I pre-ordered items in april of this year. That meant "pay up front and they were promised by a date" (approximately 2 weeks later).
The promised shop date came & went, no shipping notification. So I emailed CS. "Sorry, this has been delayed" and a new ship date was given. First red flag, why didn't you let all those on your pre-order know there was a delay?
Second promised ship date comes and goes. We do the same little song and dance and a THIRD ship date is given. When the third ship date passed with no email explanation or ship notification I sent a, less than pleasant, email to CS asking for my order to be cancelled. CS then replied, making it sound like cancelling their order was their idea and said product arrived and was t up to their standard, so she wasn't going to fill tinge orders... and all refunds would be processed by September 5. This cancellation email was sent in August. Why does she need over a month to issue a refund?! But, again, gave her the benefit of the doubt & patiently waited for my refund on/before September 5. Long story short... I still don't have a refund and have had to involve my credit card company to try to get my money. December is literally tomorrow. This nonsense has been going on for almost 7 months.

Well I finally got my sweaters... 4 1/2 months later and they were the wrong sweaters!
Absolutely brutal... no impressed and it's too bad as they have really cute items!

I ordered 6 blanket scarves from their BOGO deal on August 23,2017. I had ordered them as bridesmaid gifts for my wedding September 23,2017. Thinking to myself this is a Canadian company they should definitely be here on time. Boy, was I ever wrong! After multiple emails to customer service, zero customer service, and basically all my concerns being blatantly ignored; September 16,2017 I received a tracking number that my items has been shipped. Well it is now September 29,2017. My wedding has happened, the scarves never arrived. And the tracking has not been updated since I received the initial tracking number. My last email to the company I stated that I wanted a honest answer of when they might arrive and yet again I was told the same thing. "Tracking info would be updated shortly."
I am a regular online shopper, and never, NEVER, has it EVER taken this long to receive an item... especially one that is apparently coming from a warehouse that is located 45 minutes away from where I reside.
This company is a joke. And I have zero beliefs that it is Canadian. At this point in ready to file a complaint with someone that might actually get my somewhere or just get me my money back.
I would never recommend purchasing anything from this company. There are far too many strange things when reading the fine print on their website now to make me believe their story.
I preordered during the BOGO blanket scarf sale. My order never shipped on time now my tracking hasn't updated in over a week. They give vague responses and they state 3-7 days shipping time but I'm going on 7 business days with no answer as to where my order is or why the tracking has not updated. They said they would check the warehouse after telling me to call Canada post. Canada post told me to get them to call and start an investigation. I emailed stating that and they replied with we will check with our warehouse and I have yet to get a response. I emailed asking for a refund for shipping and their response was we don't offer refunds for shipping at this time. I did not pay for shipping to be $#*!ed around and not given the time of day for product I already paid for and have not received. I ordered about a month ago and pre order ship date was oct. 14th. No product and no answers and refusal of refund. SO DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE.
I wish I read these reviews before placing two orders! What a joke! And don't lie saying that you empower women! I work in a law firm full of truly empowered women who don't manipulate their clients! I have told all of them to never order from you and hopefully they tell more women, who will hopefully tell even more women. You lied about being a local company as well, you make it seem like your products are made here, not in China. Horrible business practices. I ordered October 13-14th. Was told shipping was early November. They said there is a delay and they will be shipped within ten days. Tomorrow is 10 days! Still no tracking number sent to me and the horrible woman wrote in her email "thanks for your patience". Um, no! My patience has been worn thin! You lied about your products! Where they are made! Where and When they are shipped and you are a disgusting human being. If my order is not in by Monday I want a refund! A full refund! And if my jackets don't ship on the 25th (which I am sure they won't) I want those refunded as well.

I ordered two dresses for my upcoming bridal shower. A month and a half later I am fighting with costumer service back and forth trying to find my package. Finally they send me a "we lost your package" email saying I would get my refund in September... I ordered beginning of June! They won't resend my dresses, they simply lost them. I ordered from this site before, the clothes are great if they make it to you, but I ran into a two month wait for my last order too. NEVER AGAIN! TAKE MY BUSINESS TO PEOPLE WHO WANT IT!

I am so disappointed in this company. I ordered round towels in May. They were supposed to be released on June 1. With repeated emailing (half were not answered) they kept saying ten more days. I starting requesting to cancel my order starting at the beginning of August. I was told no problem they will do it right away. I waited and nothing was refunded. I emailed again and was told refunds will not happen until September 5. Where I sent them the email saying that they will refund me right away. They sent one back saying IT was working on them. I received an email on the 24 that the product is being shipped, after I have told them repeatedly I wanting to cancel my order and was told no problem. I am so mad at this and the package has not moved since I have gotten the email. I finally got the towels that I cancelled and they are not the ones I ordered. They are nothing that I would order for myself. I will not be ordering from this company anymore. Their customer service is horrible and the way they have treated me leaves me speechless. There is no place to leave comments on the webpage or to review items. And they delete and block you when you leave negative reviews on their facebook page.
They will take you money and nothing will show up and they won't let you cancel order and when you ask for a refund they will deny it.
You'll never see product or a refund. Shes a scam artist. If youd like to just give money to her to get nothing but a head ache in return then this is your company

This company used to be good, but I fear the owner is more intent on making herself into a social media star/fake life guru than with running a successful business. I have order from Obviously Chic 4 times. The first two orders were perfect, the items were as described, the quality was beautiful, pricing excellent. The most recent two orders were absolute disasters. I ordered in September of 2017 on a preorder BOGO for shirts. About two weeks later I ordered again when I saw they added a new shirt print and some lounge pants to the BOGO, a total of 6 shirts, two lounge pants, and a pair of faux leather leggings were ordered from them.
What followed was FIVE MONTHS of emails back and forth, multiple lame excuses and stalling on their part, shipping notifications that sat for weeks before anything was actually shipped, packages containing one or two pieces of the order that arrived with no explanation about where the rest of it was. I constantly had to follow up with them and push them to send me my order. It was frustrating, time consuming, and in the end the clothing I received was pretty disappointing.
Ordered a tank top from her spring of 2017. It arrived with a spelling error. Contacted her for refund or exchange. Was told all the shirts of same design had same spelling error. Told me she would order more but did not offer refund. She was only willing to exchange. She then informed me she wasn't getting the replacements until following spring. So I waited it out and when the same tank came back on her website I contacted her asking for exchange. I originally ordered the shirt on sale, so she wouldn't do a straight exchange. She gave me a coupon code for the amount I paid for original shirt to use off new shirt. I've now paid 54.95 for two tank tops and never actually received the replacement tank. I've been fighting with her for the last three months for a refund and she refuses. She has offered me yet another coupon code, but I refuse to buy anything from her ever again. Now she's telling me she can't deal with tank from 2017 because it's her policy not to issue refunds from over a year ago. She issued refund for the second tank to an expired/cancelled credit card number which really is no refund at all but in her eyes she doesn't owe me any money. I've taken this to the BBB now in hopes someone will help me. Sadly I didn't use PayPal and because the credit card I used is no longer valid and paid off the company won't fight for me.
First off they charge $10 for shipping for any order under $100. Which is fine... but when you pay for shipping you expect the service received to reflect that. I placed an order for their boxing day sale on Dec 26. I noted on their Facebook page that they were responding to others about it arriving (within Canada) before new years. They were even promoting their sale as "new years outfit." The shipping label wasn't printed until two days later on Dec 28th. The kicker is that it wasn't even shipped until January 3rd!
When I received the product it was cheaply made. It no way reflected the professional photos on the website. The fabric is practically see through on one of the sweaters and the other is just odd - its super baggy in the arms and the sleve comes to just above my wrists... not 3/4 or full length. Just an odd design.
The kicker is that they remove all their reviews from their facebook page and will block you. I sent them a message about my order and haven't gotten a reply at all. Crappy customer service. Also if you return anything you must pay the shipping for them to receive plus a ten dollar restocking fee. So its hardly worth it anyway.
Bottom line is I would not recommend this company. Their photos are deceiving, their customer service and general attitude sucks. Crappy quality of clothing where the sizing doesn't even make sense.

- Dec 10 still hadnt received package, emailed for tracking number just to follow shipping ( Xmas time, figured it might be taking longer)
- received email back, was told my shipment was voided due to unsatisfactory product they had received but it would be shipping in the next few days ( not a problem at this point)
- never received shipping confirmation
-Dec 27- emailed again asking what happened to order, no excuse this time just that order would ship in couple of days. Voiced my dissatisfaction of lack of customer service, very politely I might add, received email back thanking for feedback and that new processes are being put in place.
- is now 8 business days later and still no shipping confirmation or contact from company. Emailed asking how I go about cancelling or getting refunded, that was 2 days ago and still no response
I wont bash the company or her, but as a first time customer of theirs it will be my first and last order from them. All I ask is to be kept informed of what is happening and the reason behind the delay with my order since they already have my money.
Customers understand that sometimes delays come up, but its her responsibility to handle this better. And from the sounds of these reviews its not getting any better.
I ordered from their BOGO Boxing Day sale on Dec 27. One of the items said available the others said ship Jan 21. Nothing on the website saying it was a pre order. Did not receive the item that said available to be shipped in 2 days. Waited until Jan 21 and nothing. No emails stating my order was shipped, nothing. So I emailed. They dont have a number you can call Ofcourse. Days later I get an email stating orders are delayed and will be sent out jan 31st. I emailed to complain, she said I could be offered discount on my next order if I wait until the 31st. So I wait. And NOTHING! By this point I think Ive lost my money (135$) and debate calling my visa company. Especially after reading these terrible reviews. Ofcourse she doesnt have reviews on her website or Facebook now I understand why! I emailed asking for my money back. Totally diss appointed. How does it take over a month to ship a couple sweaters/shirts. Unbelievable. After a week or so of back and forth emails and waiting for a credit on my cc I finally did get my money back. Phew! Never again. Deleted the page from my Facebook and told all my family/friends to stay away!
Please don't order from this company. I ordered 2 dresses back in April. They were to ship in May. They never shipped with no emails from the company. I sent numerous emails (no phone number to contact) regarding my order. Always got the run around about shipping delays but not to worry, they will be shipping in the next few days. This continued for another month of me sending emails every week! FINALLY I got a notification my dresses were being shipped at the END of July! I finally got them, but to my surprise ONLY one dress! And even more disappointing was the dress wasn't as advertised. So back to emailing again. After numerous emails about canceling my order and refunding my one dress, I finally got an email saying they will cancel my dress and refund the other! It took a very long time to get my refund. Lots of me emailing and lots of them XOXOing! I ended up contacting PayPal regarding the issue. I received my full refund including shipping through PayPal within 11 days of lodging the complaint. Obv Chic has blocked me from their pages because I left questions on their page! Horrible customer service. Stay away!

After reading all these reviews, it seems that this company is doing the same thing to everyone who has purchased from them.
Everyone is getting the exact same generic email from them.
2.5 months and I still haven't received my items, and they have now changed their refund policy since I placed my order in October.
They are taking your money and using it to keep their business up and running and not producing the product. No where at time of ordering did it state that my order was a "pre order" and that my size was not in stock.
Now they are discriminating against me due to my size, saying that "Because of the high volumes and nature of our pre-orders that go into production in your size and style once your order is placed, we don't allow cancellations once an order is made". Size shouldn't matter, if you are offering product for "all sizes available". This could have been informed to me the first email that was sent to me but it wasn't until i had requested 3 time to cancel my order.
Please if you have had bad service from this company report it to the BBB. They can't continue to run a business like this, and should be shut down!
I should have learned my lesson, I have ordered from this company a few times and the shipping has always been ridiculous, once it took 3 months to get a top I had ordered! Always excuses, hand written notes in the package telling me that the pre-sale item I had ordered was out of stock. I of course should not have been fooled again but did order two non-presale items during a bogo in November. The shipping was much faster than usual but the items I received were totally ridiculous junk. A hoodie that wasnt even finished on the cuffs that was insanely tiny and a tunic that I could have driven my car into it was so huge! These items were the same size btw! I immediately packaged it up and went down to Canada post to return, paid extra for tracking since I dont trust them! They received my return on December 13 and have not refunded my $, I should have not bothered paying to return im sure ill never see the money again! I have emailed and the only response I got was s month ago when they said returns are processed in the order they are received I have emailed again

I've tried for over a year trying to get a refund on a tank top I never received and there is no actual person you can talk too only email which is convenient for them to just give stock answers and not provide services.
