My first time ever buying anything from them and after I got 6 emails with fedex saying my shoes was on their way, they kept changing the date now it say pending…. Called FedEx 6 time Nordstrom 6 time oh I guarantee they won't help you…. They will say this… u have to wait basically 7 days after then they will file to see where your item when… as if you want a refund. This system gotta be the weakest I ever came across in my whole life. I will never shop with them again I'm good. And if I do I will pick up my item in store. You better off asking someone on the street to bring your change back than to trust FedEx and Nordstrom together is a scary nightmare. I hope they don't be scamming people I'm not happy at all with them…
I probably shop at Nordstrom.com twice a month (and frequent the store) and have been over the past 7 years. I've had nothing but pleasant experience with them. Their standard shipping is fast, I usually get my order in less than a week because they always ship Priority Mail for their standard. I've also done returns and they have they BEST return policy out of anyone. They don't ask any questions, if you don't like it, even if you've used the items they will take it if you are not fully satisfied. I don't take advantage of this though, I've only returned only when I absolutely have to. Customer service has always been helpful to me. I love how they often have good deals. I just love Nordstrom, definitely my favorite department store. Probably about 80% of my closet is from Nordstrom because they always have nice quality stuff! Love me some Nordys :)
I liked the store itself well enough before it closed near me, they had good prices for alterations (not products which were overpriced) and great customer service.
However the only item I could ever afford there was online, and it was something I really needed. A couple days after placing the order I got an email that it was cancelled because "the item was out of stock." It was so frustrating, why was the ad up in the first place and why did they let me pay for it if there wasn't one available? I think it's soured me on trying to buy from their site again.
I submitted a review a few days ago, but have decided to change it because of their recent decision to remove the Ivanka Trump line from their store. They responded to my contact with them with an unsatisfactory excuse, stating that they removed it because of a decline is sales. How convenient at a time when it seems our President is under attack from numerous businesses, which I find blatantly unfair. Politics is definitely involved here, regardless of what they say. This is unacceptable and I will not buy from Nordstrom again until they apologize and correct this injustice. No need to involve politics in business-period.
Very poor service given to me by Van - the shoe department and Mo - manager in charge on 01/22 in Old Orchard, Skokie, Illinois. Both were rude and implying that I had damaged my boots mechanically.
I've purchased a pair of Tory Burch boots- total of almost 500 $ on September 27th 2022, 3 months ago; I've noticed about a month ago that lining of the heels started peeling off and a plastic base started to show. I would expect better quality from boots like that and was hoping for an exchange! Both associates- as stated above- implied, that I had damaged the boots mechanically! With normal, not every day use! Poor quality product and poor quality service! I definitely do not recommend either!
Love Nordstrom! They carry everyday affordable brands as well as higher end brands. They price match, so you can be sure you're always paying the lowest price for everything! And if you haven't been apart of their preview sales or their end of season sales, set yourself a calendar reminder! You can literally get the hottest items for 40% off before they hit the shelves!
To start, I bought a 99$ cardigan online. Although expensive, most reviews on their website were positive. Once I got the item, I realized this was an overpriced, poor quality item, shedding lint like crazy, with no care instructions! Like, who sells garments with no tag for care instructions!? Maybe because it's terrible.or maybe some never wash their cardigans? Anyway, I tried to post a review of it on THEIR website, and was denied. I tried at least 50 times, and got different 'error' messages. I think they do not accept reviews under 3*. I read that the brand of this cardigan (Zella) is actually a Nordstrom brand. That makes sense. Will never buy from them again.
This store is not for everyone... but if you love beautiful things, good quality, helpful staff, spacious layout, then this is for you. I love that the weed out inferior products, such as the Ivanka line, to maintain their high standard. Thank you Nordstrom... let the shopping continue and Lord knows "retail therapy" has never been more necessary!
This store is a phenomenon. It gives free shipping and returns no questions. It carries a variety of goods that will satisfy even the most curious of shoppers. I've been successfully shopping this store for years. It has exclusive designers that cater to all communities. And a diverse team that covers all walks of living creatures. We are blessed to have a store that is like this. Shop there you won't regret it.
First, the last time I went to Nordstrom was about 3 weeks ago. I bought a pair of shoes and could not try them on since my toddler was throwing a fit. However, I wanted to take them home and try them. They ended up being too big. I lost my receipt and the sales representative would not allow me to return them. The shoes were brand new, tags attached and never worn. So now I'm stuck with these stupid big shoes.
Lastly, getting Involved in politics? I LOVE ivankas line and I really don't believe that she was dropped due to declining sales. I will never shop here again.
I shop at Nordstrom regularly and I've always had a great experience. The employees are very knowledgeable on their products and are helpful in finding the right item for me.

I know this site is expensive but the quality of merchandise is equal to the price. I have a Nordstrom Visa card and earn points whenever I use the card. They then send me certificates usually valued at $20.00. Once I signed up on line they keep track of my certificates for me. I ordered a new travel bag for my husband for Christmas. It arrived within a few days in perfect condition. By the time they took all my certificates off the price I got it for 1/3 the cost. I'm glad I have the Nordstrom Visa card. You can use it anywhere and earn points.
I think this store is wonderful for people that have more money than they know what to do with... and even then I wish they give the money to help those less fortunate, and over indulge on themselves and others. The world needs love, and caring... not more 'expensive' possessions.
I'm a long standing Nordstrom customer and I made an error singing up for autopay. I discovered this error at 62 days and corrected it. I had a hard-earned perfect credit score and that was ruined by Nordstrom for a $200 retail purchase. I have tried to work with Nordstrom and no one has been willing to take even the smallest action on a goodwill correction. Nordstrom made a mistake partnering with TD bank. They are notorious for their unwillingness to work with customers in ways that other agencies do as a common practice. Do not sign up for their credit card. Their customer service has been a tremendous disappointment.
I ordered a Tumi bag that was onsale and they charged my card and then cancelled because they said the sales price was wrong and then tried to get me to pay significantly more for a different color. Never buy from them, shady store.
Nordstrom is one of my favorite retailers. They have a great selection of both high end and affordable high quality items. Great shoe selection, free shipping and returns. If you ever do have a problem (only time I had a problem was when UPS delivered to the wrong address, so it wasn't even Nordstrom's error), they will do whatever it takes to help with it. No long waits for an agent that barely speaks English -- they are quick, responsive, and accommodating. I will be a customer for life.
Had a great experience when one of my items was accidentally shipped to the wrong address. Response was fast, and attentive. Regarding their recent decision to break away from Ivanka Trump's products, this only furthered my appreciation for the company and you have earned yourself a loyal customer!
Love Nordstroms but many time have had the experience in store very similar to that of Julia Roberts in the movie pretty woman where she goes shopping and the sales people snub her because of the way she is dressed... I'm sure most people know what I'm talking about. Absolutely hate being judged for what people think I may or may not have especially by people who more then likely have not much themselves. Online is great and or online and pickup in store I can even deal with. Give it a try
I ordered jimmy choo pumps for my wedding worth $700 and I received used pair. I called Nordstrom, they apologized and told me they will send me a brand new pair but they have to charge for the second pair until they get the old pair back. I told them I could not spend $1400 on shoes in one week. After a long hold the lady gave me 30 days to return the old one without additional $700. She told me she will inspect this pair to make sure that nobody wore them. Today I finally got my second pair of shoes and they look even worse. Honestly, it is like a bad joke. I wish I can post pictures here. They look used and abused. I'm so tired of Nordstrom. That woman lied to me!
Returned very expensive watch (unworn with tags) on May 25. Nordstrom's website shows the item as having been picked-up by their shipping agent on May 25. After 26 days still no refund. Very disappointed! I am a loyal Nordstrom customer and usually customer service is excellent. Beware of counting on Nordstrom to honor return policy on expensive items.

Answer: I have bought a fair number of designer handbags and sunglasses from Nordstrom. In all cases (depending on designer) the handbags were marked inside by the designer, where the item was made, usually a serial number and often a certificate of authenticity. This is especially true of the couture items i. E. Prada, Yves St. Laurent, etc. I have never questioned an items authenticity that I purchased from Nordstroms. They are way too big to risk their rep on fakes.
