I had a large order that was split in 4 Packages, although they all arrived at the same time under 1 shipment ID 2 of the packages were logged in the system with the total amount for the whole order which was split over 2 packes. I was lucky that John Nasser was able to help me with my query and he adjusted the values for each package to the real value contained in those for boxes. Great service, thank you John

I have a question with my package.
I did not find any info nor receive any noticefication whatsoever from either the forwarder or MyUS.
So I reached out Live Chat for help.
Roderic, the agent that helped me out was very helpful.
Edrian was a great help when I received a package with an incomplete address onit which attracted an additional handling fee. Edrian asked for the invoice and saw I had provided the correct address to the merchant, and then waived the fee for me. Great service.

I have a parcel(a pair of shoes) value $220, but they put it as $500 value of item for custom charge. I paid express shipping $50. Now i have to waste my time and pay to DHL for £170 tax value when the item just costed for $220.
Customer service through live chat are friendly(john bennedict, jacqueline, jeanniesa, roderick) and helpful. But i have not gotten any solution for this issue.
DHL told me to pay the tax and claim it to HMRC which is getting more harder as I have to fill forms and sent it by mail etc.
I know this is my mistake of putting automatically forwarding the post and I didnt notice that the shoes company didnt put any invoice paper inside the shoebox. But I mean, $500 for a pair of shoes? Thanks that you didnt put $5000 for this, or else i could not even afford this tax and claim it back.

It has been more than 2 weeks, HRMC have no given me any refund or information for the overvalue tax. So, basically if there is no refund, I literally pay the custom tax as the same value as for my actual item's value. Ridiculous

Still no refund or news from HMRC. From myus response it was written that they use research value for this shoes of $500. Now tell me which website tells that this shoes price is $500? Which is double than the retail. Insane. I'd suggest that you cut out that option for automatic forwarding shipping as you just put random custom value for the item price.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
