I often find something I want for myself but more often I find gifts for friends and family. With such a large selection, how can I go wrong?
I ordered shoes a week ago and asked for expedited shipping in time for Halloween. With no shipping notification as of 10/29, I investigated on the New Chic site to see that my merchandise is listed as 'back ordered' even though there was no such indication when I placed my order. I have cancelled my order and there's no telling how I may get my $$ back based on the other reviewers and their experience. How can we get the authorities to shut these scammers down?
I've learned that I need to ignore the ads I see on Facebook... they all tend to be for a company that is horrible in many ways, like NewChic. Horrible! Maybe they are all the same company with different names? Seriously, how can there be that many bad online places to buy clothes and shoes?

Ordered a purse and a coat and never got them. I also ordered another coat and they took my money right away then said it was on back order. I tried to live chat with them and before I could finish my message it disappeared. I have tried over and over to get in touch with them and nothing. They are a SCAM! I am taking legal action. My very first order was lost in shipment but customer service sent another one immediately. Just work out the issue with them and they will fic it. And their products are good quality.

I purchased two pairs of shoes from this company. After waiting a week I received an email notifying me that the items were out of stock and I could wait of cancel. I opted to wait with the assurance that the item would be in stock by the end of the week. After another 10 days I checked on the order via chat and was told that the items were still out of stock and they did not know when they would be in back in stock. I spent over a half an hour trying to get some satisfaction vie a bone or canceling my order. The customer service rep disaperaer for periods of time during our session. Bad customer service and they should not be taking orders on out of stock items without an approximate date of in stock... not sure if I will get my money back or not...

How would you even know if they were worn when you wouldn't take them back. They were 3 weeks late and they were never worn because they were tiny and I wouldn't even put that crap on my skin. Your taking people's money and not only are you selling terrible products, your attempt at calling what you tell clients is customer service is literally a slap in the face. Shame on you!

My item did not arrive, but the replacement sent did arrive in a timely manner. I had no problems with communication and they were more than courteous and understanding. Whilst not their fault, as can be seen by the postage tracking, it is frustrating that items take so long to arrive.
I appreciate their prompt response to let me know my order was back ordered. Even though I cancelled my order, my refund was immediate. Sincerely will shop their again.
Answer: A friend from Reading placed an order 14 weeks ago. Total cost was 21 GBP. He contacted NewChic about his order 5 times. Their standard answer (WAIT FEW MORE DAYS). Eventually he gave up and lost the 21GBP. If you have extra money that you want to throw away, NewChic is the way to go. They will take your money; send you nothing and tell you (we are sorry. Not which is shown and not "workable" as a purse. Communications with the company for returns result in frustration. The first statement is "you will be responsible to return this to China and it is very expensive. Do you want to proceed?" The address they gave is incomplete and does not come up on Google maps.
