Just on the chat now with Pedde, needed info re a delivery that needed to be turned around quickly, have an event with tight timeframes. Although the answer wasn't exactly what I wanted, I got the answer easily and quickly, I understand the costs and timeframes involved, and how I might change what I do at this end to make sure the parcel is received for the event. Was skeptical, but everything went pretty smoothly. Delivery was pretty expensive, but considering I live in Australia and wouldn't have been able to get my stuff otherwise, it was a good deal!

My things came in a box (which the stuff was out of the original packaging, but nothing was actually opened up), and everything was in perfect condition.

Purchased a designer coffee table and selected and paid for the additional option of extra padding to ensure it arrived safely. Combined the table and shipping were over $2000. The table arrived wrapped in a lightweight cling wrap no box, no padding and completely ruined, scratched, covered in dirt and with chunks missing - completely unusable. I also took the option of insurance. They agree it was their fault but will not refund the full amount and will not provide a refund only a credit to use on shipping however I will never be using them again so I have lost $2000 and still have to replace the coffee table.
Everything happened exactly as MyUs said it would, with parcels being delivered on schedule. Online help was spectacular, with particular reference to Edrian. Any query I had was answered professionally and accurately. I will use this company again.

There had originally been a mistake with my shipment where MyUS had shipped my package in two shipments instead of one. And I had to pay an extra fee for this. I contacted Jacob from support and he was very helpful and managed to waive the fee as a one time courtesy!
After being a VIP member for almost 9 months they suddenly hold my account for no reason and each time i ask their customer service about the problem they keep telling me the same thing "your account is under review", the problem here is we don't have anytime to lose and i can't support the current delay.
Want to post this review to let you know that one day it's your turn to be under review like forever under review and keep refreshing the page waiting for them to unblock your account and it never happens, that's what i'm currently experiencing.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
