We ordered the X32i treadmill after getting it it would suddenly stop right in the middle of a work out almost causing us to form multiple times. We later find out this is a common problem with this product due to a faulty motherboard issue. They tried to send another motherboard out and said they would send a repair person however after waiting three weeks and no one ever being scheduled we called them back and asked if they would replace the product completely. They said that they would replace the product and the third-party delivery service scheduled for delivery on Wednesday we arranged our schedule for this and then got called later that day to say that they forgot to put it on the truck. They asked if they could reschedule for Monday between eight in the morning and 12 noon. On the day that they are supposed to deliver it they did contact us and say that they overextended their delivers and they need to push it to between five in the evening and nine at night. We did agree to this however when checking to see if it was still going to be delivered we got a hold of the delivery person who said that they would be there between 830 and nine it is now 930 and nobody is answering our phone calls. Between the poor product and the poor delivery service the fact that they are our subcontractors please do not buy a NordicTrack and deal with the same problems that we have.

Purchased the RW900 to use at home as I moved and don't have a solid gym nearby new home. Wanted to be able to use it and watch streaming video or use e-reader. The bigger screen would be helpful. Apparently, early 2022 though, NordicTrack sent an update that looks you out from using apps and forces you only into their canned content in an attempt to influence buying the iFIT service. Kind of boring to have someone talking to you in a calm soothing voice and panning on the nearby geography. Sure it's a nice view but the purpose of having the streaming video is so you don't focus on your aching back and put in the time. I did some research and I could take it back to factory settings and prevent it from updating but that's challenging and would lose content for some items that I might want.
Open it up, allow me to load my e-book and streaming apps of my choice and set up a split screen where I can monitor my workout in a corner. If I could do that (get the same workout at home as I do at the gym), I would happily rate a five but since nordic trac is trying to force me into buying content that I neither want nor desire, I reluctantly give it a 2 and would just remove the screen but then would not be able to control magnetic resistant levels. As it is now, the screen just gets in the way of me watching something behind it or looking out the window.

Have a Nordic Track Elliptical with 14" video display - it is a reasonably good machine to use- once you get it into manual mode, having to locate and press 3 small display prompts to get to manual mode, Nordic Track clearly wishes everyone would subscribe to iFIT and makes it cumbersome to enter manual exersize mode - find it increasingly annoying.

I purchased a NordicTrack treadmill, Commercial 2450, after the company contacted me to advise that my FreeStride elliptical was too old for them to continue to support. They gave me a deal on a new treadmill that included "white glove" delivery (assembly at location of choice within the home) and removal of the elliptical. I paid them for everything on July 19. The treadmill was delivered on July 28. The delivery company knew nothing about the assembly or haul-away. They simply delivered the product and left. I had to call and harass the company for an assembly date. The assembly team came on August 1st. This team consisted of two guys who spoke no English. They were also incapable of carrying the treadmill to the location I needed without my assistance. They put the treadmill together and had to be reminded to take all the trash before they left. The assembly team left without checking the treadmill, as the treadmill was not receiving power to the unit. I had to harass the company for a technician to fix the treadmill and again request the haul-away service. The technician came on August 17th and found the assembly team had crushed a wire during assembly. The haul-away was scheduled for the next day and I instructed the person who called that the elliptical weighs 320 pounds. I asserted that they need multiple people to move this elliptical and I was reassured they would send a capable team. It was the same two assembly guys. My son and I had to help them to remove this item as they were incapable of doing themselves. Initially I tried to get assistance from the sales representative, Jordan Hill, who was over-the-top helpful when I was completing the purchase. He quickly washed his hands of me after the purchase and was no help when these problems started to arise. I love IFit and have three NordicTrack machines. However, I am extremely disappointed in this company and their flim-flam sales tactics. If you purchase a machine from NordicTrack. Just have them deliver it and put that machine together yourself or find your on technician.

Horrible
December 2, 2021

Do not buy from Nordictrack. Purchased a S22i bike from the company. Had a delivery date through their delivery company and only one date available. So took the day off from work and confirmed the delivery date. Then the day prior get a call that the delivery date was moved a week later. Told the rude and blunt rep that I had already taken day off and she said she would let them know and should get a call back. No call back and on day of delivery spoke with Nordictrack rep, who then gave me Ryders number to contact, who then tells me they have a third party company deliver, who they can not get a hold of. Needless to say I spent 2.5 hours on the phone, mostly hold, to be told no one can make contact with delivery and too bad you are just out your wages for the day and nothing can be done. Called and got a refund from nordictack who tells me I will need to pay a return shipment of $200.00 for an item never delivered. Yeah thats not happening as I never got the bike. Then they tell me my refund will take up to 10 days, wow they took it out of my account in 10 min not ten days. Words of wisdom, spend the extra and buy a Peloton bike as friends and family that bought through them have never had these sad issues. Lesson learned, listen to others that have had the same experience and stay away from Nordictrack.

Horrible experience
December 8, 2020

I was excited to get my Nortictrack treadmill. It was easy enough to place my order, go figure. When I ordered my Peleton bike, the delivery was simple and they set it up, not with Nortictrack, we had to convince the delivery guys to take it down stairs. When I got it, the cup holder was cracked and the serial number was rubbed off. My machine stopped working, the motor did, I had to reset it 5 times to work, then I had problems with the software, I
Fit, it would not go to the home screen, and still does not. I called and they make you go through a series of troubleshooting which involved getting a screw driver and removing a panel, not usually a problem, but I am way to busy for that. I tried to call tech support, on hold for hours, I literally have screen shots. I have decided to return it, but that has been a nightmare, I finally spoke to someone and they sent me an email and said they would be in touch to schedule delivery, meanwhile it has been over a week and a half, and no one has called, so I am again on hold with billing, I am at 12 minutes and waiting as I type. Oh, and I have to pay $574 to restock the lemon I was given. I am so very disappointed, and I have been flexible with Covid, but this is not the way to run a company. You need to get your act together, with customer service. Very disappointing. You are willing to be the best in the industry but your customer support and policies are horrendous. Peleton was such a better experience bar none. Too bad, I like the treadmill, but it is not worth the headaches.

I've purchased almost 1 year ago this unit. I'm satisfied with treadmill. However, several weeks ago it stopped running. When turning the unit on for a workout, the treadmill belt would move for a fraction of a second and then stop. All else worked on the machine and the belt moves freely by hand and is centered. A bit of research found this is common and is a failure of the motor driver board ICON MC1648DLS (symptom error: LED blinks 4x = failed controller / overcurrent). Photo attached.

I have been trying to contact their customer service every day for the last 2 1/2 weeks - writing numerous tickets, hanging on for > 1hr at a time on their 1-800, navigating long phone trees and their two different support sites (mynordictrac.com and my.ifit.com), etc. I receive an automated reply via email to my tickets but not once has anyone even responded to support. My frustration is very high at this point - I run nearly everyday and the failure of the machine, and more importantly, the failure of the service department to even respond is terrible. In all the complex products I've bought over the years, I have never experienced such a lack of disregard for their customers - 2.5 weeks of completely ignoring a request for help on a serious product issue is experience of which potential purchasers should be aware.

Angry
July 4, 2018

I bought a NordicTrack Elite 5750 Treadmill for home use to help me with my heart condition. It did work well for 2 years and 1 week, so in that sense I cannot complain.
BUT!
Then it just stopped turning on. It was 1 week past the two year warranty, but this was a top of the line model and it was used lightly only by me. I also had it on my battery backup power which is surge protected. I paid for a service repair from NordicTrack anf the guy who came out didn't seem to know his way around the treadmill very well and he eventually came to the same conclusion I already knew myself, that power was making up to the console, but the console was not coming on. He then told me that the only repair was to pay $1350 for a new console, plus shipping costs, plus labor to install it. The final price to repair it was more than the $1,500 I paid to buy it new. So it cost me a pretty penny to figure that out.
But, I was not satisfied, it seemed like whatever was wrong should not be serious. So, for half the price of the expert service call by NordicTrack, I found someone who knew electronics repair to look at it and they said it was all fine except for some piece of memory that cleared, but only the factory could restore that memory and the factory would only do that by replacing the whole console for $1,350.
This left me with one clear belief, NordicTrack is knowingly deliberately making very minor repairs on their Treadmill repairable only by them and then setting the cost so high that when a likely small breakdown occurs after their two year warranty, you have to buy a NEW treadmill from them.
I do not find that honest and it really angers me. I will never buy another product from NordicTrack and I will highly recommend against anyone else buying their product unless they expect to replace that product with a new one every time time the warranty runs out.

I purchased a connected bike from NordicTrack about 6 months ago. It has been a nightmare. The bike arrived incomplete. It was missing pieces to put it together. The tech sent to assemble it had to order them. That took some time for them to arrive, but the part arrived and they eventually came back out and assembled the bike. I thought I was done, rough start, but all good. Wrong. After a little while the bike started wobbling. So I tried to reach out to NordicTrack to get it repaired. I was on hold with service for over an hour. The chat function on their website was also overloaded with a long wait time. I was finally able to reach someone of Facebook. They demanded that I take a video of the wobble and then call back. I refused, as the wait times are so long. Eventually I got them to come out to make a repair. This was about 3 weeks ago. They were able to tighten the bike but it turns out there are more pieces missing. This time its 6 screws. 3 weeks later, the screws still have not arrived. So I called back into NordicTrack. Spent an hour and a half on the phone with them and they offered to resend the screws. I told them this was not good enough. I have given them multiple opportunities to deliver to me the functioning, complete bike that I paid for and they have not. I am no longer willing to wait for them to get around to delivering what I paid for and demanded a refund. I can not imagine a scenario where I do business with this company. They refused, claiming it had been over 30 days. I disagree. I say it has been 0 days as they have never delivered what I purchased, a complete and properly functioning bike. Avoid them.

Worst customer service EVER! I have been trying since last JUNE to get help with our bike. The screen doesn't work so you can't choose any of the workouts or even a manual workout to get started. EVERY SINGLE TIME we have attempted to call customer service we have been on hold over an hour and then passed around to different departments after the initial hour wait. It is so exhausting even thinking about what we will go through when calling that we finally stopped several months ago. Today I had some extra time so I decided to give it a go. SAME STORY. I was on hold for an hour and ten minutes. Gave up. Decided to call back and see how quickly the sales department would answer, boom done. No wait but of course they can't help so I am now 30 minutes in to what I am sure will be no answer for hours.

My Dad just bought this same bike and the man he spoke to gave him his "personal number" so he could help me. Of course he couldn't and I hope my father doesn't have any issues because it will probably just send him to an early grave.

The sad thing is I have a Nordic track treadmill that we bought in 2017 that I run 7-9 miles on everyday. It has been an amazing product but when it comes time to replace I WILL NOT GET ANOTHER NORDIC TRACK because their customer service is so bad. So, so, so, bad. I feel like I need to visit a therapist when I finally give up waiting for someone to answer my call or if they do answer I need therapy from being transferred from department to department. For as many times as I have called I have spent hours on hold and probably spoken to a human for about 45 minutes of those hours.

I live not too far from the big iFit building and Nordic Track assembly building (Logan, Utah) and I'm going to call the news and have them investigate the issues I'm having. We can film right outside the building.

I've absolutely had it.

Norditrack is horrible, go elsewhere
December 30, 2020

This company is absolutely horrible to deal with and even worse at supporting customers; they are simply not worth buying from. The sale of a bike was quick and efficient, but every single thing after that point was a disaster. I received conflicting messages on the delivery of my item and the status of where it was. Calling the company was a nightmare - I would constantly end up in the Sales department, even though I wanted to speak with someone in Customer Service. I would call, repeatedly, and be told "I can't help you, let me transfer you" and when I finally connected with someone, they were just as confused as I was; completely unable to help. They transferred me to the Warehouse/Shipping department and that person was horrible to interact with. Beyond not caring, he clearly lacked customer service skills and could not clarify what the issue was. The Billing department was unsympathetic and simply did not care. The website chats were ineffective; I would ask for Customer Service and would constantly get Sales department. After that debacle, I received the item and decided to return it, which turned into a new nightmare. The website link in their e-mail did not work. I would enter information into their website for my return and get an error response. I called and got transferred to the Returns department on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 and waited on hold for 2 hours and never spoke with anyone (I hung up after waiting 2 hours, out of frustration). I e-mailed and never got a response. I used the live chat on the website and, again, got the Sales department - "Sorry, we can't help you". I repeated asked for an escalation, support from a supervisor, manager or someone in leadership and got nothing. I called, again, and got transferred to the Returns department where I waited, yes, you guessed it, for 2 hours on hold. After 2 hours and 3 minutes, someone answered. This company is horrible. The Sales group is okay, but every single person after that is miserable to deal with and worse to communicate with. It is shameful that I have to pay to return this pos item considering the miserable experience I had. If this is how Nordictrack regularly does business, no wonder Peloton is beating them at this service. Which, is were I am going back to... I previously owned a Peloton and decided to try nordictrack... what a huge mistake that was. Even though Peloton is more expensive, they are worth it. Their Customer Service is 100 times better.
I will be protesting the 10% restocking fee of $250 considering I never used the bike, so this is completely unfair and unethical to be charged for.
