Placed an order in the Summer 2018 for 2 items... Did not receive items and out $72. She replied once to an email saying there was a backup after 2 more months had passed emailed again, NO REPLY. She is a scam artist. You would think a fellow Canadian would not want to rip off others who put trust in her as she advertises as a Canadian company and all that it stands for.

Terrible company
February 3, 2019

I ordered on their boxing day sale Dec 26 2018. They overcharged my credit card and my order still says "unfulfilled" and its February 3 2019. Emailed the 1st time about the overcharge and was told they would fix it. I've emailed 5+ times since and got no response. I put in a dispute with PayPal and hopefully I get my $111 back. Don't order anything from them or you'll just be wasting your money.

Fraudulent

I ordered Dec 7,2018. I still have not received my order or any contact. My messages on Facebook get deleted. I have escalated this thru PayPal resolution Center. PayPal gave the company 10 days to respond. She did not respond. It will be resolved in my favour with a refund thru PayPal. Hopefully enough people take up their orders with PayPal in the accepted timeframe.

Terrible, Shady Company

Do not order from this company! How are they still even in business? Obviously Chic is a fraudulent company that just steals people's money and does not send out their orders. And good luck trying to get ahold of them. I've been waiting for my order since November and they kept having an excuse as to what the hold up was. If I could rate them a -10 I would.

Only company I've ordered from who take money for an item before it ships... which they don't even intend to do! Order back in December and funds were taken straight away. Made sure I didn't order any pre-order items because I wanted straight away. It's now February and my order is still 'being processed' and was told items hadn't arrived to them yet! They will not return emails now and I have put in a request with PayPal to receive my money. Very unprofessional way to handle customers and their money.

Unfortunately I sent in an order for a yearly subscription from this site without the due diligence of investigating them beforehand. They are now called Hey Helen. I placed my order in early November for the Winter Box to be delivered on December 20th. I am still waiting for this delivery and all I'm getting is email excuses as to why it hasn't been sent. I now believe I have kissed my money goodbye. I have forwarded an email to this company and have asked for a refund. I have blocked them on my credit card as they auto renew your subscription. Please do not order from this company. They have deleted all the negative messages from subscribers on Instagram which sounds like their operating procedure. Buyer beware!

I have previously bought a few items from obviously Chic at their pop up shows in the past and loved what I bought. I ordered 3 items of clothing in October 2018. It is now February 2019 and none of the clothing items have arrived yet. I have also attempted to contact the company on 3 different occasions to let them know and have not gotten one response yet. I am all for "shopping local" but I am so disappointed with this company.

A rip-off
January 21, 2019

Paid for 2 pre orders one in sept and one in oct. Only received a few items from each order. On the receipts was a hand written note "will ship on own" for the rest of the items. I have never received the rest of the items. Sent multiple emails, filed a complaint with the better business bureau to which they never responded. It is a total sham. Not sure how they haven't been arrested for fraud. I would never order ANYTHING from this fraudulent scam of a company again.

Terrible company

Do not order from her! She takes your money and never fulfills your orders. Completely a rip off. When you call her out on it, she'll delete Facebook comments, disable her Facebook messenger, disable commenting on Instagram. Really terrible customer service.

Never got my refund
March 9, 2019

I ordered a tank a year ago and was told it was on back order then I questioned where it was months later and was told the order was cancelled due to product being unavailable. I then asked for my refund of $36 and was going back and forth by email (as there is no person you can speak to there) the only option for customer concerns and they said I would be getting my refund. Well it's been an entire year now and STILL have not received my refund! Do NOT purchase anything from this store they are not a reputable company! I am still trying to get my refund but just get there stock answers and no refund! Terrible company! Do not buy!

I placed an order and my credit card was charged on April 23,2018. It was supposed to be delivered in a couple of weeks so I contacted them and they told me I ordered a pre-order item (but they don't tell you this when you place the order). They told me it would be delivered by May 25. Finally, July 3 I receive one of my two items. I constantly hounded them for the delivery of the second item and they kept making excuses. I put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to which they did not respond. I called my credit card company, but unfortunately I was past the dispute time period so I kept hounding this company for a refund. Finally, on November 23,2018 I received my refund. I think if they owe you a refund they just hope you will go away and forget about it. They had my money for seven months. I emailed them weekly for about three months to get my refund. I probably would have reported this company to the RCMP if I did not receive the refund.

Fraud!
February 24, 2019

Ordered two items and they never arrived. The customer service is horrible and just sends the same picture over and over again. I ordered in September 2018 and now in Feb 2019 I still have nothing. I commented on their instagram and they deleted the posts and never responded to messages.

NEVER ORDER FROM THEM

They are quick to take your money and that is about it. Money lost. Never received my items and they couldn't even respond to one of my many emails. The absolute worst company I have ever delt with.

Aren't there any legal repercussions for this dodgy business?!
Ordered items April, 2018.
After 4 months, and s few emails I received one item and an excuse of being a special order and that my other item would be expected within 8 weeks.
Sent another few emails with NO response.
It is NINE months later and no last item I paid for and no correspondence.
Thought I was supporting local to a Kelowna based business...
As I always try to shop and support my fellow Canadians.
This company is the OPPOSITE of anything Canadian.
Deplorable.

I have ordered a number of items from Obviously Chic, and have always been impressed with their clothing. In October, I placed an order during one of the BOGO hoodie events. When my package arrived, only one of my hoodies were included. I have been emailing this company since that time to determine when my second hoodie will arrive, and have been given nothing but the runaround. This process has been going on for more than three months at this time. Unfortunately, I will not order from them again.

Horrible Company

I ordered a BOGO Hoodie Sale in Sept 2018. It us now Feb 2019 and I have not recieved my order. I gave contacted them numerous times and I have never received a straight response. Now the website is down and they are restructuring. Very sad to say I am pretty sure I lost my money.

I have ordered to many times over the last 4 years from this company and constantly give them a second chance but I'm done. Products say in stock but still take 2+ months to show up, product often shows up looking nothing like the picture, expect to wait weeks to get any response from them if you do at all and if your order actually shows up it will most likely be missing something. Not worth the money or the time. This company isn't new but they use that as an excuse to offer terrible customer service. They'll use the excuse that your item was a "pre order" so they don't have to take responsibility for the awful shipping times even when it clearly says in stock on the website and no mention of a "pre order". There are so many better boutiques out there to support that actually care about their customers and quality of product. Save your money and shop somewhere else!

I have been ordering from this company for about five years and have placed about 5-8 orders in this time. They have sales once in a while but you'll still end up paying about $100 for two things during bogo and shipping is $12. They have a lot of "pre order" items that are not very well flagged. It's been almost two months, order status is still "unfulfilled". I've asked for a refund twice and their response is no refund on pre order items even if there is a product shipping delay on their end. No apology. This has happened twice. I ordered a Jacket and the sleeves were so short that my 13 year old daughter didn't even fit into it. All in all, when I first started ordering it was great. Last couple of times have been less than average. Won't be ordering again.
