I couldnt log in to my account for some reason. Then I went to the Chat area for help. The agent who helped me, Mr Roderick was very helpful and quick in fixing the issue. Am really glad that in a matter of seconds he was able to unblock my account.

I used their personal shopper service a few times. They ordered goods for me, and then almost 9 months later have not delivered. When I asked for a refund and cancellation of the order, they refused. Awful customer service. Do use that personal shopping service or you may be out of pocket.

Absolutely horrible. I payed for a service. They advertised they could deliver to Gonaives Haiti and my package made it to Port au Prince. If you don't know, that's 3 and 1/2 hours apart. They could do nothing so I had to find and pay someone to make the 7 hour trip to pick up my package. I could have sent straight through fed ex had I known that's all they would do.

I do NOT recommend MyUS. I ordered a lot of clothes from the US and needed a US address because I live in Europe. To avoid customs, I spent over 50 dollars splitting my packages. That way I only had to pay for VAT and shipping. I clicked on "send packages" and paid for delivery. But then I get one big package. And get a note that I have to pay over 300 dollars in customs duties and VAT from Svea. I wrote to MyUS to hear them why they sent me one big package now that I had spent money splitting the packages up. They then write that I had asked for it myself. In my memory, I never asked for it, and even if I did, I would think it's customer service to alert the customer or have a "warning" pop up before paying for the delivery: "Are you sure that you want to ship in one package "? They can not prove to me that I asked for that they shipped it in one package. They should be able to proof this! I got an apology from the assistant who wanted to return the $50 I had spent splitting the package. But the next day I get another email from the assistant again stating that she still can not return the 50 dollars, because her "manager" had said it was my own fault. I don't understand that at all, can take place. You can't promise a customer anything and then withdraw it. The table catches. It's not so much the money, but the principle of it. I really hope there are some managers who have bad taste in my mouth over giving me such a treatment. But they probably haven't. They seem reasonably indifferent to their customers, and in no way help. Stay far away from MyUS and take advantage of some of their competitors instead. This is the last time I use MyUS.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
