I would not recommend anyone booking with Mytrip, as this platform is the worst I've seen so far for the following reasons:
When the round trip was booked in November 2023 from Basel/Mulhouse to Dubai, the outbound flight had a stop in Turkey, so I assumed the return flight would be the same but when the booking was completed, I was astonished that the return flight has a stop in Tel Aviv. I checked myself and saw that none of the airlines in my return schedule were flying to and from Israel, given the unrest in the region. The Mytrip platform still permitted people to book flights, without any warning, with a stop in Tel Aviv, which was not our intention at all.
When I tried to get hold of Mytrip with the chat option- I waited 30 mins. Without anyone connecting to it.
When I tried reaching Mytrip by phone on **************, I spent 32 mins. Talking to 3 different persons, who were not able to help me and I was asked to book new flights and then to claim my money later. When I asked to talk to the supervisor me to download an app - Moonpay, which is an app to buy bitcoins and to grant them access to my phone, apparently for the refund, which I declined.
All in all, I have NO REFUND AND I LOST MONEY (CHF1917) AND TIME WITH MYTRIP, SIMPLY BECAUSE I SAW THAT THE RETURN FLIGHT HAD A STOP IN ISRAEL and Mytrip could neither book another return flights nor provide a refund for this dubious booking from the Mytrip platform.
I paid all in all CHF1'917 Swiss Francs for a round trip from Basel/Mulhouse to Dubai for the 28th December until the 3rd January 2024.
It went well can't wait for my flight in Kansas City

This company is a pure scam, the "5-star, great service" reviews are highly suspect in the context of all the other negative reviews.
I am a doctor working in the UK, please contact me below I can link you call logs, e-mail correspondence and current proof that mytrip.com is nothing more than a consumer scam - currently discussing legal proceedings with my EU Consumer Rights lawyers to make a case against this company.
I booked flights with a connection in Hong Kong from Heathrow to Melbourne leaving on 30th September.
6 days prior to the flight received an e-mail from mytrip.com explaining the airline had cancelled the flight. Mytrip only offered alternative flight which would make it impossible to make the connection - otherwise to contact them for a refund.
Here is where the scam starts--their call centres charge premium rates to many countries to resolve complaints. I have now in total 158 minutes of call time (most of which on hold to mytrip services) and nothing has been done.
Here is what they do: Despite the airline (Virgin Atlantic) informing me that due to the flight cancellation I would be entitled to a full flight refund to be arranged through mytrip; Mytrip continue to say that they are waiting for the airline to authorise the refund before releasing it.
**They have no intention of pursuing this refund or contacting the airline**, Virgin Atlantic inform me they have received no such request from Mytrip. All of my calls to the company just end up being Re-directed to a different person, clocking up premium call charges and sending me in circles. Hours of circles.
This company is little more than a scam website. They have no Alternative Dispute Resolution agency to oversee them. If you check TripAdvisor you can see 100s of cases of Mytrip magically changing connecting flights and then refusing to offer refunds or saying a refund would be pointless due to their "cancellation fees"
Summary: Highly suspect, borderline illegal racketing organisation who steal money for flights that are often cancelled. I am currently involved with EU Consumer rights lawyer to further this. *Avoid at all costs*. I'll be pasting this story on every available forum I can to try to help others

Absolutely pathetic experience dealing with myTrip.com customer support Team to change the dates for a flexible ticket (paid £800+ for the ticket) that I bought through SkyScanner. Had to make at least 4 phone calls and had to spend more than 6 hours just to make one change. Majority of their customer support representatives were rude in providing their responses to the customer. It looks like they have been constrained not to provide more than two options to the customer and customer is mandated to choose one of the two options they provide in the call (irrespective of whether they like those options or not) or they are asking the customers to call them back.
I had to call the customer support twice today, the first call has been disconnected after waiting on the call for almost 90 mins (not sure if the call was disconnected intentionally) and had to make another call and wait for another 70 mins before some one picks up the call. No one from the customer support team calls you back if the call gets disconnected and you have to start the conversation with a new representative again when you call back the customer support. After waiting on the call for 3 hours today, the representative was not flexible to provide proper options to re-schedule the tickets. I have been given two itineraries for the date change that I have requested, one for which the representative was not able to provide a price and I have been asked to either to accept the second itinerary that he has provided (irrespective of whether I am interested or not) or I have been asked to call them back. After having such a pathetic experience of waiting for hours on the call to reach the customer support, who would like to call them back. So, I have been forced to take the second option for which there is a waiting time of 7 hours 45 mins during the transit and a price difference of another £140. I have waited for almost 3 hours tot reach the customer representative today, but he does not have patience to wait for few mins to make the payment and he threatens me that he will disconnect the call if I don't choose the itinerary he has provided and make the payment immediately.
With the sort of experience I had with myTrip.com so far, I have now decided to book my flight tickets in future DIRECTLY with the Airline and NOT through portals like Skyscanner or any other similar website as it is not worth spending hours of time dealing with these agents and amount of stress that they give.

Answer: NO! They won't provide any service, unless you pay a penalty. Even if you need assistance for a situation that is outside your responsibility. This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
