Worst company ever
December 27, 2018

Don't get sucked in to their "sales" and adorable clothing. It takes months to ship, if it ever does and the quality is poor. Their marketing promises great things that they do not deliver on (still waiting for a Christmas themed sweater well after Christmas has passed). This company offers flaky unhelpful customer service and are not accountable. It is nearly impossible to get an honest answer or a refund. Save your money. Buying from them is like giving your money away.

Month later and still waiting for my refund from an item I purchased back in May 2018. Been in contact numerous times with lame excuses coming from they're end to now no contact. Will be filing with pay pal. The last two hoodies I purchased with the May order came but the one lake life black sweater started to fall apart on the left front pocket after three days of wearing it.

Made in China. Does not fit true to size. Customer service representatives are quite rude. They delete anything they view as "negative" thus there is no way for the buyer to know about the poor quality

November 2017 was when we ordered my two items as of today's date September 2018 we have heard nothing from this company. I still haven't received the product I paid for and I have read a ton of reviews. Lots of people in the same boat. How companies get away with false advertising and keeping people's money for items they never sent is beyond me. Shady business I believe Karma will get them. They deserve a negative rating bad business practice

My husband ordered me two pieces for Christmas. A sweater and sweat shirt. I received the sweatshirt and never did get my sweater. My sweatshirt arrived in mid Jan... they shipped an item I did not order. When contacted they were useless. Who signs their emails with hugs and kisses. They are so unprofessional and such a rip off. My daughter ordered the same sweatshirt my husband did we are now in late Feb she never got her sweatshirt. She ordered her sweatshirt two weeks before he ordered mine. So not only do they not send in order of receiving the purchase they make terrible excuses and lie saying they shipped the items. She also ordered a bunch of items and they again said they shipped them and when she did get her November order in February its were missing again. Very poorly ran company and terrible customer service.

Stay clear of this company

Multiple orders never received product. Took over 4 months for a refund. Product I did receive from the chic box said they were made in China but the owner claims they were handmade in BC. Poor customer service. Will never order again from this company. I would give a zero if that was an option

I have been shopping with Obv for some time now, actually more then 90% of my closet is filled with Daisy Mae. My clothing has always been great quality, it always fits well, & i always get tons of compliments. Their prices are great, their customer service has always gotten back to my emails and answered my questions. Sure, sometimes there is a bit of a wait for items to ship - but this is not unheard of when it comes to dealing with pre-order items on any online store. Obviously Chic is a growing company and like anything that is new, it comes with hiccups and a learning process. The owner Jess, is super sweet & kind. I am actually so surprised at all the negative things written on these reviews, because this has never been my experience at all. I will continue to stand behind her company & purchase her items.

I had placed an order with them in November 2017 for their Black Friday sale. The items I ordered were not pre order items, I checked and they were in stock. I waited and waited, finally emailed them a week before Christmas, they gave me some excuse about the busy season and how my items were being sent with in the week. After Christmas sent them yet another email, then they tell me they had a problem with their supplier for fabrics and the proceed to tell me that my items were pre order items, so they could take a while. Not true.
Anyway, countless emails were sent. They couldnt have enough respect to actually give me any details about my order at all, only that it will be sent sometime within the week. Well... we are now in March 2018, and I m still getting the run around from them.
They are ignoring my emails about my wanting a full refund because Im sick of waiting for their sub par clothing.

DO NOT ORDER! They steal your money! I ordered items in October 2018 that were never shipped... excuses and lies about delays and nothing ever shipped. They finally agreed to cancel my order (like it was a big deal and they were doing me some favour because it is against their policy to cancel orders) and refund my money... it's January 2019 and I still haven't got my money back. And again, more lies and excuses about why it is taking so long to process my refund! You can only email this company and she (Jess the owner) uses the same recycled excuses and lie responses over and over again... and don't dare try and contact her on the FB page or any other social media. All social media is highly monitored for negative comments or inquires which are immediately deleted and then you are blocked. She will gladly take your money, but don't expect to get or order or get your money back! She is a thief and fraud!

What the hell? I've ordered sweaters from their bogo event in August... it's October 5th and I still haven't received my sweaters. Went through the same thing with the blanket scarves, took over 6 weeks to get those... Why does shipping take so long? And you can't ask anything via social media as they delete it, I'm glad I found this so I could at least share my poor experience with everyone else. I won't order from them again and I am a regular on-line shopper!

At the moment there is an average of twelve hands that touch your item before it arrives on your doorstep, which is what makes our company unique and able to implement the high quality control and personal attention that keeps customers coming back.

We often have pre-orders, or custom made, beautiful one of a kind items just for you. Even though this is not the fastest at times, we stand by producing amazing quality items that you will get stopped in everywhere you go and love it for years to come.

Sometimes, our pre-orders get delayed, because of various factors out of our control or to be honest sometimes they are in our control (as a worker is sick and needs to spend time with her child or they have worked way too many hours this week). We appreciate you shopping with us & we are sorry for any delays. As we grow we are excited to become even faster & continue to stand up for what we believe in while producing amazing clothing. Buyer beware

The annual subscription box "Summer Edition" was to be shipped on June 20th... we are just now (July 17th) getting a notice stating that a shipping label has been created. In the 30 days that we have been waiting for the box there has been NO communication to the subscribers of the delay unless you contact them... and then a computer response thanking you for your support and patience is generated. No visitor posts are allowed on the social media account and any negative posts are quickly removed. This gal that started this little business has got in way over her head and can't keep up with "her so called empire and dream". I would caution anyone from ordering off of her.

Never again!

Ordered sweaters the buy one get one October 1st. November recieved an email saying i will get it within 1 to 11 day. Nothing! Contacted her numerous time and was told it would be shipped the same week. Here i am still waiting almost 4 months. And zero response back when i asked for a refund.

I sadly threw away my money when I signed up for a year of her box subscription (now called Hey Helen Box). Boxes didn't ship when they were supposed to (which is fine, but be upfront about it instead of saying they're on their way), and when pressed the owner had nothing but excuses. Most items in the box are cheaply made (from China) and definitely not worth what you're paying for. She claimed a kimono was handmade by a fictional home business in Kelowna, yet it had a made in China label in it. She seems unable to take responsibility for how she runs her business, and instead blames her vendors, the shipping company, etc. If you're needing a refund, she has said upfront it won't be processed for weeks, which makes no sense whatsoever.
This company has zero respect and value for their customers. Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere.

Ordered from them on boxing day, and they were not presale items. Two months later after multiple emails and excuses I got half my order. One item was damaged and another the wrong size. It came with a sheet saying the rest would ship a month later. Fast forward two months later and I still don't have my order, and now she is ignoring my emails. She's all about making money and promoting this amazing business with all these new products. Yet she doesn't fulfil her orders she's been paid for. Buyer BEWARE!

Dishonest company.

Once again at Christmas time they oversell their products and dont communicate with their customers. I've been waiting for a black Friday order that was going to be a Christmas gift. Thought ordering almost 4 weeks in advance was enough. It hasn't even been processed so they cant blame the strike. They dont answer their emails except to say they are "working as fast as they can" I tried to give this canadian company another shot. But once again they have disappointed me. I will be cancelling my subscription once I receive this last one and will think long and hard about ever ordering again.

Ordered $75 worth of product in May. No correspondence... no merchandise by mid-July. Logged onto obviouslychic.com and viewed my order. "Shipped" it read with an estimate 7-10 day window. (I would've been fine with that, despite that I ordered sundresses I now only have 1 month to enjoy). A later, i get an email stating the order had been cancelled as it was sold out. (?) I was also informed my refund would occur til after Sept 5th. They sure took my order immediately upon order! They lied about items being in stock... shipped. It is now Sept and I still have not been refunded. I have tried corresponding with the company via email. They either dont reply or reply only to stall further. Tomorrow I take legal action against this fraudulent company.

This company has lovely photos of really cute stuff that you will not receive. When you email to ask for your stuff or a refund, you will get an automated response. Comment on their social media accounts and you will get blocked. Buyer beware.

Do NOT waste your time or money with this fraudulent business. I ordered a hoodie online on October 1,2018 and I have yet to receive my order! I emailed multiple times and they keep giving me the excuse that Canada Post is extremely behind in their delivery service, which is absolute bulls**t. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they closed the case when Obviously Chic failed to respond by the deadline. So they were essentially useless. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and currently have a tentative credit on my account for the charge.

I had a co-worker tell me about ObviouslyChic. She was wearing the cutest scarf. I ended up ordering 2 when they had their BOGO free sale. I was very skeptical after reading all these reviews. However, I received my scarves today - took just under 2 weeks which is very acceptable! The scarves are soft and durable. Did I mention nicely packaged? I will be ordering again!

Terrible!

I ordered two dresses from this company. Months went by and I had received nothing. I followed up and they assured me my order was getting shipped out. They shipped one of the two dresses! The quality was horrible, but besides the point. I still was not sent my full order. Months go by again and I contact them. I will never be getting the second dress due to production issues and they were going to be refunding customers. They told me they had sent an email out about this but I certainly never received that. It has now been over 6 months since the purchase date. I still have not received my refund. I've e-mailed numerous times to follow up and they no longer respond to my emails. This is the most ridiculous online shopping experience I have ever had. If they are still in business after all of these terrible reviews, DO NOT buy from them. You probably wont get what you ordered and honestly the quality is soooo cheap!
