Good luck getting anyone to help you after the purchase. We have an exercise bike and the console went out under an extended warranty. It is impossible to reach anyone to help. Bait and switch anyone? DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM NORDIC TRACK.
NordicTrack is the worst company to deal with long holds on the phone they just dont care about their customers. The y sneak in charges a year after for $700 for an IFIT membership I never used! If I was to do it over again I would chose a different company to buy a rower. These people a corrupt as hell!
Bought the Nordictrack Commercial 2450. Long delivery time, over three weeks. Noisy machine, bet loose. Poor customer service and decided to return! Still has not been picked up! Not worth dealing with this company!
Called customer service 3 times as the company delivering still hasn't brought us our purchased equipment. Each time told they can't do anything, that call would be expedited and we would hear in 2-3 business days. It's been over a week now. No call and no equipment has not been delivered.
Made the mistake of overpaying for a Nordictrack bike, didn't even make it three years before breaking down, their customer service was horrible and told me I could pay to have someone look at it. Second mistake, the tech gave me a very accurate estimate of $200 to $800 to repair. You would hope a company like this would stand behind their products. NOPE, just read all their review online!
While I loved the bike when I encountered issues I swear my dogs were more helpful. And they refuse to call me. Refuse. I am throwing it out rather than deal with their support. I can't take it any longer
Are you tired of treadmills that allow you to start your workout with the push of the button? Where's the challenge in that? This also doesn't provide you with a waiting period - a chance to decide if you really want to work out before the treadmill starts moving.
Nordictrack has the answer for you. They have engineered their treadmills with an integrated pad and a monthly subscription service to eliminate these ease-of-use issues. Here is the new procedure for starting a manual workout:
1. Touch the screen of the pad.
2. Select "Yes, wake up my equipment".
3. Wait for the pad to boot.
4. The iFit screen will appear asking if you want to log in with an existing account or sign up. At the top right corner of the screen is greyed-out text that reads "use in manual mode only". Select this.
5. A dialog box will pop up asking if you are sure (why would you want to just use the treadmill you purchased when you could also pay for a monthly subscription?). Select the red text that reads "continue without iFit".
6. After selecting "continue without iFit", the iFit home page will appear.
7. At the top right corner of the page you will see "manual start". Select this. You may now begin your workout.
If you're just looking for a treadmill, look elsewhere. If you're looking for an integrated system that challenges you every time you want to use it, then Nordictrack is the right choice for you.
The model in this review is the T 6.5 SI. My husband purchased me a new out of the box Nordictrack treadmill for Christmas of 2020. Used for 2 years and now it is not under warranty as it was manufactured in 2019. The treadmill simply did not power on as of 1/1/23. I have had a few calls with Support and they determined based on my description of the issues that it would cost between 800 and 2k to repair. For the 2 years of mild use, this was one expensive purchase.
I had a rower for 2 years and 2 months, the strap ripped/broke and during the replacement, it was mentioned to me that the spool was also not functioning and needs to be replaced. Tech mentioned that the spool and the strap parts break down quite often.
Looks to me that the equipment does not last more than 2 years and the parts are of poor quality
I ordered a Christmas tree and received a stupid bib thing with a Hulk cartoon image. When asked for a refund, I only got partial. Also, site states they are located in Texas. The label on my package said it was from a warehouse in Ontario California. And their tracking said it was from China. So everything is a lie. Horditrack IS a scam!
I bought a treadmill from this company, because maintenance and repairs on such a big piece of equipment is such a concern, I got the warranties for extended maintenance and parts and labor. I have had two issues with the fans. They refuse to send anyone out to fix it, they send the parts and make you fix it yourself. The last part they sent to me were just two fans in a box with a receipt and without instructions. There are no videos to replace this part specifically, they just expect you to figure it out, I guess. I emailed them in Dec, and they are just (end of March) responding to those emails now. I have called as well, and they refused to assist in any other way.
I will never purchase from them again, if I was not invested in the ifit app I would sell it and buy peloton. Don't waste your money unless you are prepared to fix these things yourself (which is not possible for me).
This may be the worst customer service experience I have ever had and they do not care.
I bought a nordictrack treadmill C2450 recently and I'm extremely, extremely disappointed with the product. First, the treadmill itself, hardware, seems to be very well build. However, the software that controls it doesn't allow you to create custom workouts. Something really basic like create a structured workout with some minutes at a certain speed, a series of reps, etc… it is not possible on iFIT.
Considering the price of the product and the price of the iFIT membership, it is not worth it. You can find cheaper products, with same quality, that would allow you to create your own workouts.
I deeply regret having bought a Nordic track treadmill and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Really awful customer service. "White glove service" nonexistent. Arrived broken. Nothing but issues. Very expensive with no service. Absurd. All my friends love their Peloton products and those were setup and ensure functioning upon delivery.
I absolutely am very satisfied with this treadmill. So much better than other ones I have used in the past. It is quiet and runs smoothly. Very easy to use! * I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.
Appalling customer service! I have waited 10 days for a response to my last email. Bike was delivered about 4 months ago, broken. Keep getting fobbed off by customer service. For an expensive product customer support is diabolical!
The guys who delivered knew exactly what they were doing and kept me informed as the time to expect them. Worth paying for the setup and brief introduction they gave me. Reason for not giving a 5 star is I seem to loose connection in the middle of the program I am watching for a very brief period. It restarts itself and continues where it left of before the restart. Otherwise I am very pleased with my new training bike.
Never Do business with Nordic Track.
Have any of my FB friends purchased equipment from Nordic Track and received the worst customer service ever experienced from any company?
I ordered/ paid for a commercial grade treadmill November last year. The first delivery was not the model I ordered.
Item returned. In mid December I received a stair stepper. Item returned.
Today the correct treadmill was delivered. Guess what? The box was falling apart due to water damage. Item sent back.
Called customer service I could not understand them. She offered a free rubber equipment mat.
This is the worst company I ever dealt with. If anyone has a similar experience please share.
Please share this post. I tried calling corporate, never got past the receptionist!
Please share.
To start, the treadmills are complete junk.
When they break, if you can ever get a hold of customer service, they will never come and fix the problem.
You will be on hold for days, they will never actually repair the problem correctly.
I can't say enough negative stuff about this company.
Worse customer service I have ever seen in my 54 years.
Customer service will argue reasons not to come fix it, even with the extended warranty.
Avoid this company at all cost.
Writing this, while their support is giving me the runaround: I ordered a treadmill almost a full month ago. The order was supposed to arrive today. No show. No product. No apologies. No excuse. No call. Nothing. Their support is not helpful. Chat is only available to sell more products. They give you various numbers to call that all, of course, are experiencing higher call volumes than normal. The delivery company gives me an automated message after my tracking number pretending I never had an appointment, saying they'll be in touch, and then hangs up. (I can provide proof of purchase, but attaching images is not working.)
Bought a treadmill over a thousand dollars based on brand recognition! When it came time to get it serviced for some minor issues still under warranty the issue really began. There is no customer service with this company. You can wait on hold for literally hours or start a "chat" which will also last an hour or more. The chat person said that the chat and phone lines were just overwhelmed. She then proceeded to want me to take apart my treadmill so we could try to fix it on my own. I could not find any higher up to help so finally sent an email to their media email and got a response.
Answer: HORRIBLE, MULITPLE CALLS, ON HOLD RIGHT NOW... 30 minutes into it after 5-6 calls that lasted over an hour.
