Poor customer service when you call them to confirm the order status, they wouldn't give you an update right away and you have to keep calling them.
They charge the order on your credit card even though they don't have items in stock, and you have to call them ask for refund. Be careful the refund they process might be less than what you paid at the first place.
I bought a pair of shoes on clearance at $39.99 (the price is shown next to the item) and free shipping on that day. I had to return the shoes to the Naturalizer store and they deducted the free shipping cost and the GST from the price I paid. Can they do that when the ADVERTISED PRICE was $39.99. I think this is wrong. If they are advertising "free shipping" on a particular date, then that's what it is. It shouldn't be deducted from the cost of the item if it has to be returned to the store. I will never deal with them again.
Ordered the Samantha in papaya in a 5.5m. The shoes are:
Too long
Too narrow
Slipping off my heel due to their low heel profile
Too difficult/expensive to return
I'm disappointed because I had previously read great reviews.
Wish I could upload a photo here.
Bought a pair of shoes and at home found them not really comfortable for my feet. Went into the store to return them and the woman said that they are not in "reseallable" condition and would not take them back. Well, then they must have sold them to me in non-resellable condition
I had to return shoes. The return label that was emailed to me was in png format. I spent an hour trying to configure it to print. There was no way to print retun labels off from the order online. Skip buying directly from Naturalizer. Stick with Zapps who has the best return process!
I wear a hard to find 7.5 W shoe. I purchased a pair and they fit my feet like a glove-and the quality of the shoe is good. Unfortunately, I also have a puppy who likes to pull out and chew insoles. These insoles are not glued in and should be easy to send. I called today to order replacement insoles and was told that I cannot purchase insoles from Naturalizer. I was given 2 options, neither of which are ideal for me. The first is to go to a place that sells insoles, the other was a 20% of a whole new pair of shes. The shows are fine, I only need the insoles. BTW they are having a 25% off sale today, so if I did buy a new pair with the offered 20% off, I would be paying more than today's sale price for the shoes! In todays world, Customer Service is everything, unfortunately, Naturalizer has not caught on-Give the Customer what they want, Naturalizer!. Very dissappointing.
They just don't answer to any complaint. If you buy in sale they send you items that haven't passed the quality control. Ordered a pair of boots in 7M but they were in reality 8,5M. Only the box had the size 7 M. Ordered a pair of sandals for my mother in size 8 M, after 2 days they canceled the order due to insufficient inventory and the next day the same size and colour appeared but in regular price more than 120$, followed by an e-mail titled "You have great taste, see something you like" accompanied by the picture of the same sandal I have ordered and wich they canceled. Very ugly, cruel, unethical company...
I purchased Naturalizer booties on Amazon which didn't fit but by mistake I returned them toNaturalizer. I explained the situation and Naturalizer was very understanding of the situation and with the help of Demi at Customer Service and her supervisor Sarah they offered me a few options, one to issue me a Naturalizer credit for the cost of the booties $73, issue me a gift card to be used for the purchase of any Naturalizer footwear, or mail me a company check. This is a great company and I will definitely do business with them in the future. More USA companies should learn from Naturalizer. Bravo!.
I am trying to replace my summer sandals. I used to purchase shoes from Naturalizer, but they stopped bringing in shoes I liked. I have had such a hard time finding shoes, that I went online. I picked 3 different pairs. I am happy to pay shipping, as I have been driving around and wasting gas.
The shoes finally arrive. The first pair, are a good fit but the leather is awful. So rough. It looks like fake leather made out of cloth, but its real. Anyway, I take it back to the outlet store and I am greeted with, "Oh no. I don't want you here'. They didn't want to take my return! What's the point?
So, the 2 pairs arrive today. Cheaply made! So cheap. Yes, it's leather... but so thin, and cut badly. The sole and foot bed also don't feel good - unsteady and as if it will break. I check underneath... Made in Ethiopia. So, the prices of the shoes are the same, but they are likely paying pennies (we don't have pennies in Canada anymore!) for the workers.
Shame on Naturalizer. I will never shop at your stores or online again. Good bye!
As someone who worked for the company for a long time, I know that their biggest mistake was when they started sourcing the stock of the online stores out of the individual retail stores alongside the warehouse. Staff in store were expected to find and process often a ton of orders. No extra hours, raise in pay, additional staffing added, training, additional technology etc were provided after this change. Meaning staff were expected often within half an hour during store opening to process sometimes up to 20 orders along with the many tasks associated with opening the store, while working alone. Processing each order meant finding it, printing out its label, printing out the tracking sheet, printing out a separate label, checking the shoe, putting it in a bag and taping it up, then making sure all the right labels were on it. It was often impossible to complete before store open so the odd time a shoe would be sold in store before it could be packed up, or the wrong shoe sent if staff were getting overwhelmed with in store customers and other tasks deemed necessary by management. Or, what happened most frequently, inventory would be off and the stores would not actually have the requested shoe. Overall this was a very poor decision on their part for customer service, and could be very frustrating for staff as well. They should've kept it in the warehouses or at least hired staff to do stock tasks only to avoid all the mistakes this process caused.
Their shoes are very comfortable but they use the cheapest material. The top part of some of their more expensive $89-$100 dollar and up dress sandles look like something you would find in a $10 dollar outlet shoe store. Their shoes are way over priced for the quality of their shoes and i ordered four of the same shoes trying to get the right fit and none of them fit me. A sz 6 is a 5 1/2, a sz 6/12 is a 7, sz 7 is actually a 7 1/2, a 7 1/2 is a sz a sz 8 in the shoe called Penny. After i ordered them i chose to take them to the nearest Naturalizer Outlet near me which is almost 42 mile away from my home to eliminate the waitng peroid of shipping them back and then have to wait for them to return but the Penny shoe is a better quality than some of the other high priced shoes they sale.
FALSE deals being offered
I place an order to but two shoes that was cancelled a week after that! They acted unprofessionally like scammer seller in ebay.
I bought several pairs last summer, some of which were still boxed. Took out $100 pair which I never wore and they immediately started to fall apart. On day 1 lining started to crumble like cheap cardboard. Feet feel extremely uncomfortable after just 2 hours of wearing the sandpaper like scratchy crumbs inside. Do they make their artificial leather lining from they polyutherene mixed with God knows what to make sure shoes would disintegrate in just one wear or certainly not be wearable after just few times? Extremely unethical company, their products are really not lasting as well as my $10 store find which I am wearing for 2 summer seasons. Please do yourself and your friends and family a favor. Share this and other reviews. We as consumers would want to buy something that lasts for more than just 2 hours. Shoemaker was laughing when I told him what happened. He said next time for same money buy 2 pairs of quality shoes on sale. Also, I just wish I have donated my $500+ to someone in need. Please don't forget to tell your friends not to buy anything from Naturalizer which is really a terrible company which steals money and pollutes our planet with their garbage non-wearable shoes.
I will NEVER shop from this company again! Their customer service and return policies are such a slap in the face as a customer. I ordered a shoe in my size, it was huge. I put it back in the box, all tags, never worn, complete packaging, all my original paperwork and I paid the priority return to send it back. When I arrived home tonight, a box was waiting for me on my front porch. The return center took all my paperwork out, replaced it with a generic form letter with no contact number on it, basically saying sorry for you it was over 30 days. My return was with in 31 days, of a product they sell that was not on clearance. It was a return they could have resold no problem. Instead I received NO call, NO email updating me that they denied my return. Now I am out $80.00 for shoes I can not wear. They are the worst company. They do not care about their customers, about doing the right thing, customer service or customer loyalty. I will give anyone my business before Naturalizer. It cost them at least $15.00 to send the return back in a damaged re tapped gross box. So unbelievably unprofessional!
TOTAL ORDER INCLUDING SHIPPING & TAX: $59.88. [SALE PRICE:$49.99]
TOTAL REFUND QUOTED: $43.04.
THERE IS A $6.95 REFUND PROCESSING FEE; APPARENTLY NO TAX OR SHIPPING REFUND. BUYER MUST PAY SHIPPING CHARGES: APPROX $6:50; THIS LEAVES A NET REFUND OF $36.54.
SUBTRACTED FROM $59:88 THIS TRANSACTION WOULD COST US $23.34. SALE PRICE WASN'T THAT GOOD TO START WITH. LESSON LEARNED, KEPT SHOES, RATHER GIVE AWAY!

I ordered a pair of shoes, waited a week for them, only to receive an email saying they canceled my order because they didn't have the inventory. Not cool.
The inner lining is all falling out & wearing out. Terrible quality, Will never buy this brand again.

I have been a dedicated Naturalizer customer for over 10 years (buying boots, dress shoes, purses, gifts for all the women in my family every year) but no more! Unbelievable. I will never ever buy another item from this company again. My story: I ordered 2 purses, and 2 pairs of boots ($716.76). Two purses arrived, as well as the boots that were a Christmas present. However, the Blondo Heido winter leather boots that I ordered for myself never arrived. That was November, this is February, still no boots. I just spent 1.5 hours on the phone with a customer service rep. No answers. I just really want the boots, or my money back. It is a -15 Canadian winter week and no boots = one unhappy camper. Never again! Evidently, someone from the internal investigation team is going to call me in a few days, no name, no title, just someone. I am not happy. I will tell every woman I know to not shop with this company unless they can afford (or are willing) to gamble $300 for boots that they will never get! Good-bye forever Naturalizer.
Worst shopping experience! I bought shoes online and then couldn't return them when they didn't fit properly cause they were worn. How else would I know if they are good or not?
Took way to long to get the shoes. I had to return them, it's been 10 days and they still haven't processed my refund. I called and got very little help. They are friendly, but I want my money back!
Answer: Heya! I'm also a 7.5 but when I got my Naturalizer heels I got a size 7 and even those have a bit of room. I got these extra pads that go underneath the front part of my foot and the shoe fits perfectly. Definitely size down.
Answer: The fit depends on the style but the 8 is probably a safe bet.
Answer: I've bought this brand twice and both times the shoes didn't last. First time it was a normal work wear pair which I thought felt very comfortable. The heel support screw snapped within 5 weeks and they went to the rubbish. The second time, I bought slip ons and after the first wear the insole lifted and started to come off and the cushioning underneath started crumbling
