive - option ready to ship "immediately."
I canceled my original order and bought the new one.
When I mentioned that I'd issue a chargeback if they missed their deadlines again, they canceled my re-order.
This site is so epically unable to meet their own promises that they can't even take an order that demands they meet their own policies.
Save your time and money -- choose a chair vendor that will actually sell you a chair.

Purchased chair. Two weeks went by and checked status of order. Wasn't going to ship for another week or two. I needed a chair due to working from home, so I ended up buying one locally. I canceled my order with OfficeChairatwork.com and finally after about a 1/2 dozen emails, they refunded only 90% of my money. They never mentioned why it was only 90% until I specifically asked and then they said "we have a 10% cancellation fee." This is a violation of NJ state law and just really bad business. If they would have just refunded my money, I probably would have considered them in the future. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE FOLKS!
I ordered a chair 1 month ago, I have heard nothing from them during this time. After reaching out today, they were quick to respond that they apologized and would ship my order NEXT WEEK, not this week, nor tomorrow, NEXT WEEK. I'll update once (if) I get the chair.

I received the chair damaged during transportation. I immediately reported the problem to the vendor that, instead of filing a claim with fedex and helping me getting a replacement chair, put all the work on me. Because of the damage during transportation, the chair cannot be used: the cylinder sticks out (and scratched my hardwood floor when I took the chair out of the box to check it, as instructed by the vendor). And the base has deep scratches and the cover of the mechanism does not click back into place. The vendor told me I would have to figure out how to send it back and pay the shipping costs, so I accepted the vendor's offer of replacement parts. Today I received a new base and cylinder, without any instructions on how to replace them. I watched videos on youtube, and my husband and I tried to remove the cylinder without any success. It is a refurbished chair and the cylinder is stuck in place, we cannot manage to dislodge it. My husband is 78-year-old with 3 back surgeries. The right thing to do for this company would be to file a claim with fedex to get their money back, and send us a replacement chair. I'm escalating the issue with paypal.

No zero star option? My chair took just under a month to receive. A month! To be fair, they do say 14 business days to process. So that's almost 3 weeks to put a chair in a box and slap a label on it. That aside, I'd have been happy had I received what I ordered. For a chair with the "titanium base" that was obviously metal in pictures they sent black plastic that had been shoddily painted. The fabric color was wrong too. The "customer care team" literally said "LOL, We're not sending you anything" when I asked them to send the correct chair. Its little unbelievable. Crazy part is I don't dare send this
Wrong chair back. Read their policies. They have a 35% restocking fee to impose when they want and and other users have said they will not refund part of your purchase because of credit card fees, etc. So this could potentially cost me over a hundred dollars for doing nothing wrong, for returning something I didn't order. So I'm keeping this inferior chair that I didn't want that cost me almost $350. Please learn from my mistakes. Shop elsewhere. I know you're reading these reviews *******@work. Do the right thing; 1) Admit you sent the wrong chair and 2) Promise you'll send the correct chair if I reorder. I won't hold my breath.
I needed this chair in time for my special event. The normal time frame was up to 15 business days. They said they will try and had my order delivered in only 5 days! Great service & great chair.
