Appalling behaviour
October 18, 2022

Bought I phone via eBay, it was meant to arrive within 2 days it arrived two days following. I had to buy another phone to keep business going. I returned and item received at seller, next thing my eBay is restricted permanently and no refund of money!

Can't get in touch with anyone I'll be approaching small claims court tommorrow

I was skeptical about ordering from MyWit to begin with, for the same reason I'm leery about ordering a cell phone (refurbished or not) from Ebay, due to lots of shady folks out there. I was pleasantly surprised when I received my Samsung S6 from MyWit. It was like the phone was hardly used. There were no scratches on the screen or the body of the phone (as shown in the photos). The price was perfect as well.

Not sure why lots of other folks are having less than stellar issues with MyWit, but I guess that could go for any other retail store. You have some good and some bad.

I will definitely order from MyWit again when it comes time to purchase a new (to me anyways) phone.

I bought a grade 2 note 8 that was described as free of cracks or major scratches and dents. What I got was a cracked screen with a massive scratch and scratches all over the edges of the front and back.

There is simply no way this phone went through a "65 point inspection" with how gross and broken it was. There is also very little chance the "refurbishing" they do is more than wiping the storage and cleaning the screen of fingerprints. Upon inspecting for 10 seconds, there was dirt and crud along most of the edges of the device

You are absolutely correct. You should not have received a device with a cracked screen. We state in our listing for these fully functional, but "Good" cosmetic condition devices. Only minor scratches and blemishes are to be expected. They have 0 customer service don't reply to emails or messages, my order has been processing for two days! I order stuff from China the same day and it's arriving tomorrow morning what's the hold up my wit? $#*!tiest site. *******

Buyer beware!

Buyer beware! I purchased an iPhone 8 from MyWit and had issues within the first 8 months. The phone won't even turn on. I contacted the reseller (MyWit) and they told me they only offer a 3 month warranty for returns. That is awful after spending $400 for a iPhone! Never buying anything from this reseller again!

I ordered of MyWit website. It was supposed to be in 'Very Good Condition'. It arrived badly packaged, loose in a box with pieces of plastic and the charger. I asked for an exchange but they said return it They said they would not pay for return shipping as it was 'Buyers Remorse', not acknowledging they sent a crap phone. They post a rosy return policy but its a bit of a scam. You can either keep the below standard phone they send or return it and eat the shipping costs. There are better companies to buy from, stay away from MyWit.

Phone purchase

Please be aware this company they will sell you cell phone with IMEI having a outstanding balance from the previous customer.
The carrier can block the phone anytime.
Think twice before you doing business with them.

Ordered an iPhone 7 from them, and it started well. It was packed well, arrived quick and was like new. The battery was poor though and that's where the problems started. When it would get to below 28% the phone became basically unusable, I stuck with it making sure it never ran dead. One night it did and that was the end of the phone... it wouldn't hold charge after only 7 months after getting it. I messaged them and they were happy to refund, or so they said. A week after sending it back I heard nothing and had to message them asking if they'd got it. They told me they had but were unable to send my refund through paypal. They're still saying the same thing a month later, they refused to give me their PayPal address, ignored me for 10 days straight and avoided questions. They have no intentions of refunding so I had to go through eBay. Hopefully they can help resolve it. Absolutely avoid them

Not refund yet

Updated "received the full refund from ebay on 11/08/2019 - not sure whose faulty about the delay of refund. On the other hand, I was not able to use the product from mywit, so I cannot provide any real experienced comments - the response from their custom service is quick and detailed."

Ordered a Google Pixel XL on ebay from mywit and requested to cancel the order since it appeared to be a white one which is actually black. They stiil shipped it ignoring my cancellation request. After receiving the product I made a return which was delivered on 10/21/2019 to mywit. They "issued" a refund on 10/23/2019 which never went back to my bank account - I called ebay and was informed that mywit did not actually put my money back rather than just a "formal" refund initiation. I originally had a good faith with mywit and wanted to purchase two Google Pixel 2XL for my husband and myself as gifts since our iPhones 7 are both off battery, but now I do not trust them anymore.

Decline purchase

Tried to buy phone and it gets declined, contact mywit and told your orders have exceeded our maximum risk assessments. AndWhen asked what that is, they don't know. Called CITI bank and they said they are not declining it, Back to mywit and they weren't interested in finding the problem. Glad didn't order from them as if have problem with phone, will probably get same service

I've bought four refurbished Glaxaxy phones from this seller over the years. I refuse to buy new phones, so I like to wait a couple of years and buy "older model" but perfectly good phones. Two S5's and approx four years later two S7's. Each phones has been fantastic! I just went to look at the store hoping to buy two S20+ but it seems the store is empty. I've found this seller to be trustworthy and now I'm stressing a little about buying from a different seller. WHERE ARE YOU MYWIT?!

WATCH OUT

Purchased a well priced IPHONE 8. Came in the mail quickly. Worked like a charm. Uh oh turns out the UNLOCKED device I had purchased was in fact LOCKED. I have emailed MyWit multiple times with no response on their part. I plan to wait for a response or refund the phone through Newegg. Love the device but without the sim card working there is no use for it. WATCH OUT.

When I received the product, I saw that the material was cheap and see-through. The product was fake and of very low- quality. The picture they show is way different than the product you receive. I definitely wouldn't recommend this website for online shopping.

DONT BUY FROM HERE:
So, I went into AT&T today to get my iPhone 8 Plus unlocked today because I'm switching phone plans. I've had this phone since March, everything has been fine. So tell me why when I go into the store they say the phone HAS NOT BEEN PAID OFF YET SO THEY CANT UNLOCK IT? Reading the reviews, it turns out this company sells phones that still have outstanding balances from the previous owners. AT&T can shut off my phone that I paid over $300 for at any moment and there's nothing I can do. That's $300 down the toilet for me. I switched to Verizon and they didn't catch the issue first, so now I have a completely useless phone, a company that sold it to me that doesn't give a care, a company that can shut off my phone at any given moment, and $300 less in my bank account for nothing. Don't buy from here y'all. Just don't do it. It'll only screw you over in the long run.

I ordered a iphone 6s plus from their website and I got exactly what i asked for. At first I was a little confused on why my SD card for At&t wouldn't work but after a few tries it worked. The phone had little to no scratches and it functions great. The only thing is that the battery health is at a 78% and it dies so fast. But this was a refurbished phone so it wasn't going to have a perfect battery. I'll just buy a new one. But overall satisfied

We did check your device and your device is GSM unlocked for carriers stated in the listing, AT&T and T-Mobile. The device is not T-Mobile locked even though it states T-Mobile on the package. The reason the package states T-Mobile is because that is where we purchased the device from. They are liars

I've placed 2 successful orders with them in the past 6 months. On Tuesday I placed another order and it went from on hold to closed. I spoke with multiple reps including a manager named Suki trying to find out why my order was canceled and all they "said" they knew was that my order exceeded their risk assessments. It was between the bank and the system and there was nothing they could do to override it. I even asked the manager over the phone who called me privately after waiting for hours for supervisors to reach out to me who never did, if I make a new account and placed an order would that work? She said mostly likely it will be canceled for the same reason. I tried any way to see, since they told me it's the system like it's a computer that's messed up. While I was in chat with a rep trying to see what was wrong, the same thing happened. Today, I found out these people are the BIGGEST LIARS. I had a family member make an account and place an order and it didn't cancel within the first few hours like my orders did. It was on hold overnight and closed this morning. That tells me it's these people behind it all along. I still don't know why they canceled my orders and I only kept trying because of their prices and because I thought it was just a system error. I'm hurt and offended by the situation especially considering that they were lying to me the whole entire time but when I look at some other reviews it was probably for the best.

Defective product

I bought a refurbished iPhone 5 and have only been using it a few months. Recently i had issues with the screen going to dark red. Now its just black and doesnt work. Contacted the company via email and was informed they only warranty the product for 30 days. What a waste of money. I would stay far away from this company.

I bought a phone in May 2018, it stopped working. Victoria from Mywit company said there is only 30 day warranty. I replied that website states 90 day money back warranty, that's their promise. I was told that the 30 day policy changed in July 2018 to 90 days, then why were some of these customers warranty not honored? Especially the ones that bought it in June 2018. I have everything scripted.

Recently, we ran a promotion for a 90-day money back guarantee where devices purchased after the new plan was implemented could be returned within 90 days for a full refund if you were not satisfied or experienced any issues with the phone. In many cases, we are happy to work with our customers and work out a solution that is satisfactory. Unfortunately, with a device was purchased more than 30 days prior to the new 90 day return policy, we were unable to make an exception.

Our listings clearly state the descriptions of all our devices and do give a clear understanding as to what condition the device is in. Used devices such as ours are sent through a rigorous inspection process. At any time during that process the device fails, we then repair the device and use OEM parts when needed. Our devices are not new which is why we state they will have scratches. They also do not always come with new batteries. The only time the battery is replaced is if it fails the inspection process. Our devices are tested by humans and sometimes devices can get through due to human error. But, at this time, we are selling thousands of devices each day and at this time, we only have a 3% return rate, so our process has improved greatly. Now unfortunately, our system no longer allows us to process partial refunds and so that is why we were unable to give you a partial refund on your order. We also do not sell any accessories and so we are unable to refund you for the accessories you purchased for the devices. This policy is also mentioned on our seller pages. We do however offer a gracious return policy which we did assist you with. Once devices are returned within that return policy, we issue a full refund. No communication from this company... Ive tried to contact this company through email from the beginning of the purchase with no response. When I ordered I upgraded the shipping then when I tracked the order it was not going to be delivered by the date it should have been. I contacted amazon which contacted mywit regarding this issue... no response. I was on vacation and was leaving the day it was to be delivered so I attempted to cancel the order. Im no longer at the address it was to ship to so Ive yet again reached out to see if they contacted the shipping company to have them return the package... no response... Im going to have to drive 12 hours to find this phone and personally deliver it to them and get my money back while Im pissed off... Bless their heart DONT ORDER FROM THEM
