In over a month, my product was not shipped. Customer support was difficult to reach and when I finally did reach them they refused to issue a refund.
Don't pay extra for shipping or processing! I paid extra for quick processing and 1-3 day delivery and it took almost 7 days to be deliveries from New York to Wisconsin.

You basically have no idea when a product is arriving. They give you a tracking number but is useless. They just don't care when they do get hold of them. Will never order from them again.

I stopped using newegg.com a few years ago and never looked back. Why? Well it all had to do with their shady returns. They would not offer returns on certain items unless it had the newegg iron egg guarantee, which you had to pay extra for.
I ordered a pair of headphones and was disappointed with how they fit. I tried to return them for another pair but newegg said I could only return them if I ordered a pair that was the same price or MORE expensive. I ordered a $150 set of headphones and there were no other options at the same price range so I could only buy a more expensive set ( the next pair of headphones were about $225-250. I asked if I could purchase a slightly cheaper set and add additional item to cover the difference so they did not have to issue any refunds, they said NO.
Why exactly would I shop at newegg if I can't return anything?
Newegg is great UNTIL you have to return something.
I would like to state that I used Newegg for both business and personal use for many years, spending thousands of dollars. Newegg makes it seem like they are doing you a favor by returning a product, whether it be due to recieving a DOA or just a POS item. Newegg changed sometime after 2005-2006 and their excellent customer service suffered greatly and now it just sucks. At one time I would have never even considered purchasing at any place other than Newegg but now I only use the site as a research tool for parts. They do have excellent pictures of items and complete descriptions of all product details.

I have always had a pretty good experience with newegg, they have some great sales and good prices, my contacts with their customer service has been good.
The service was horrible. Totally terrible i do not recommend to purchase things on this website. I had purchased a freedompop sumsung phone on cyber monday, i got a great deal on it, but my credit card wasnt go through. On the following day i realized, then i change another credit card to pay it. But the void my payment. I been on HOLD for 1 hour for calling customer service.
After calling, they said that they could not help me much, and ask me purchased it agin. I asked what problem was the transaction, and they told me that I included my first and middle name wrongly. I can confirm that i did not insert may name wrongly. And they already void the payment. So they cant do much for me and ask me to purchase the item again.
But the deal had increased from $130+ to $350. Is wasnt fair for me. But they do not make any effort to make any changes for me. And the most the willing to give me an offer of $300. Before cyber monday the deal was only $140, on cyber mon it self the deal wasnt much different but they added free items, now the raised the price from $140 to $300.
Please think wisely before you purchase item at this website.
Their customer service is HORRIBLE. They wont help you at all. DONT hope they will help you.
SEVEN attempts and FOUR DAYS spent trying to place an $1800 order for a laptop computer all voided or cancelled by newegg. Credit card used has 20K limit and credit is stellar. Tried to call newegg, no response. Emailed newegg, no response. Placed order with AMAZON WITH NO PROBLEMS. STAY AWAY FROM NEWEGG, they are incompetent knuckle draggers. I'll never deal with them again or recommend them to anyone.

So, Newegg CANCELLED my order without my permission with no explanation, and then, when I tried to call the customer service line, I was put on hold for 3 HOURS. I tried the levitate, but no one ever connected to me, and I was hung up with on the phone. NEVER use this service.

You might find on this site what you looking for with even $20 or $50 cheaper but their support and refund policy is teriable and they are rude. I bought GPU international purchase and a problem happen in the customs they did not want to solve the problem to get the package back and refund me untill I used a US attorny to make them refund me. I tried all ways with customer support but they rude and hangup the chat on my face

I purchased a CPU around 9:30pm and called to cancel in the morning at 9:00am... I was told they couldn't cancel because a tracking # had already been assigned to the order, but the order was never picked up by UPS for 11 more hours, plenty of time to cancel that order. I noticed they immediately charged my account the $307 for the order. A customer service person said he would have the order intercepted, but that didn't happen, then he told me to just refuse them order when UPS showed up with it. I refused the order when UPS got here. So instead of refunding me my money for a package that should have been cancelled or intercepted, they are making me wait until the package is returned to them, which happened yesterday, it took a over a week for it to get back to them, and now they tell me it will take 2-4 days just to process the return and another 3-5 days for the refund to happen. They have been using my $300 for 2 weeks while I wait for them to refund my money for an item I never touched. Amazon has these guys beat big time. Screw Newegg.com, I will buy any where else but from them now. At least Amazon refunds my money immediately after getting a return package scanned by UPS.
PS, I had been doing business with Newegg.com, prior to this for at least 15 years... they have gone to hell!

I order A graphics card from Newegg the tracking number said that it was delivered but it wasn't I got in contact with Newegg filed a claim did a police report everything they asked but they refused the claim after I did everything I called UPS and they informed me that they will pay Newegg back for the graphics card but they refused to give me the money.

Got a good price on a lap top but had some issues, they did solve it. So it was good of them. Would recommend calling them with any issues so they solve right away.
I ordered a pair of speakers from their website 16 days ago. The seller was actually a private one but there were no indications of this in any of the emails I received, and it was not clear in the item webpage. Package never even shipped, I contacted the seller but thephone number is not active any more, never replied to my 3 emails. I then contacted Newegg's customer service 4 times, they did not know what to do but sending the seller an email. This happened 8 days ago, no answer yet. Even to obtain a refund newegg has first to contact the seller who needs to agree and reply to the customer, which has not happened yet. The worst web shopping experience I've ver had.
UPDATE: newegg customer service immediately contacted me after posting the review, telling me that the sellers provided for a replacement and the item would arrive in 24 hours. I would be ok, except that two days before I had asked for a refund and the newegg's agent told me they would have processed the refund quickly and internally. Thus I replied to the email explaining that I had asked for a refund and I did not want the item anymore, given that in the meantime I had bought it from another seller. More 36 hours have passed and no reply. These guys do not care about customers, but they seem to care about bad reviews. More updates will follow.

I have never and will never order from this site. I had someone use my Visa/Debit card to make a purchase with them. Very long story short is: I find the fraudulant charge and gather my own info to determine where the item was being shipped to. I notify the not so friendly or helpful customer service to advise them to stop the shipment because the purchase was a theft. They do this which only helps them out (I know, very nice of me to alert them). But when I try to get the info as to what was the purchase for totaling over $170.00, they tell me they can't give me any information because I don't have the thief's e-mail and password. So I ask them, "so it's ok that someone uses MY credit card, with My name, and MY phone number to make a purchase, and they can call you to get info about this transaction but I can't?" I was told yes, because it's their Newegg account... go figure.
Anyway, I have the police detective call them because two people in customer service tell me that the detective can get the info... but when the detective calls, they tell them they can't give it out and they will have the fraud dept. call them. Well so far no call from fraud (not surprising).
So... here is what I have learned. If anyone makes a purchase with Newegg using stolen identity/credit card... let the thief have the item, file the fraud form with your bank and let Newegg eat the cost of the loss... Sorry I ever stopped the shipment for them. I will never order from them, and have already told the large office I work for to never purchase from them. Their customer service stinks!
DO NOT EVER order from their "marketplace". These vendors simply steal your money, and NewEgg just assists them in the process.
I ordered products shown as in stock from a "vendor" - HotDealz4Less. So right off the bat, my fault, just look at the name of the vendor. Nothing professional there for sure.
They took two weeks to ship a package, and they shipped the cheaper version with a similar part number. After waiting a total of 3 weeks to receive this (keep in mind, could have bought from Amazon and had it in two days!), it took another week to get a return label.
I shipped it back, they received the return in 4 days. It's been two more weeks, and nothing. No refund. I've tried contacting the "vendor" directly, contacting NewEgg through every means possible with the constant "Give us the tracking information and we'll look in to it" followed by days later "Please give the vendor more time to process your return". ARE YOU SERIOUS? These people stole my money a month and a half ago, I've never been shipped the product I ordered, they received the wrong items they shipped me back almost 2 weeks ago. What could possible be the rationale that they need more time to process the return?
NEVER, I mean N-E-V-E-R again. If NewEgg was the last place on earth left to buy a product, I'd live without. They will never receive another penny of my business.

Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
